90 Watt Jacket Liner
Works great. Only wish they had them in tall sizes.

Heated jacket
I've worn it on nights down in the twenties and needed no more than a thermal shirt underneath, and my leather jacket over. The sleeves aren't as warm as I would like, though.

Firstgear - 90 Watt Heated Liner Jacket
It works as intended. In retrospect I probably could've got away with the 60W one. It fits tight as it should and keeps me nice and warm. I'm using one heat troller to run this and the gloves plugged into its sleeves. With the 60W version I could've adjusted the troller higher to get the gloves warmer. But since the bike has heated grips I can still probably ride into the low 20-s. So far I've used this down to 28F. With the wires zippered away I wear it occasionally as a nice casual jacket, to walk to a store for example. Even then it's warm and comfortable.

The liner fit to size, function well in a test, as for durability I have only tested to this point and have not gone thru a season with it so that is still to be seen. As for cost benefit I am not sure you can put a price on comfort.

90 Watt Heated Liner Jacket
One wouldn't think heated clothing would be necessary in Santa Barbara, Ca. But the early mornings can be in the twenties and thirties. I recently went on a 10-day camping trip on my Yami 1300T and I'm really glad I had the jacket for the first two days as I left SB and ended up at 7300 feet at the Grand Canyon. The jacket really helped, as the early morning and late afternoon rides were done in some cold weather. Did I stay warm? You betcha. Just to see how warm I was, I turned off the gloves and jacket. Immediately, I was colder. I kept the heat on until I was clearly riding in the warmth of the sun. There is no way around it, but the cords can be a nuisance if not managed properly. Happy I had the jacket and gloves. I was concerned about sucking up 90 watts of power, but it had no affect on my battery and charging system at all (V-Star 1300 T). Based on my research, the FirstGear jacket was the way to go and that assessment proved to be true.

Heated Jacket Liner and Gloves
Where the hell has this been all my riding life? It is amazing to have. If you don't get it, you are a schmuck. This is the best gear I've bought over the last 18 years of riding. I will never leave home without it. It will always be in my saddlebags ... just like my American Express card. It fits well and it works! Motorcycle Superstore has been incredible with knowledge and service; they are great to do business with and I totally recommend them.

Heated Jacket Liner (90 Watt)
I bought the liner, Kevlar gloves and dual controller. Toasty warm. All work perfectly. I rode for 2 hours on I-95 yesterday (75mph) in 40 degree weather with my jacket liner and gloves on high. I was toasty warm, just like riding in summer. I've used my gear 5 or 6 times. It must fit snug to work; I use an Under Armor shirt over it to get a snug fit over my entire torso and arms. No strain on my electrical system ('03 HD Road King). Easy to install. A little spendy, but REALLY nice to have. I haven't used the gear in a heavy rain...yet. If it performs as well in a heavy rain as it has so far, it'll be worth every penny to those of us who ride all year.

First Gear 90 Watt Heated Jacket Liner
Heats fast and is warm. Well-designed. Sides of my chest don't seem to get much heat - I'm on a sportbike leaning forward. Works well under my Aerostitch 1-piece Roadcrafter. Used in temps down to 32F/0C.

90 watt heated jacket liner
Warms very quickly. Stays warm even without a windscreen for protection. When using the optional Heat Troller, you can adjust the temperature of the liner for warmer temps.

This is one HOT jacket
OK, fit - spot on for large. Finish and features- tops. Durability - so far so good. I have used this jacket (with long sleeve shirt under and Tour Master Transition jacket over) down to 8 deg. That is a 45 min commute at night, on the Interstate. With the jacket set at 3/4 max I was not cold a bit. I guess you have to live up north to need full power. Consider that when buying the 90 or 60 watt version.

Jacket Liner - Thumbs Up
I have been able to use my liner a few times now. I don’t know why I waited so long to wear heated gear. I will never ride in the cold without it ever again. Thus far, I have only had to turn it up about half way to keep warm. It does take a few minutes to get all the cords lined up (especially with the heated gloves) but it is worth it to stay warm. I recommend this product for anyone looking for a good value in heated equipment. I got the dual controller and gloves. Great setup for the cold weather.

Heater liner jacket
I probably should have gotten the next size larger, it is very tight, but it works great, I ride with the Legion Riders, and the only time we don't ride is on ice or snow. Our weather in Kansas gets quite cold sometimes, but the jacket keeps me nice and warm.

BRING ON THE COLD!!!
It took me years before I finally caved and bought the heated stuff. Price adds up quick when you start figuring heat trollers, liners and all the cords and power source concerns. But in the end, it buys me months of additional use of my bikes. We finally had a sunny day where I could test the gear, and I'm happy to report it works like a dream. Prior to having the heated gear, my limit was 45 degrees - and that was with several layers that made me feel bulky. Today I rode in 25 degrees with only two layers and even jeans (!) and was toasty, even at highway speeds. For the first time in my life I'm not concerned about the cold season. Nothing beats warm-weather riding, but if you live where it gets cold, and you've got to ride to keep your sanity, then this is definitely a worthwhile investment!

Firstgear - 90 Watt Heated Liner Jacket
This along with a heat controller is the heart of my new heated system. I like the fit which works well under my leather jacket. It's nice and warm and in fact should probably be used with a dual heat controller so that heat to the gloves can be maxed out and the liner set only part way. I'm glad I bought this heated liner so far.

A dream come true
No need in waiting for this jacket to warm before riding, instantly hot and plenty of warmth, on a 30 degree day I only needed 50% of the total output to keep plenty warm

Great liner..but needs a lot of power
I have a Suzuki DL1000. This 90 watt liner and similar heated gloves does take some juice. However, unless your heat troller is all the way on all the time, I don't suspect there will be a large issue, unless your using a smaller bike. I agree with the other reviewer to shut down the stuff 5-10mins away from home (or at least turn it down) as to allow the battery to charge. You want this fitting somewhat snug, and they have elastic to accommodate that. Excellent product!

Works Great, but battery drain
I have zero complaints about the liner. Driving to work at early mornings with frost on the ground and I am toasty. I usually just have a T-shirt on with the liner and my leather jacket. The only problem that I have found so far is that in conjunction with the gloves, it takes a pretty good drain on your standard battery. My suggestion is when you are about 5 minutes from your destination is to either turn off the unit or just simply unplug it so that your battery has an opportunity to recharge before the bike being shut off.

warm liner
I got the 90 watt for Christmas and have ridden when in the twenties and have been warm. I wear large shirts, jackets etc so I ordered large and the fit was snug but wearable. It fit great over a t-shirt and thick henley.

Heated Liner Jacket
Great jacket, SUPER WARM. Easy to hook up to your bike. Make sure you have ordered any extra parts you might need when you place the order originally. Fit's really good and easy to detach when you get off your bike. Really a wise choice and good investment for any of us who ride where its cold a couple of months a year.
