I like it a lot, I have only worn it once in the rain and it kept me completely dry. I also wear it when it is cold to keep the cold air out. I love it.

nice rainsuit for the money
The only problem with this suit is as others have said "the sleeves are short". I knew this from other reviews but since my gloves are gauntlets it isn't that big of a deal.

Good purchase.
I'm starting to ride to work every day and this is a must have in my area.
Day after receiving my rain suit biggest shower this season started in D.C.
I was IMPRESSED with quality. Riding in the cloud of highway water when my vision was 50 feet I stayed DRY beyond my believe. Not a drop of water was on my clothes. Sizing is good and the suit is easy to put on over boots and jacket. BIG question to manufacturer is WHO MEASURED THE SLEEVES??? Sleeves are TOO SHORT. But if you have long gloves that is not an issue. Overall I find this great purchase.

I ordered small, don't think extra small was offered and it was way to big. It appears that the merchandise is made for male riders not female.

Dowco - Guardian Deluxe Rain Suit
Sleeves are way too short, I am 5'10" 195 lbs, ordered an LX, 1 size larger than I normally would have. Even with the extra large the sleeves are about 2 inches too short. Other than this, great product for the price!!!

Short Sleeves
I haven't used this suit in the rain yet so can't comment on its performance. The one thing I noticed when trying it on is that the sleeves are short. They will work with gauntlet gloves but they could be longer.

Very good product
I'm very happy with this suit because its super comfortable and while I'm riding it doesn't bother at all. Also its easy to store and the texture is very smooth. I would buy it again if it gets damaged or lost. I put a low rating in durability because I just started to use it, but it seems well made and durable.

The finish and quality is very good. The fit is a little off. The arms are a little too short and the pant legs are a little too long. It has performed very well and looks like it will hold up for a long time.

Looks good, but...
This review is not going to cover much of the functionality of this garment. The day before my new rain suit came in the mail my ride was cut short by an old lady on a cell phone. I have not used this suit in the rain yet, but may have some wet riding ahead this fall. The Dowco does look like it is sealed well and the fabric is definitely waterproof. The only real downside to the outfit are the jacket arms are very short, looks like they were not designed for a rider but a casual wearer. Granted, I am tall (6'2" 210 lbs, and I ordered the XL) but they ride up mid forearm when in riding position, and just barely touch my wrists when standing with my arms down. I figured for how cheap this suit was I can probably put up with some damp forearms. Over all a good buy for someone of average height who doesn't mind if their gloves meet the cuffs.

If you have long arms the jacket won't fit well
Overall I consider the rain suit a good value. However the jacket difinitely has short sleeves. My shirt sleeves are size 33 and I'd say this jacket is a size 31 or 32. While the suit does its job of keeping the rain our well, you have to remove your boots to get the pants on. I'm fortunate that I was able to find cover to put on the rain gear otherwise I would have been soaked by the time I got the pants on. Once it was on, everything worked very well.

Caught in rainstorm, stayed dry and warm. Suit was comfy. Arms were about a couple of inches too short. Value for money ten out of ten.

Good Overall But Pants Too Long
The price is right, but the pants will be too long for most people. You can see it in the picture. It just means they are bunched up at the bottom. In my case, strangely, the arms of the jacket were two or three inches too short. It isn't much of a problem--just means my riding jacket sticks out from under a couple of inches.

Dowco Guardian Delux Rain Suit
The pants were very long. Not sure I knew they were that long or I would have ordered a size smaller. They are about a foot too long for me. The finish appears to be very good. Durability...only had the product 1 month and it only rained 1 time to use. Features--liked the hidden hood. Many pockets-useful. I like the side zippered pants, easy on-off over boots. The cost is what made me order the product to begin with. Overall value I would give a "5".

Good for the money
The rain suit is good for the money, fits well and has some nice features. The only problem I have is the second time I used it the zipper broke. I'm sure that it would be a major problem to exchange for another one so I am going to go to a local shoe repair and get a new zipper installed.

Dowco - Guardian Deluxe Rain Suit
So far I have used the pants only once and they were great. The jacket does not fit well over my Cortech GX Sport jacket. I wear size XL and that's what I ordered but the sleeves are too short and the shoulders too narrow. The quality of the material seems very good though.

Sleeves too short
I think this is a nice rainsuit for the money. It stores fairly compact and seems to be of decent quality. I haven't had the chance (good) to try it in the rain yet. I have used it while riding, though. It balloons up a little bit, and the sleeves are too short when holding the handlebars. I wear a 32/33 sleeve shirt, and when I reach for the handlebars, the sleeves are a couple of inches too short. You'll have to wear gauntlet gloves to keep out all water and wind. The body of the jacket and pants fit fine.

Dowco Guardian Deluxe Rain Suit
I had to quickly put my rain suit on in a sudden downpour. I was pleased with it's durability considering I was not careful when pulling it over my riding boots. It was difficult to tell which way the front and back of the pants were when I was in a hurry and the inside lining kept getting caught on my boots. I did like the hood and the heavyweight material used for the suit though. Well worth the price. It definitely kept me dry.
