A great winter suit
I live in Northern California where the winters are wet and cold. I have been wearing it the last few weeks in 30 degree weather with nothing but my street clothes on underneath and was very comfortable, No layers upon layers of thermal underwear and 2 jackets needed underneath. I have a 45 minute commute and it was about 45 degrees and raining, it was a downpour and I stayed completely dry. When I got home, I toweled off the suit so I wouldn't drip all over the house and the suit was dry! This is an excellent suit for the price.

One Piece Riding Suite
I live in Omaha and was looking for a Riding Suit that would allow me to ride a little longer before it got too cold. I commute 16 miles one way to work. I had been looking for a suit but they were all over $500.00 and that was more than I wanted to spend. My suit arrived very quickly and I was impressed with the overall appearance and quality. I tried it out on Saturday on a chilly, overcast day and it performed exactly as I expected. I would certainly recommend this suit if you want a good quality product without spending a lot.

I travel about 60 miles to work in Indiana. This suit was really nice on a cold November morning (35 degrees) with a wind chill at 65mph probably below (30 degrees). I usually don't make comments about products like this but I had to because this is a great one.

This is one fine suit for the money I feel
There are plenty of more expensive winter riding suits out there but for the money this is a true keeper. I haven't had it long enough to know what the durability is going to be like but it seems well made to me. I have put 3k on my bike since I got this suit and have been completely comfortable in this suit with only a shirt and jeans in temps down to the high 30's. I am looking forward to seeing how it does in the teens. I might have to put on a sweater but I'm thinking I will be comfortable in just about any temp with this suit. I drove 600 miles in this suit a week ago in the mid 40's with only one stop and never got cold except for the back of my neck a bit. I haven't been in a totally wash out rain wise yet in this suit but the rain I was in didn't get through. The worst for me is to get off the bike after a long ride in the rain and be dry everywhere but in the seat of my pants. So far no water getting through on that front. I feel this was a good value. I got a XL and it is just a bit long in the legs but when seated it doesn't ride up my boots so I am liking that. I am 210 and 5'10" if that helps anyone else size this suit up for them. I can ride almost all year in this suit and stay warm I am sure.

Great buy!
I too am very satisfied with this suit. I am 5'8" 173 lbs. and went with a large. Fits great. Realize it is fitted to wear street clothes underneath and layering for really cold weather. It fits great especially in the riding position. Has sticky rubber band on pant leg-this stayed snug and sealed on my short over the ankle motorcycle boots at highway speeds. I was quite impressed. Does everything I need it do and more.

Great Cold Weather Apparel!
I was skeptical about buying one of these suits due to previously using Insulated Coveralls from a Local Department Store. Wind would still go straight through the Coveralls. Boy was I wrong. This Suit blocks ALL of the wind from getting to your skin and the Thermo Insulation keeps you warm. I ride at midnight from work and this suit is amazing.

I highly recommend this suit. I rode it from NY to Toronto and back. In 40 degrees at highway speeds I was very comfortable. It does run long. It is also waterproof tested and passed. A great suit.

If you plan on riding this Winter...BUY ONE!
This thing does a GREAT job! I commute 20 miles one way to work at 5:00am. 39 degrees at 60mph and I was good to go. I'm 5'6" and 145lbs. I bought the MEDIUM and it fits great. Outta the box it looked HUGE..so don't let that deceive you. I gave it a 4 for features. It needs pockets. You only get one on the upper right chest. Other than that...GREAT job, Firstgear! And two thumbs up to Motorcycle SS. The standard delivery was really fast!

Lock out the cold
I got this unit for fall riding and the waterproof feature. The past weekend, I was riding and the weather turned real cold (35 F). Riding 150 miles at 75 MPH would have been unbearable without this suit. Was almost too warm. If someone is looking for a thermal suit to stay dry and warm, this is the suit for you. You will not be disappointed.

Firstgear Riding Suit
This suit is extremely warm and waterproof. We live in SC but our families live in PA. One trip we made was in pouring rain for about 11 of the 13 hours it took. The riding suit kept us warm and dry. I highly recommend this product. My husband accidentally touched his leg to the pipes on his bike....melted it. I sewed a piece of leather on the inside of the right leg. Covered the melt and protected it from any further damage. A friend did the same thing to his. I would suggest the company consider making the inside right leg a little sturdier. Other than that this is an excellent riding suit....

