Ben Batavia,  IL Satisfied Customer Used the advice of previous reviews successfully and am satisfied with my purchase. I ordered the size recommended by the chart, and it has enough extra room to go snugly over a pair of jeans. Perfect in my book.

Tommy Spring Hill,  FL Great HOT weather riding pants These are great HOT weather riding pants. The weather here in Florida is not only hot, but also very humid and these pants work great! I've had them for only a few weeks, so I can't really confirm the durability issue, but so far I consider it money well spent. It feels like I have short pants on, but with armor! I highly recommend these riding pants for any hot weather riding.

Willie Forney,  TX Joe Rocket - Phoenix 2.0 Pants I’m very pleased with this purchase. I like the fit and comfort when riding. I also like the ease of putting the pants on and off. The price was very reasonable also.

Lee Keller King Sugar Land,  TX Joe Rocket Phoenix 2 Pants I ordered these pants because I messed up and ordered the wrong size when the Fieldsheer mesh pants were on closeout. I am now glad I changed my order to the Joe Rocket pants and I like the design better than the Fieldsheer design. Also, the zipper attachment to my Joe Rocket mesh jacket gives more confidence that my gear will stay in place in the event of a getoff. So far so good. The pants (which I wear over shorts) are much cooler than my First Gear solid textile pants and I like the fit.

Luke Coombs Guelph,  ON Nice and Cool I am 6’4” & 220 and a 34. I got the XL size. The pants work great. I can put them over jeans, shorts and I am able to wear them by themselves, if it is super hot out. I have the armor in the lower pocket and it sit perfect on my knees. The hip armor is great and the back zipper connects to my tecknic jacket. I can remove them very easily and not look like a tool walking around in motorcycle gear if I am going someplace. I tried them on at a local shop before I bought them. I also tried the Icon Ark Mesh pants on and I liked these much more, The icons did not have the same protection, but did have more pockets (not a big deal, because my jacket has lots of pockets.

Brian Portland,  OR Great ventilation, but room for improvement... I bought these to go with my Phoenix 5.0 jacket that I bought last year as really enjoyed how comfortable the jacket is in hot weather. I am 6'1" and 180lbs and wear a 32" x 32" in jeans. The Phoenix 2.0 pants in a medium regular length are just right in length and have enough waist adjustment to fit excellent over shorts, light weight pants, and jeans. My biggest complaint is the fit off the padding around the knees. Even with the padding in the top pocket, the knee pad sits too low. The contouring of the knee pad allows it to sit comfortably in the right position after a little adjustment when riding, but is way too low when standing and so loose the pad can easily be moved away from the knee. The knee area really needs some way to tension it up much like the elastic strap in the elbow pads of the Phoenix jacket. The square ring on the belt adjustment also tends to rotate when the belt is tightened and this could easily have been prevented if the loop holding the ring had been sewn closer to the ring. With a needle and thread I think I can fix the square ring issue and may see if I can find some way to snug the knee pads up (shock cord and a couple of buttons?). Good quality for the price.

Charles Bristol,  VA Great Riding Pants These pants fit true to size. The armor in the knees is where it needs to be for me. I don’t even notice it’s there. I would have liked to see a little padding in the backside of these pants though. Padding on the hips is sufficient and comfortable. It would be nice to see these in a color other than black. For the money a great buy!

Daron Fayetteville,  AR Pretty good equipment Extremely cool. Nowhere near the protection of solid gear but no mesh pant can deliver that and just too hot to ride here in anything else in the summer. Very well made. Could use a velcro cinch on the lower legs but not a major issue. I would recommend them and will continue to buy Joe Rocket gear. They go nice with my Phoenix jacket.

Brandon Roybal Lake Elsinore,  CA Good fit These are nice pants. I can put them over jeans or slacks quite easily. They have zippers on the side so you don't have to take off your shoes, but since the zippers don't go all the way up it's easier to just take your shoes off. They have padding wear you think you would need it, hips and knees. Also, they seem to stay at a nice temperature, not too hot and not too cold, no matter the riding conditions.
