Comfortable enough, but after trying them on with a new pair of boots and wearing them for a few minutes the threads started to pull out and the material was pilling. Perhaps it was a pair from a bad batch, but I returned them - I expect A LOT more from a pair of ~ $20 socks. MS gave me no issue when returning them.

Very comfortable and soft socks. I find them to be a bit on the warm side, but that may just be the boots I have. No problems with doing long rides in them.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but they have worked good so far. I was concerned about the thinner material used in the majority of them but were very comfortable under a pair of riding boots. Durability is questionable but only time will time.

For my first two pairs of motorcycle boots, I didn't know which socks would fit best so I bought four different pairs. These Alpinestars fit well with my tighter-fitting short boots that I wore around the house inside to break in. I washed them once so far in cold water and line-dried them and they retained their shape nicely.

For the price of these socks, it's a great purchase, especially when you are wearing full length boots. Comfortable for the short ride and/or long rides. Summer/Spring/fall socks.

Love these socks. Pricey but worth every penny. Wear them year round from the 90's to the 40's and my feet stay comfy and dry.

These are advertised as summer/wicking socks but after wearing them for a 5 hour day of 85+ degree riding under riding boots my toes had that prune look (like I had been in the bath too long) and as a result of this moisture build up developed a minor blister under one of the balls of my feet. Perhaps these are not truly for the summer! On the flip side, they are very comfortable, help reduce fatigue, and I am sure they will be perfect for cooler days. Regarding care, they can only be washed on delicate and air dried so if you want to wash and wear them on consecutive days that is NOT an option and you should buy 2 pairs. I would buy them again.

Like all A*, fit, finish, and durability seem to be top notch, these socks are both warm in the rain and cool weather and they perform even better in hot weather, I absolutely love these