Great commute gear
This piece is perfect for a person like me who rides home from work @3am. Cold nights are no more, and I do not worry about showers (except downpours). The fit is kinda weird walking around, but I don't really do it in this suit. I've found myself using this suit more often than I intended, Great deal!

The suit was tagged size medium but the fit was at least L, maybe XL. I did wear it on a cold ride and it worked well. Get the leg guards. You will need them on a cruiser.

First Gear Thermo One-Piece Suit Needs Improvements
It needs to have zippered vents for cooling as the day warms up. Otherwise it's pretty good for its price range. It isn't an Aerostich Roadcrafter, but it only costs about 1/6th of the Aerostich one-piece. You get what you pay for.

VERY NICE
A little long in the legs, but I can easily make-do. I'm warmer on my Harley than I am in my car (before it warms up). I really love this suit! Supple in all the right places without bunching-up. Quick and easy on/off, and I just cable lock it to the seat of my bike. Thanks!

After reading all the reviews about this suit I ordered one for myself. This is one of the best suits I have ever had that would keep me warm and dry. It's lightweight and very comfortable. All I ever wear under it is a sweater. Here in Seattle the winters are cold and very damp. This suit is just the ticket for this area.

Great piece of gear
This is the best investment that I have made. The suit is great. We headed out for Daytona Bike Week and it was 28 degrees here and the only thing that was cold was my hands and feet. The suit worked much better than I imagined. If you were to buy one piece of gear to keep you warm on cold days then this should be it!

Good suit
This is a good suit. It sized a little big (I got a large, and boy was it). It has lots of neat features and 3M reflection. It feels a little cheap in the nylon department. It is warm and will keep you dry! I've worn it in the cold and wet around freezing. No problems. The price was right! :)

I bought this suit to make it easier for me to dress for my 30 minute ride to work. And I no longer have to wear my snow suit and heavy duty coat. This suit worked as stated. I where sweat pants and a T-shirt and I stay warm and this was done in 26 degree weather. I look forward to the day when I can ride in 15 degree weather. But that will have to wait until Nov 2009. I've already recommended this suit to other riders. And at that price, it's a great deal.

From the price I figured it must be flimsy but its actually a well constructed piece of gear. I'm 5' 11'' and weigh about 255 lbs. and the XL was a perfect fit! I tested it on a 30 degree day and I was warm as toast! Just make sure you get a face and/or neck warmer and wear two pairs of socks :)

Very Good Buy
The suit is very warm at 34 degrees, I was comfortable. Have not worn it in the rain. I am 5'6" and weight 170lbs. A small is to tight around the waist but it is a good fit in length. The medium fit around the waist but is about 4"s to long. I wish that the suit came in a short length. If it did it would be perfect

Firstgear One Piece is the Only Piece
I’m in the Military and am required to work out every morning. So I ride in a pair of running shorts, and a pullover long sleeve under my one piece. I rode in a dry 16 degree day the other morning and was just as warm after my 20 mile ride than I was before I left my house. And believe me; I have plenty of cold weather issue gear. Anyway, I believe in riding year round and if you don't buy another piece of cold weather gear, this should be the one. This is my second suit as my first was a large and a bit big on me. Other than the neck being a little small, this is the best and only piece of gear I will ride in on a cold, wet day. PERIOD!!!!!!

Pretty awesome, actually.
As someone else said, there are no clasps at the bottom of the pant legs, and the elastic is quite strong so i can see how the zippers might travel up. Its sort of a pain to zipper both legs down if donning the suit with boots on, but not unmanageable...and way worth it.
Second, the arms are about 2” to short for me. Luckily i bought this to go UNDER a Joe Rocket Ballistic jacket...but I’m sure it only fits under there because the Joe Rocket is a bit big for me. In the suits defense...i am 6'5” and have quit long arms. Rarely do I find gear that fits my arms just right.
Beyond that, this suit is awesome. I’ve been bone dry in the heaviest of rain out here. Nice and warm in 30 degree weather, and the easy to access pockets make this even nicer. The price tag was scary at first...but i feel this suit will hold up nicely for the winter rider. Built quality feels very solid, and i don’t fear anything really breaking or tearing at all.

