gary wright westerly,  RI Replacing the clear shield This is not a real easy task. Plan on about an hour if it is your first time. Some may end up totally unsuccessful, having to get it put back together at a dealer. When all is said and done it makes a nice difference. There was not enough room under the helmet for my sunglasses, so I was blind till I did this.

Chris Winters ,  CA Works Well I bought this item so that I could hopefully stop wearing sunglasses while riding. So far so good. The tint is just ebnough. It didn't quite seal as well as the original, but I don't notice any extra wind noise while riding. So far, I am happy with this purchase.

Corey Broster Toronto,  ON HJC-Flat Shield for AC-11 CL-14 and CL-Max Helmet This is a smoked face shield; I found that the clear one distorts my clip-on sunglasses so I wanted a shield that would work in direct sunlight. So far I have been happy with the result and I use it most of the time. I found it more difficult to put on than the clear shield, partly because it is difficult to see how the parts are fitting together. It is not so convenient because after dark it must be changed or kept up where it is not much use. I thought it was a bit pricey at first since it cannot be used at night but after using it I feel it was worth the money to get it.

CECILIA PORTLAND,  OR HJC FLAT SHEILD The shield is great. Getting it to fit on the gear plate was an effort. I had 3 fellow bike riders try it and they couldn't do it. I felt pretty good because I did get it on the gear plate. I think instructions with the replacement parts would be great....Thanks.
