Pretty good equipment
Extremely cool. Nowhere near the protection of solid gear but no mesh pant can deliver that and just too hot to ride here in anything else in the summer. Very well made. Could use a velcro cinch on the lower legs but not a major issue. I would recommend them and will continue to buy Joe Rocket gear. They go nice with my Phoenix jacket.

Good fit
These are nice pants. I can put them over jeans or slacks quite easily. They have zippers on the side so you don't have to take off your shoes, but since the zippers don't go all the way up it's easier to just take your shoes off. They have padding wear you think you would need it, hips and knees. Also, they seem to stay at a nice temperature, not too hot and not too cold, no matter the riding conditions.

Pheonix 2.0 pant
Seem quite durable from the tight weave of the mesh however this does slightly affect the airflow through the material. I have worn them in 85+ degree weather and they were fine. Overall, a pretty good buy.

Nice mesh pants
I have worn these over dress pants, jeans, and shorts. They are very comfortable in any situation. They also dry quickly when you get caught in the rain. If you wear a 34 buy a 34 waist. They fit true to size in my case.

Joe Rocket Phoenix 2.0 Pants
These pants are great. I exchanged another pair of pants for these because they didn't fit properly. The Joe Rocket pants fit me perfectly. I am 5’9” and 215 lbs with a 38 in waste and 32 inch inseam. I ordered the 2xl pants with the regular length and they fit perfectly. I didn’t' even have to adjust the knee pads. Only two real gripes are that the pants don’t have a way to tighten the cuff around my boots and there is no access to the pockets of the pants you’re wearing underneath.

Great Pants
Got them last summer for the summer and they are great pants, way better than jeans and protection is a big plus. I love every feature these pants provide.

Phoenix 2.0 Pants
Great bang for the buck! The knee pads hang a bit low even in the top slot adjustment. I order a double XL and it was almost too big for me and my 36” waist. Just order one size larger instead of two and you should be fine with your pants or shorts underneath.

Good Pants for the Price
These pants are a great value for the money. They fit well over my work clothes and have a full zip for easy on and off.

No Tall Size - Phoenix 1.0 was Better
Poor materials - poor design - poor fit. I wish I could get my hands on the Phoenix 1.0. The 2.0 had to be designed by someone on crack. Loose fitting legs - Velcro flaps over side zippers- You got to be kidding- this is a mesh pant. The inner mesh rips when you put it on, the useless velcro falls off. I can hardly believe this is a Joe Rocket product. I want the 1.0 design back - PLEASE!

Phoenix 2.0 short pants
Great pants for hot weather. They run a little on the small side so I suggest ordering a size larger since they can be tightened but not loosened. I wish they had something to tie the pant opening so they are not as baggy. Also, there needs to be padding in the tailbone area to make them perfect. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone for the street.

They have quickly become my favorite. Very comfortable and very climate friendly pants.

Good pants espeically for big guys
I like the size availability since I’m in the big and tall range. I will like the mesh when it gets warmer. Down side is that unless you have high boots you will feel the rocks that hit your shins. Hip pads work well, knee pads seem to slip around and not stay where I want them. Overall I like the pants and I will figure out a way to protect my shins and keep the pads where they should be.

Excellent for tall guys
These pants have a long inseam, perfect if you are over 6'. If you aren't, I think Joe Rocket addressed this with the "short" version of this pant. The meshing on these is great, lots of breathability. The on/off is a snap with the long side zippers. A little too much padding in the hips, but it's all removable, so who cares about that.

Great Pants
Highly Recommended!!!
The Joe Rocket Phoenix 2.0 pants are great. I wear them year round for riding in Oregon and California. My wife loves them and wears shorts under her size, men’s small, in the summer time. (I could not find them in a woman’s size.) We both wear the Phoenix jackets. VERY cool on a hot; great protection from Oregon’s Yellow jackets and other creatures that love to smack into riders. The Phoenix pants run small where the jacket is a normal size. I wear 44X32 pants but ne

Just what I was looking for
I was looking for a good pair of pants to wear as over pants on my way to work. These are perfect. I like the over all look and quality. They have ample hip padding and CE approved armor in the knees that is adjustable for two different heights. Also they zip into my Joe rocket phoenix jacket. Nice Pants!

Hmmm...Not sure about these
These are the only mesh pants I've tried, so I'm not sure how good/bad they are, relatively speaking. Here's what I like and don't like about them:
LIKE
- Armor/padding in knees and hips.
- Good air flow. Definitely help with the heat.
- Good adjustability (Velcro) in the waist.
- Wide legs--easy to get to boots.
- Zippers down the leg + Velcro. Again, easy to get to boots.
DON'T LIKE
- Long inseam. I had to buy XXL for a 36" waist and the inseam is quite long.
- Knee armor seem