I love it! I chose a large because of the reviews I read. It was a good choice. I am 5'9" and 200 lbs. when I pulled it from the box I thought I would have to send it back. It looked huge. It fit perfectly. It stays down on my boots and doesn't come up when I straddle the bike as previous rain gear did. I can keep my boots on to dawn the suit and also to remove it. It keeps me dry, it keeps me warm. It’s been in the 30s here, I just wear a sweat shirt and jeans under it. I'm very well satisfied.

Great suit, I had a chance to wear it in the low 30s with only short sleeve shirt and thin slacks and was perfectly comfortable. I'm 5'10 and due to being 230 lbs ordered the X-Large. I should have ordered the large for a better fit. Good thing I have a large trunk as this suit is bulky to store and rolls up like a sleeping bag.

It is EXTREMELY well insulated, so much so that I can really only wear it in cold temps - I haven't worn it in the rain yet because it hasn't rained. From all appearances this suit will keep out the water. It definitely keeps out the wind. I can literally wear it with nothing more than boxers and go for an 80mph ride in 30 degree weather. Love it!

I was impressed with the high quality and low price of this suit. I live in the central valley of California and it gets cold and foggy here. I took the suit for a test run and found it to be very warm, comfortable and kept me dry. My only issue I had with it was it was a little baggie, but I am 5'7”, so that is the problem. If you are tall, then you won't have this issue. I recommend this suit very much. I was able to comparison shop, but everything was very expensive. Lastly, you can wear light clothing underneath, you will be very warm.

Best winter riding option, wear on top of leathers
I'm 5'10", about 175lbs, ordered a Large to wear on top of my regular leathers. Not too bulky. My commute is fairly short and the suit did great in 32F weather. Only issue I have as far as fit is that the suit does not have a lot of room in the arms. Plenty of room everywhere else. Also, keep it away from hot pipes. Otherwise, best option for winter riding for me.

The Thermo One-Piece Suit works far better than anything that I have tried. Best value on the market, by far.
Be careful about the sizing. I am 6 ft. 4 in. and weight 230 lbs. I wear a Large (I wish the legs were 1 inch longer). I first ordered a 2XL and it was HUGE! Reordered the Lare and it fits good.

With the mornings now in the 40's, my commute of 22 miles at 6am was getting a little nippy. Thermals were not cutting it. I purchased this suit after my brother had purchased one and recommended it.
In case this helps someone else, I am a 5'5" female and the medium works well for me. A little extra room, and the suit is an easy on/off right over my street clothes. VERY warm. No extra layers necessary. Nice! Very satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommended.

FirsteGear Thermo riding suit
The First Gear Thermo suit was suggested by a friend for cold weather riding. The size large suit I purchased fit me great as I am 5'9" and weight 170 lbs. The ability to keep me warm while riding in 20 and 30 degree weather is great with a couple of normal layers underneath (denim & under armor). I would like locking Velcro jeans style front pockets located in the pants area of the suit for placement of keys. As the suit is now you have the chest pocket to place keys, etc. The suit is a great value and is waterproof and windproof as I have ridden in rain on the interstate in 30 degree temps. A little bulky to stow but a great deal for winter riding.

A must have for a serious rider.
Well, agree with most of the guys. The suit is just awesome. If it does not snow I ride. I ride all year around. I rode in 20 degrees weather. The suit will keep you warm and comfortable. I usually add balaclava for maximum comfort. Size wise - it’s huge. I usually wear size 32-33, 5'10'' tall. Bought large size first and almost sank in it. Exchanged it for size M - just perfect. Go a size smaller if you have regular body.

Great Suit
This is the second FIRSTGEAR Thermo one-piece-suit that I have owned. You can ride in winter weather and you will be warm. In the past I used to wear long johns, then warm up pants, then my blue jeans on top of all that and still froze. It’s called wind chill factor. The wind will not go through the suit so all you do is wear regular clothes under it. It will keep you warm. I love it. Try one and you will be sold and happy as I am riding all year around.

Good to go
A little snug for me, I fit a nice loose 34" waste and I'm 5'11". The suit just fits and it's a medium. I think I would go with a large if I had it to do over again. The height is an exact fit which means if you wear your work clothes underneath it's going to feel a little tight. I use the suit to commute and even though the arms and legs are plenty long enough... even a bit longer than need be; the Torso section could be 1-2 inches taller to be absolutely perfect in every way.

