I love it, but it's definitely for daytime riding. At night, I have to ride with the visor open which defeats the whole purpose of having a visor. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Blue Iridium Shield
I have the blue crusader GM68 helmet and I just had to get the blue iridium shield. This baby looks sweet. If you are the kind of person that can't stand fingerprints on shiny surfaces, you'll be cleaning this thing every time you ride like me, other than that, I can't complain.

GMax Helmet Shield
This shield was an easy 2 minute install and now I can see again! Perfect fit. Lesson learned - I won't use the window squeegee from the gas station to clean my shield (while still wearing the helmet).

Great visor
I got the silver iridium and the dark tint visors. The silver looks great, but is a bit dark at night (even in the city). I have gotten several comments on the helmet since I put it on, and have also had to direct someone to motorcycle superstore so they could buy one!

Perfect fit and clarity
I'm wearing a Gmax 68 FF and this shield fits perfectly. Only downside to these shields is they seem to scratch easily. I bought two just for that reason, bugs get pretty thick here in the summer.

GMax Shield
This is my second shield of this type. It is easy to put on and fits right. My only complaint is that it's easy to scratch when wiping it off but with a little TLC it can be cleaned pretty easily. I made sure the remove it from the helmet to clean it, rinse it off in the sink to remove any dust or bug guts, spray it with some Windex and use a very soft cloth to wipe and dry it.

This shield looks great goes on easy. It doesn’t fit as good as the original but still fits well enough to reduce wind noise. DO NOT wear this shield at dark you cannot see through it. I bought the silver.

Great Look-Clear Vision
I recently purchased a Gmax 68 helmet and wanted a colored shield. My eyes are very light sensitive and I have had trouble with sunglasses under the helmet. The shields are great-amazingly clear and no distortion. Like any coating -they scratch easily and require some care - but the shield bag that came with the helmet works well to protect them. Overall they are a great value - plan to wear through one per season - just like sunglasses, but its harder to break them by sitting on them!!!

Blue irridium shield for Gmax G68S
Not a bad shield, but not the same optics as the clear that comes with the helmet. Shield appears to have a foggy film on it which I can only think comes from the attempt to tint the plastic. Not as foggy as the smoked stock shield, but not nearly as clear as other tinted shields. Price is high at more than 25% of the cost of the entire helmet with 2 shields. After only a few bug splats I already have damage to the coating.

GMAX 38 visor silver iridium
I bought this visor in the middle of summer and it was a lifesaver. Easy to put on, takes about 2 minutes if that and blocks the sun great. Only trouble is how easy it scratches. Rode in the rain first week having it and used a soft towel to dry it off at and several scratches were left in the tint. Otherwise, fast shipping and good product.

doesn't seal right
The shield doesn't seal right on the helmet but looks really sharp. I didn't send it back because I was hard up for a new shield. Good product, just a bad fit.

Fits as good as the original
The one I bought from motorcycle superstore is identical to the original one. The only problem is that the original is not very durable and broke very easy, there's a tiny piece of plastic that connects the shield to the helmet and that plastic is just glued to the shield. If you consider that the helmet cost $50.00 to buy and the replacement shield is $25.00 I just have to brake the shield one more time and then I'll be wishing I had spend an extra few bucks to buy a helmet with a more durable shield in the first place.

You get what you pay for it
Nice looking bike helmet, but the face helmet breaks very easy and the fit is very tight for a large size helmet, if your head size is large you might want to order an extra large on that one. Overall for the price if you are very careful in never dropping it's probably a good deal.

I purchased the clear model when mine broke. The shield is easy to install and has good clarity. Just be carefully handling the helmet because the shield will scratch easily and the plastic shield guide will break if dropped.

Get a mirrored or tinted shield for versatility
I purchased two mirrored shields, one to put a fog shield in for cooler days, and one with no fog shield for summer days. The mirror shield really helps reduce the glare when it's sunny out and is not too dark and not too light. Very good optics on the shields, easy-to-clean, and quite durable. Installation is a snap - well, two snaps. Can't complain. Only thing I wish is that the shields came with a bag.
