Paul Hemet,  CA Tour Master - Venture Pants The Venture Pants are great for staying warm on cold days. So far I've tested them down into the 40's at freeway speeds for over an hour and a half. They were very comfortable. One problem I had was the zipper to jacket did not match. The jacket is Joe Rocket. My biggest complaint would have to be the fit. I could not get a waist and inseam size to please me. I'm a 32x32 and the only size close to that was the medium 32-34 waist and 31 1/2 inseam. The phone salesman said they would probably be OK so I ordered them. I'm very disappointed because they ride up above the top of my boots. I would have returned them but I did not feel like the hassle and expense. And I could not exchange them because the length I wanted did not exist in my waist size for this product.

bill martin springfield,  OR Tourmaster- Venture Pants So far they’re doing the job I got them for, keeping me warm and dry. I have ridden in 32 degree weather several times and they definitely keep out the cold. They fit great over my work clothes, the only thing you have to watch out for is the zipper getting caught up when putting them on, other than that they are great.

G. Shea Gresham,  OR Tour Master Venture Pants Bought about a month ago, right as the Oregon weather was changing, and these pants do a great job of converting from warm to cold-weather riding. I have not ridden in the wet, so can't say how they'll do in a cloudburst or drizzle. I plan using a rain pant over these as needed. The pockets seal up well with a Velcro protected zipper. The liners zip in and out easy enough. The zipper on the back waistline for attaching to a riding jacket provided the other half of the zipper which I will need to have tailored into my coat - my current coat zips the opposite direction! No standardization there... No biggie at all. Easy to get over my boots so off and on is simple. In all, glad I purchased.

John Lewiston,  ID Tour Master Venture Pants The pants fit very well and provide protection from the elements as well as a more comfortable ride. Without the ability to remove the rain liner they can be a little warm but still worth it.

Darrin Port Neches,  TX Venture Pant .... great buy!! I'm very pleased with the pants. I used these for a week’s vacation in the Ozarks. We had a one whole day of riding in the rain, all day long non-stop rain for 8 hours, I was bone dry! My wife was completely dry also as I purchased the women’s Venture pant. We had weather in the low 40's and the pant's with the liner are toasty. They fit me nicely and I bought a size larger like some others had suggested. We wore the pants for 6 days straight about 12-13 hours a day. They are comfortable and I do not have a single complaint. They do get real warm when the temps rise to around 80 degrees with no liner. I ride a 09 concours 14. Darrin

Roger Brooklyn,  NY Good pant These are very good pants, I wear them with slacks and jeans underneath and they feel comfortable. I have worn them in 60's and 70's weather and they don't get very hot but once you take them off your legs will feel very humid. Plus, wore them for the first time in rain and they mostly kept me dry except that around the inner thigh a little bit of water got into the pants but otherwise very nice pants. Hopefully, they will offer good protection when the weather starts to get colder.

Al Cervantes Chula Vista,  CA Nice pants, great value These pants are great! With the liner the fit is snug, but not uncomfortable, over jeans. Without the liner, they fit just right over jeans. It's only gotten into the 50's in the mornings here in San Diego, so I don't really need the liner. With the liner it get's too hot. I tried on similar pants in motorcycle shops to get a better idea on what size to order. I'm 5'9” with a 36” waist and I found a 38 waist XL was the best fit. I like the full length zipper/velcro feature. It makes putting them on and taking them off over boots a snap. The price was great, the quality is top-notch and they arrived quickly.

David Irwin Fort Walton Beach,  FL Great for the Cold Morning ride! Great riding pants!!!! Slightly longer than size chart. I have been wearing these pants for my morning commute without the liner; the temperatures have been below 35 degrees typically. The pants are warm and stop the wind. Not easy getting them on over the boots or shoes. Still I am very satisfied!!!!

Mike Kester Alamogordo,  NM Tourmaster Venture Pants Pants are great for colder weather. Ridden in 25 degrees with no problems, no moisture yet to test that factor. Easy on and off over boots. However zipper keeps getting caught up in inner lining material of the pants. The lining of the pants is too loose around the leg zippers, but the removable liner leg zippers work well. Definitely need a size up to fit over jeans as they are a bit bulky.

Jerry Glen Ridge,  NJ Water Resistant - NOT water proof I used these pants for several months in hot, cold and wet riding conditions in the North East. With the liner out you can wear this item into the 80's. When I wore the pants in an all day rain condition they did NOT keep me 100% dry. I had wet spots on my thigh, shins and most annoying in the crotch! They are in my judgment water resistant not water proof.

Rupam Ashburn,  VA Great pants, great price! I have tried these pants in temperature range of upper 30s (not taking into account the wind chill) to upper 50s. They are very comfortable at both temperature ranges. They protect from cold very well, although they get a little warm in upper 50s but that was because I hadn't remove the inner padded lining. I can extrapolate my experience at upper 30s and deduce that they will serve the purpose even when its gets colder. I bought L size when my regular pant size is 34, inseam 32. They fit very well. I once wore them with ankle-high shoes and I felt cold near ankles. I wish they had made the outer wind-proof lining an inch longer - with a provision to fold it up when not required. I recommend them.

Sean Richland,  WA Great for winter. These pants are great for cold weather riding. 50 degrees and higher they are comfortable without the liner. But lower than that the liner keeps you nice and warm. The hook that held on the liner on the left sleeve broke when I first got it.