Very warm... but!
Pros: Definitely keeps you warm and does a great job at high speeds in temps lower than 40 degrees. Easy to get into and out of for a one-piece.
Cons: The neck collar could be a bit taller to help cover the underside of your chin. The baggy legs kind of catch the wind, but all in all; it's a nice suit.
Additional Sizing Notes: It's very large and you wouldn't be able to store it on a bike. You'll have to wear it all day including if you wanted to eat in a restaurant or go into a store. A bit baggy and heavy, but if it gets real cold; there is enough room inside to wear layers of clothing. However, on a short ride; less than an hour or so; you will probably not want to wear it.
Also, if you aren’t careful; it will burn and melt on your hot pipes!

I rode today first time with my suit on I left home at 9.00am at around 20 degrees F. rode 60 miles and never got cold. Average speed around 65 mph. Almost perfect
This suit keeps me warm - that's what I'd hoped for. I rode 20 miles at midnight in 20 degree weather with jeans and a long sleeve shirt under the suit without having the first cold chill. I haven't worn it in the rain but it's good to know the suit will help when I get caught. The only concern is the lack of heat proof material to avoid melting on the exhaust system. I have 3 friends who have tried mine on and are considering buying. Thanks for a good product at a good price.

Well I only used the suit once, but a large is very large. But I'd rather it be to big than to small. I used it once and it was really warm, but I'm not sure what the temp was at the time but I ended up sweating quite a bit. Over all if you get the correct size I think it would be a great buy.

The Good the Bad no Ugly
I wanted this because I commute very early in the morning (4:30am) to catch a ferry and it was starting to get a bit nippy last month. The suit is very nice for this purpose keeping me very warm without the need to have an electric vest or jacket. I like not having to have cords hanging around. It works so well that I have started to take a lighter jacket to ride back home in the afternoon with because it is too hot with this suit. I have had to ride in heavy rain and this suit, true to its word, kept me dry and comfortable. I would highly recommend it to any serious rider that hates riding cold. One drawback is that the legs are too long for the torso. Being a one piece it needs to be easy to pull your arm out of so I got the XXL after getting stuck in the XL. But the legs are long enough for Yao Ming!!! They just bag up and make a loud sound as I walk on the ferry :( Otherwise a great buy! Plan to get one for my son when he comes home from college.

First Gear Thermo Winter riding suit
I had a friend who told me about this Thermo suit from First Gear Company. I purchased one of these suits and have ridden with temps in the low twenty's with only a couple of layers underneath. I am about 5'8" and 170 lbs and the Large is a great fit. I purchased the Medium size suit first after reading some of the other reviews and the medium was way too small to have anything other than a single layer underneath. I have not been in the rain as of yet but have ridden through fog and damp cold mornings in the low 30's. The suit is a little bulky to stow, but when you’re in temps that are real cold you need this type of gear. A great improvement over a leather jacket and chaps while riding my Harley to work. I recommend this suit to anyone who rides below 50 degrees.

Thermo Suit
Only complaint, really needs heat shield on legs. Melted the right leg on my pipes, an '09 Ultra Classic. Sizing seems a bit big but that might be a plus depending on layering. Ample length and plenty warm by itself. Ride to work in a polo shirt, 40 degrees and raining. Again, needs heat shield on legs.

I bought this suit for the colder rainy days. I decided to try it at 60 degrees on a dry morning for my 25 mile trip to work. Had to unzip to cool down. It rained a couple of days later and at 50 degrees and raining I was dry and warm.
It's definitely a cold weather suit and you will stay dry. Fairly easy to get in and out of. Bulky to pack and carry but well worth it if it gets cold and rainy.

I have ridden in a heavy down pour at about 40 degrees for 45 minutes and was completely dry and warm. On a previous trip without the rain and betweeen 25-30 degrees I started to feel a little chill after about 30 minutes, but I was only wearing a t-shirt and shorts under the suit. Toasty Warm in below freezing temps...
This suit has already paid for itself in fuel savings. I ride a sportbike 60 miles a day, everyday, up until there is a real hazard of icing conditions on the roads in the North East. I rode to work earlier this week when it was 28 degrees F in the morning... the dew was frozen all over my bike, and all I had on was a sweatshirt, jeans, and this suit... and I didn't really even need the sweatshirt. Awesome warmth, good fit, comfortable. I'm 5'6” , 172 lbs. (I'm muscular, not chubby... 30” waist)and I bought a medium... it seems a little long in the inseam (I'm a 30”; inseam) but once you snug up the velcro all the way down the legs, it conforms and fits well. (I'd guess you could be a slim 35”; inseam and still fit into this size.) I haven't tried it in the rain, so I can't vouch for the waterproof claims... but I can't imagine it leaking any wear. I would certainly buy another one of these.

