Critical problem: very strangely, the eye level portion (which is about one-and-half inch below from the top) is optically distorted. It is such a shame for this product that fits well and looks cool. Bell should and can solve this issue on this product. There must be a recall if there are many of the same problem out there.

Just can't recommend this to anyone. The optical quality of the shield is terrible, verging on dangerous. There's a distinct horizontal line in particular right at eye line with the shield fully down. Disregarding that, the rest of the shield is just plain bad. I anticipate headaches and close calls because of this. Buy the one made by Nolan if ya can find it.

The shield looks cool on the retro Bell Helmet. The only problem that I had was the fact that the vision out of the shield was slightly distorted right at the level of my eyesight. This was rectified by raising the shield up to the first click. Problem mostly solved. Matches the helmet look very well and has good wind protection.

I have purchased 5 of these faceshields for the 5 Bell 500 Helmets that I own. 2 are clear and 3 are tinted. I love all of them. Very easy to clean (Dish Soap & water) and soft cloth do the trick every time. No more sand or bugs in my face. If you own an open face helmet, these shields are the way to go.

Bought this visor for my Bell custom 500. Great viability, no distortion, easy flip up/down. Makes a little wind noise, but ok for my scooter riding around at 40mph.

Have used 2 flip visors over the past 2 years and the only complaint I might have is that the visor scratches very easily. Otherwise the visor is very practical for my use.
