Ed M CIncinnati,  OH Fog City Speed Tint works I was skeptical that it would be worthwhile. Turns out it works pretty good. I've spent most of my riding years using a dirt helmet with visor, so I missed being able to duck my head and block the sun. This is the next best thing. Well worth the price, which was half what I've seen before (which I refused to pay).

Nichele Weatherford Hub City,  CA Shield tint For what it costs, its worth it. It is kind of tricky getting it positioned right on the top of the shield. On hot days it gives more shade for my eyes, so I don't have to try wearing sun glasses. I give it a thumbs up.

Natalia Toronto,  ON Speed tint Have several and helps greatly to reduce the suns glare. They have changed the model and it now glues onto the visor - which means you cannot remove it and use it on another helmet. The previous model just stayed on after wetting it but the price is reasonable so buying a couple will not break the bank.

ariel streamwood,  IL money saver Better than buying a smoked shield. The adhesive sticks good if you know how to apply it right the first time. It works like the visor in your car or your ballcap. If you want something wider than this, it serves the purpose, better buy a smoked shield then.

Randall Landry McAllen,  TX Good Value This is a product that's value far exceeds the cost. It is great when the sun is low in the sky and the safety of having it is well worth the cost.

dan oxnard,  CA fog city tint The fog city tint was a waste of money, it did not even last a week and the adhesive was not good enough to hold it, it peeled off. Good thing I bought the HELMET SUNBLOCKER which is the best as far as helmet tint is concerned.

Fred Diamond Bar,  CA Fly away Not too impressive. Sorry guys its a great idea if it stays on your shield. I open my shield and next thing I know it flew off. I just use the tinting method and that works fine.

Tim McCarthy Westborough,  MA Speed Tint worth the $15 bucks! I purchased the speed tint in late september. My visibility while riding in September (low sun) was starting to be a problem. I do not like wearing shades under my Arai Corsair, helmet and I did not want to go with a full tint screen. This did the trick! For $15 bucks the speed tint dampens the glare and I do not have to ride with my head down to limit the glare or direct sunlight. It also looks kind of cool almost give's the helmet an F1 look. Easy to install and looks to be durable. Money well spent

Kyle Boston,  MA Decent, but better options exist I have another brand of tint strip in my old helmet - I forget the brand, but it has 2 differences I prefer over this one: It's wider, and it adheres with just soapy water. The greater width is nice because it blocks more glare (even though I trimmed it in the center so I could see stoplights better, which was extremely easy). The soapy adhesion is nicer than the adhesive strip that runs along the bottom of this unit, because I can see the strip on this one. Also it may lose its stickiness out if I move it a few times, I'm not sure. Either way these strips are wonderful, and this one beats nothing.

Steve Goodyear,  AZ Very useful self-sticking tint OK - I was a little skeptical if this was going to work in the massive sunshine of Arizona. But it really does work! I installed (i.e. stuck it) to the inside of my visor just above eye level. So if I'm looking into the sun, I just tip my helmet down a bit to shield my eyes from the sun. And when I don't need it (like riding at night), I just keep my helmet at a normal level. Kind of like the visor in your car. Low price and works great - definitely sold on this gizmo.

Bob Hunsberger Harrisonburg,  VA without the picture -- the title does not describe item functions well - though it seems to me the tint should turn up on the outer ends and not down as it does.

Bridget North Las Vegas,  NV This strip really helps... I ordered the Fog City Quick Tint because, even with a dark smoke faceshield on my helmet, I was still having problems with glare. I have the strip placed about 3 cm from the top edge of my faceshield. It was super easy to install. It really helps cut the glare from the sun, especially when the sun is at a high angle. I squint much less when I ride and have better visibility. I'm glad I got this!

Andy Schuchman Yorba Linda,  CA Fog City Speed Tint I have used similar items in the past that required soapy water for installation and placement. These Fog Cities are a little trickier to install because of the adhesive, but it works really well! Even though it has an adhesive, it is tacky and able to be re-positioned early on before you seat it. I really like this item, and it makes a HUGE difference in your comfort level on sunny days without affecting evening/night vision! Great value as well! Great item!

Joe King Grass Valley,  CA Speed Tint I have put these on both my Arai and my Shoei. I like to use a clear shield and wear sunglasses. These keep the low winter sun out of eyes and cut the glare substantially.