Totally negates weather as a factor.
Can't say enough about this suit for Winter Riding and especially commuting. Got it a couple days back. Very well made, easy on and off even with boots. 120 grams of Thinsulate (half as much as most snowmobile suits) makes it feel not bulky at all. Legs are cut long for plenty of coverage while seated, and looks to be the most waterproof suit I have ever had. Certainly more than my Tourmaster one piece.
Anyway, rode it in the last two mornings on my morning commute which is done at 0615. Temp yesterday was 30.2 and 27 degrees today. I wore the suit with only slacks and polo shirt underneath and was toasty warm the entire 35 miles.
This suit has totally negated outside temps and made cold weather riding fun again.

Worth the investment
Pro:
Great suite for the NW weather. I rode in heavy rain and temperatures around 35-40F. I was warm and dry. Over 55F the suite feels (too) warm.
I first got L size and it was too large (I am 5' 10” about 140lbs). Medium size was the right one.
Cons:
It is not armored though. For some it could be a drawback.

Great Value
Only used the suit a hand full of mornings thus far, but has proven to be everything advertised. It is warm and dry without being overly bulky. great suit
As most others have mentioned, the legs are long but that is much better than being too short. I ordered a Large to make sure I had room for clothing underneath. I am 160lbs, 5'10" and wear 32x32 pants. The legs are long and snug, the torso is a bit tall for me too, but it is not bad at all. I have ridden at 32 degrees and was warm as could be under the suit. I also rode home at around 72 degrees and was not overly HOT. Very comfortable and has a very good range of temperatures to wear.

Great Suit
I love this suit! 20 mile commute in driving rain and no leaks. Only complaint is no pass through to get to pockets/ wallet. Understanding it would compromise the ability to keep out water but if you forget to put your wallet in the pocket provided and leave it in your pants, it’s hard to retrieve. I am 5'9. The legs on the medium suit are a bit long, otherwise no complaints, worth the money.

Best bang for your buck!
After reading other reviews, I purchased this suit. I was a little skeptical of the performance based on the relatively low price. I also ordered the size based on reviews here.
FIT:
It fit somewhat loosely and is fairly easy to put on. It also has enough velcro to custom fit it to suit my taste. No air gets past this suit...anywhere
FINISH:
The material is not particularly "cool" looking. It does look well made and so far holds up nicely. I haven't noticed any problem areas or flaws in the way it's constructed.
DURABILITY:
On an average day I take on and take off this suit atleast twice. No noticeable signs of wear. In fact, it still looks brand new.
FEATURES:
It does as advertised. No leaks, keeps me dry AND warm. Has enough outer pockets to store whatever I may need to use while wearing it, without having to undo and dig inside.
COST BENEFIT:
Much cheaper than buying raingear and warm gear separately.
OVERALL:
I love this thing. I don't worry about the rain or the cold in the "off" season anymore. To date, I've ridden in a 37 degree steady rain and the suit wasn't my concern. My more expensive winter waterproof gloves were the weak link and caused some wet fingertips. Now if I can just get the right pair of gloves, I'll be ready for anything mother nature can throw at me...short of frozen precipitation.

26 degrees and I'm warm!
This suit is awesome! I rode today here at Lake Tahoe in 26 degree weather, at 7000 feet above sea level, for an hour +. I was nice and warm the entire time, not even a hint of cooling off whatsoever. I'm amazed at the suit, very impressed. Now I need to find gloves that can perform this well.

Good suit
Fit is a bit large even for a big guy like me. I'm six foot 240lbs and the 2Xl is a bit too long even when you account for extra material needed for comfort on the bike. Still it performs great and I'm glad I have it for my early morning daily commute. The only thing that would make it better is removable armor.

The service from motorcycle superstore was nothing but outstanding!! I rode in the suit for the first time today. I was toasty warm on my 100 mile commute to work in 48F weather. I have already recommended this suit to two other riders. I am going to purchase another one just to have an extra. Thanks again MC Superstore!!!!!!!!!!

