Great Suit!

I love this suit for several reasons: It's light and thin. It fits in it's own built-in waist pack. It works great as a windbreaker over my leathers and allows me to travel in cold (as well as wet) without wearing too many layers or heavy, bulky sweaters under my leathers (that I have nowhere to put once it warms up in the middle of an all-day ride).

My daily commute is 40 miles one way and I get rained on everyday. I wore this suit everyday for about two months. It was fairly dry once I figured out how to effectively close the front zipper/velcro seam (just some minor leakage in the chest area during heavy rain). The suit held up well through all the donning and doffing but the crotch finally gave out after a couple months of hard wear. For occassional use it would probably last for a couple of riding seasons on the mainland.

Don't kid yourself.

At this price point, expecting to get a quality one piece that fits correctly is too much to ask for. Save up, get a two piece, or just get pants, you most likely (like I did) have a water proof upper.

Fits ok - a little warm which will be ok for the cooler months. Right arm is little snug due to the lining.

The look of the suit is ok. About SIZING - I'm 5'6 135 pounds and ordered a medium. It has enough room for gear i had on. The thickness of the material is also ok but i'd won't be rough with it. I like the velcro on the wrist and over the zippers and will keep you dry. You can fold the thing into an interior pocket zippered pocket for convenient travel. Great value but i'd get a two piece for a city with more rain than miami.

Took it for a ride.

Heading west from PA, we encountered, rain, a little sleet, cold rain, 50 mph crosswinds with rain, and high country passes in the mountain ranges on our way to Blaine, WA. and return. The suit was used four times and really proved effective at keeping me dry, also was a very effective wind breaker as well. The only complaint is that a little of the vulcanized lining around the the boots came loose from trying to put them on quickly. Good for the money and served me well.

Works great once you get the right fit. You have to order at least a couple sizes larger than normal if you are tall and you want it to fit over a jacket and chaps. They look sharp and have reflective material that helps others see you. You have to be careful to make sure you get the crotch zip and velcro just right or it leaks through-a little hard to do but worth the effort. Snugs up nice around neck, wrists and ankles. When used over boots or rain boots works great. Good product.

I read all the reviews before purchasing, and paid particular attention to the warnings about size. I normally am right on the line between Large and X-Large, so I bought the suit in 2X-Large and it's just right. Haven't had a chance to try it in the rain yet, but did wear it one cool morning. Comfy, just enough extra warmth, fit over my clothing and under my leather jacket very well. For the price, I couldn't be happier!
