Icon Squad II Mil-Spec Pack

The revolutionary Squad2 Mil-Spec Orange backpack meets all military requirements for high visibility motorcycle PPE. Actually the Squad2 Milspec Orange backpack not only meets the military’s requirements but exceeds them by adding unique upper arm straps for increased visibility. Which is to say you can wear the Squad Milspec backpack instead of a reflective vest. As for the backpack itself, it features unique comfort-fit chest closure system has two objectives: to allow for a greater coverage area of reflective and brightly colored material while also securing the backpack in a way that is far superior to standard shoulder straps when riding.

But the technical marvels don’t stop there. Specifically a secure 15" laptop carry compartment, a mp3 player / cell phone compartment with ear bud cord management system, and an extra ProShield™ storage pocket. In addition, port and starboard wing compartments are designed for tool and first aid storage. When off the bike, the Squad2 is configured to deploy a helmet storage compartment and has several tie-down straps allowing for riding jackets and gloves to be secured. All of this results in a highly-specialized riding specific pack system with the appearance of a high-altitude jump rig.

Rob I Knightdale,  NC Icon - Squad II Mil-Spec Pack I purchased this for my son who is headed to college soon. Both he and I really like the manner in which you strap/secure the pack to you. When wearing the pack you maintain full freedom of movement. My son really likes all the storage that it offers especially the laptop pocket. I like the fact that the pack is brightly colored with lots of reflective material for safety. Couldn't beat the price and the quality looks to be better than his current backpack (Eastpak or Jansport - I don't remember the exact brand) which doesn't offer as much storage or the rider specific features (integrated helmet bag, ability to easily attach your riding jacket to the pack, etc)

stacey ellsworth,  ME Icon - Squad II Mil-Spec Pack-Awesome Thank you! I ordered this for my husband for Christmas. Not sure what to expect, I tried it on with ease. I then looked at the stitching and the overall quality of the pack. I found it to be tough enough to withstand what my husband can put it though. The many reflectors will make him more visible during the night and he can carry what he needs to be safe. Thank you again for the peace of mind. I would say "yes" to anyone thinking of purchasing this product. Visibility and safety are what you get from the pack.

Rommel FPO,  AP Great Product The designers of the Icon-Squad II Mil-Spec Pack thought of everything. Not only does it look good, it carries everything I need while riding my motorcycle. The visibility of the pack is great. Some drivers have the tendency to knock bike riders over because they can't see them. With this pack they have no excuse.

J. Tampa,  FL Base access Despite previous reviews claiming that only Orange is permitted, this is not a universal rule apparently. The strictest regulations governing my base require only "brightly-colored" upper garments during the day, but add "Reflective properties" to the requirements for dark. This product surpasses both. The point is that one should check their base's requirements before purchasing.

Aaron Jones Killeen,  TX Great Pack Nice pack for military bases you only need this pack to get on post, no vest needed, asked the MPs if this is suitable (pack only-no vest) they checked it out and gave it a thumbs up (orange only for military, all other high vis colors not allowed on post). This pack does ride low I will say that, I’m 5'8 to 5'9 and ride a unmodified 08 CBR 1K. and the pack hits the seat. Wish they would have made that part adjustable. But I’m sure if you take it to a good sew shop they can shorten the straps an inch or 2. I would and have recommended this pack to someone looking to buy a pack. Highly reflective and very visible...IE don’t blast by cops with this on.. you will be seen. Now that its winter I switch visors (smoke to clear) for the ride home. A lot of pouches for this and that, and as someone already said easy to pack and unpack. Very well thought out all in all.... owned the pack for about 4 months now, and I’m a daily rider. RIDE SAFE

M. Silva Visalia,  CA Awesome product. I'm on my 2nd Backpack (sold my other one to my buddy) and love it. I can carry anything I need from extra clothing for the cold ride home, drink system, etc... I can be seen from a good distance at night with all the reflective material. The fellow motorcyclists on my base have asked where to by one. This bag is by far the most comfortable backpack I've owned. I was really disappointed to see the 2009 models DO NOT have the pouch for the extra visor (well at least mine doesn't) because 50% of my riding is at night and not having the extra pouch made me have to pack my bag differently to accommodate for the loose visor so it wouldn't get scratched...Other than that this bag is awesome...So awesome that I’ve thought about buying the black one for when I'm not riding to and from base...

Ricardo Miami,  FL Very Nice but Too Heavy I think the back is comfortable, with a lot of features; but I think is very heavy, I have to get use to it but after two weeks of use it my back some times hurt me. Another nice thing about the bag is resist very good the rain.