Great suit
A little warm just roll the sleeves back little, legs little long but when Velcro shut works well. I got to say I love this suit it keeps me warm and dry! This suit works well for me, I’m 5'10", 170lb, waist 34", wear med-Shirt, 69" reach, pants inseam is 31". I think even if you where few inches longer in the reach or the legs it would still work for you.

15deg Weather suit!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SUIT! I'm 6'4, 345lbs with a 50inch waist. Other than being a little long in the legs and short in the torso, it fits great even over a sweatshirt. The coldest day I wore it, the temp outside standing still was 15 degrees! And it kept me very comfortable on my 42 mile commute to work. I've been so pleased with the thermo suit that, as I can, I'm switching my other riding gear to Firstgear, mainly my rain gear as after one year it has started to get holes in the pvc shell.

Thermo rainsuit
Actually I was in the market for a rain suit because I'm tired of getting wet when I ride. A friend of mine said this was the best one he had ever bought. It is very warm and all I have had to wear under it is shorts and t-shirt and never got cold, I ran in one rain storm and never got wet from the rain, but It is way too hot for where I live when summer comes I wont be able to use it. I wish the thermo portion zipped out of the suit then I would have the best of both worlds.

Great Suit
WOW!!! The day I got the suit, the weather here in OKC was 55 degrees with a 20-30 MPH wind. Later, it got down into the 40's with rain, so I got a good feel for the suit. I was very happy to have the suit that night and have worn it several times since. I usually have to wear multi layers to stay warm, but with this suit I wear T-shirts and normal jeans to stay comfortable, but at 70 degrees you have to lose the suit. I can now ride on the cold and wet days that I used to park my bike in favor of my car. Thanks for a great suit.

I was looking for a suit that I can have for the cold night and morning rides and this one is the best. It fit just right and it was very warm at 37f in the morning. The size large really fit me well; I’m 6' 186lb. Thank you.

Great Suit
I have been using the suit for two months driving to work in 35-45 degree temperatures. The suit keeps me warm without a coat on. I have also used it in moderate amounts of rain for short periods of time and it has kept me dry. Fit and finish are great. If the temperatures get into the mid 50's the suit becomes a little too warm when it's completely zipped up.

Awesome suit.
Before I purchased the suit, I read the reviews and did a lot of investigating. I am 5' 4" 155. I ordered a medium. It fits well everywhere except around the belly. It’s a little tight there. There is no need to wear anything underneath except maybe a sweat shirt. It has excellent zippers with overlapping velcro. Haven’t tried it in the rain yet, but can't see how anything could get past all of that. Get one if you haven't already...

Great Buy
I rode for 5 hours in the cold rain and stayed dry and warm. That's what I was looking for and couldn't be happier with the performance. I consider this suit a great buy for this price. In terms of fit, is definitely cut for a man and although it fit well enough it is not designed for a woman's curves--but it still worked out fine. I totally recommend it if you want to stay warm and dry.

Great riding suit overall, super warm, looks and fits great. Only complaint is having to undo top section to reach items in pants pockets,(wallet, keys, etc.). Could use an additional flap, zipper access or the like to access clothing pockets worn under the suit.

Great buy!
The only reason I didn’t give this item a perfect 5 rating is because riding my Harley I had to add some leather to the inseam so it didn’t touch my pipes. But an easy fix, thanks to the store I bought it at to recommend! Other than that, a great deal! But I hope First gear changes the next design and adds leather or a sewed to the inner legs. Just a thought it would be a better feature, better for durability which makes a better finish! But still a happy customer.

I’m satisfied with the suit. I’ve used it in a variety of conditions (wet, cold, gusty). It performed as I hoped. I’ve never owned a high dollar suit so I can’t compare. Safe to say, I never will. No reason to, this suit is a great functional bargain.

Great Suit, Great buy
This is actually the second of this suit that I have purchased. I had used the previous suit for almost 4 years and wore out the zippers since I ride year round and used it a lot. It stays comfortable down into the 20's and 30's. Plenty of pockets to store keys and wallet. Was amazing in the wet weather too, the covered zippers help keep you dry.

When I got to my destination, I was dry and warm with the exception of my hands, but the suit performed flawlessly. Great Cold Weather Suit
I wore this suit on a 13,000 mile trip through all 48 contiguous states and then to Alaska. It performed perfectly in heavy rain and cold. Only drawbacks are that it is too hot to wear in temperatures above 55 degrees and it needs an access flap for heated vest wiring.

