Brian Kummer San Diego,  CA Excellent replacement hardware! This hardware seems to fit more flush on my helmet than the original did. Although, I think someone had been testing out the helmet in the store before I bought it. The original hardware broke the first time I took my shield off to clean it. This is a good replacement at a good price.

robert carrboro,  NC what's to say? I wouldn't be buying this one if the first one hadn't failed, so I could be happier. $10 is a bit much for a very simple, delicate mechanism, but we'll see how long it lasts this time. First time around…dropped the helmet on the visor and the mechanism took the brunt about five months in. I know, I know. Don't drop the helmet.