Andrejs Reskevics Harbor Springs,  MI These are really great pants! I was looking for some mesh pants to wear in the summer. I really wasn't looking for waterproof pants or cold weather pants, but they are modular so I figured it would be an added bonus that I wouldn't use since I already had pants that I liked for cold and wet weather. Well, after using these for a season, they are my ONLY pants. The fit and finish is great and very durable. They have separate liners that you can use together or individually. The quilted liner keeps me warm and the waterproof liner keeps me dry. No issues whatsoever. In the summer they breathe very well and don't really even feel like I have overpants on. The pants are a bit heavy when all liners are in. Not a big deal to me though. I would recommend these to anyone. The price is an added bonus. Tour Master products are my favorite so far. Inexpensive and high quality are hard to find in one product. Tour Master does not disappoint. A+++++++

Leo San Diego,  CA Good Quality Good quality pants for the price. I'm a size 38 waist and got a 2XL which fits nice over my jeans. Ventilation could be better. Pretty hot for summer and fall riding in San Diego. I had to take out the inner lining. Probably will not need to use it in the winter. Solid craftsmanship, hopefully I will never have to find out, but I feel much protected when I wear these pants.

Satya Newday LaFayette,  NY Venture Pants excellent value I bought these pants for cool to cold weather riding. While they begin to be too warm above 60 degrees I found them to be excellent between 45 and 60 degrees without the liner. I can't vouch for the water proof quality but the pants do seem rugged. I bought a size bigger and they fit fine and I can tuck in a sweat shirt I wear under my jacket and still zip the jacket to the pants. The one fault I find with them is that the right leg zipper has gotten stuck twice in a month. All and all I feel safe and snug in them and they look okay.

Ted Sabatini Arroyo Grande,  CA 6500 cross country and Canada ride proves it... I just completed a 6500 mile ride wearing the Venture pants and Transition II jacket. I can't say enough good things about them. I rode through heavy rain for hours and never got wet. Rode through the desert in 90+ heat and the jackets vent system was great and I rode through 32 degree cold and I stayed toasty. I put in 18 hour days wearing the Venture pants and they never caused me discomfort. It made those 2800 miles much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend them and the folks at Motorcycle-Superstore give the best service, thanks.

Dennis Simmons Albany,  NY Good pants at a value price. I was in the market for an adequate set of pants, and searched far and wide. I tried this pair, and found them to have many of the same features as some of the more expensive pairs. The pants kept me dry in a rain storm, and were comfortable. I would buy this pair again should the current pair ever need to be replaced.

Melissa Poirier Fernandina Beach,  FL Highly recommended for cold weather I am 66" and female. The men's small fit fine. Tested them in 50 degree weather with the padded lining in. Kevin Keller,  TX Love these pants I use these for commuting every day. I ride a Suzuki V Strom which doesn't have much wind protection on the legs. I leave the liner out if it's 30F or above. I have ridden in the low 20's with the liner in and could definitely go colder. I just wear them over jeans (no thermals). Both the pants and the liner have side zippers from the hip to the bottom of the leg and they are easy to get in and out of with shoes on. They are very comfortable and they do a better job than I expected of keeping out the wind and cold. I have worn them in temp ranges from 22F to 70F. Probably couldn't go past 75F or 80F as there is no ventilation. Fortunately I haven't tried out the crash protection features yet, so can't help you there. Order a size larger if you are going to wear them over jeans. I am a 32 waist and 34 inseam and I ordered the large, they fit perfect.

Jim Hagerstown,  MD Venture Pants Love them! Winter riding will be a lot warmer. I doubt I will use the liner but time will tell. They seem very well made. I will not know about summer riding till next year. I ordered a size larger than the size chart shows to order, I like the extra room. Some more reflective material would be a plus. Tom Foolery Atlanta,  GA Tour Master Venture Pants Great for riding below upper 60s, but pure misery from 70s up even without liner. Do not breathe because of waterproofing applied to inside of shell. However, rode for 30-45 mins daily in mid-20s to mid-30s this past winter and did not need liner. Good armor. "Snaps" sometimes don't remain fastened, but problem not unique to Tour Master and can be fixed with large, metal hook-and-loop fasteners. Great buy for cool to very mild temps.

Michael Cranmer Pensacola,  Nova Scoti Venture Pant Fit was just what I hoped for. I bought one size up and they fit great over jeans but if you have shorts on, these are perfect too. I have come to trust Tour Master gear and I have never been disappointed. For the money, they deliver a good product that works well. And the price was right at Motorcycle Superstore. McBull Spring Hill,  TX Good choice for cold weather. Today it was 39 degrees and the pants (with liner) kept me warm on the way to work, 51 miles. They are a bit bulky but worth it if you are not a cold weather person. I used the pants last week, without the liner, riding in upper 40's to mid 60's and they were comfortable. Lots of room in the pockets and easy to slip on. The Velcro along the zipper gets in the way just a little bit. Overall, well constructed, comfortable, easy to get into, warm, a bit bulky with liner.

Ron McCollum Jackson,  TN Tour Master Venture Pant I've used these pants only a short time. They are relatively easy to put on because of the full zipper in the leg. The velcro over the zippers seems a little troublesome if you need to use it to cover the zipper for rainy rides (I haven't used them in the rain yet). The legs seem a little long to me for the proper waist size (they are size small too - I needed a XXXL and I have a 40 inch waist). I've only used them in warm weather and they are a bit on the warm side even with the insulation remo