Like all my Firstgear stuff, this is great. I read one of the reviews that said to order a size larger so you could wear clothing under the suit. I ordered the XL and it was way big. I had to send it back and order a Large. Fits great now. Really warm and waterproof. I have been waiting for weather cold enough to need additional clothing under it. If I need additional clothing, I'll just add some thin electric stuff.

Good suit. Warm and comfy.
I bought this suit for winter riding in California's Bar Area region. It doesn’t get real cold here, with a really bitter day (by our soft standards) being anything that's below 35 F. That in mind, it's been rather nippy out, and this suit is just great. I use it to commute to work, rain or shine, and it keeps the water and the cold at bay. I bought a size medium, to fit over my gear (small), and I think this was a good call. It fits over everything just fine. However, it's a bit tight around the shoulders, and if you have broad shoulders, you have to hunch a bit to accommodate it. This hasn’t been a problem, but it's something to keep in mind for people who ride upright (cruisers and tourers). It's very warm, though, and at one point I was riding through a rainstorm at night, and wishing I had fewer layers on, because I was starting to sweat. So yes, it's a good suit, and if you're going to buy it, buy a size larger than you normally wear, because you can then put gear on under it.

Great Suit
I call this the super suit, it really makes winter riding enjoyable. I have ridden at night in the rain at about 36deg and felt quite comfy. The only thing I wish they would do differently is maybe put a high heat type material on the inside of the legs to keep you from damaging the suit. The suit is puffy down on my ankles and my pipe is down there also. I slightly singed the bottom right leg cuff on my suit, if it had some sort of higher heat material it may save you from damaging your suit. But really the suit is great.

One-piece thermo suit
My wife bought this suit as an early birthday present. Suit is so huge, it is actually harder to carry it than wear it. Fit is good once on, however, despite its oversize. The finish is nice, and I trust the durability is as well, and it has been so far, keeping me warm and dry whether it's been upper 20s and dry or mid-40s and raining. Features are a little hard to address, because other than keeping the rider warm and dry, what else should it do? I like the velcro straps on the sleeves and cuffs, and it has a fair if albeit underwhelming number of pockets.

Firstgear is the best
I would give this item a five across the board if it had a heat shield and more pockets. It kept me very comfortable in 30-50 degree weather on multiple rides and I didn't have a jacket on. The fit doesn't allow for a heavy jacket underneath. It is not cut for a woman at all, so ladies beware of the sizing...I would say got if you got hips go one size bigger. Overall, it is the best thing out there for the best price and is well worth the money.

Weather is no problem now.
I am 6'1” and 200 lbs. I thought that an XL would have been the right size but was wrong, a LG was a near perfect fit, maybe even a little too big. It sags a bit in the mid which makes it a look a little baggy. On the road it is perfect. Very little to no wind gets through this thing. I have to be careful to put it on just prior to leaving the house otherwise I overheat within minutes. I have ridden in weather down to 25 degrees with nothing other than a t-shirt underneath and have remained warm. Just got home an hour ago, it was raining like mad outside. I am perfectly dry. The seal around the neck and leg cuff is perfect. The seal around the wrist can allow a little wind and cold to that area. A set of good gloves will take care of this. Overall, I think this thing is awesome, it was just what I was looking for.

This is the second thermo suit that I have owned. The first one lasted about 4yrs. It keeps you warm and dry on cold rainy days. I rode around 13 miles to work in 28-30 degree weather and kept warm. Warm and comfortable
I've worn this suit a few times when it's been in the 30's, and I'm totally warm. To help with sizing, I'm a slim 5'8", 140lb, w/ a 32" waist and inseam. Small is perfect. The leg length is good and it hugs my skinny legs with no looseness. Arm length is good without being tight and it's really comfortable in a sit-up riding position. I haven't ridden in the rain or snow, but for cold, it's what I've been needing. It's a thick suit, but without armor. I think it could use a 'hole' near the waist

I had a similar Wheels of Man suit for about 20 years (it finally wore out). Having a suit like this is the best money you'll ever spend on yourself. It's actually possible to cruise at night at freeway speeds with temps in the 30s and be *comfortable*, not just be able to tolerate the cold. If you want to stay toasty warm and dry riding in any condition, then buy this suit. I have one and I love it. I know it doesn't get real cold here in SanFran, but I can assure you I would be comfy riding anywhere with this suit on.
