The shield fits fine on my Daytona open face helmet and it looks good. The downside is that, as you would expect, a short shield like this lets wind under the bottom and it blows in your eyes. The faster you go the worse it is. So, as long as you're not cruising down the interstate you can probably live with the teary eyes.

I thought some helmets manufacturer having good idea about the flip up sun visor, with this shield, I can put it in my old helmets without update to the new one, fantastic.

I’ve owned this lens now for over a year. Reason I bought it was because AFX doesn't make a shield for my FX-30 helmet. Don't know about other helmets but would definitely recommend to buy if you have the FX-30. Fitment is perfect, easy to install and remove and blocks the sun great. Haven't had any issues with the durability to date, not even a scratch.

The shield is the size we wanted, however it does not work on half helmets, and on full helmets is doesn't stay in place.

A great way to shield your eyes from the sun. I really like the mirror finish. I'm only able to use the side clips that just insert in between the padding of the helmet. Slips in & easily slips out. The top middle clip has no where to fasten on my helmet but the two side clips suffice.

I liked this better than my exterior shield on my Nolen 102 helmet; however, the cloth bag to keep it in (when not in use) tears easily and doesn't allow storage with the clips in place. As a replacement for sunglasses, it works well, but isn't as convenient for 'on and off'.

Extremely disappointed in product. An afx shield does not fit an afx helmet? Come on. The only reason I didn’t return it was because I dropped it and scratched it trying to fit it in the helmet. Threw it away and ordered a mirrored visor. Cheaply made product.

This is a great idea and is much better than wearing sun glasses in your helmet. Funny thing is it fits my Bell helmet much better than my AFX helmet.
