BK Sin City,  NV Shift Havoc Pants So far, these pants have lived up to my every expectation. Fit, finish, and function. I have worn them on hot and cool days. When it's hot, as long as your moving you'll be ok. I like the look and and the feel of the garment. I only marked it down slightly for the lack of hip armor/padding and lack of belt loops. I like these pants a great deal, and I'm going to find a seamstress or tailor to install belt loops. I also like the fact that they fit over my boots. They are always an attention getter too, but overall, I like the protection they bring.

DucNCover Mill Valley,  CA Wreak Havoc Pants fit true to size. The size 36 fit like a size 36 jean. It's roomy enough to put a pair of thermals under but may be a little tight to wear as an over pant. The pads sit in the right places on the knee. Nice balance of leather and non leather materials. Pants can get a little warm when sitting still in traffic but they offer much better ventilation than all leather riding gear. Bang per buck this is a good pair of hybrid leather riding pants. These pants are perfect for riding through the micro climates of the Bay Area where temperatures can vary by 10-20 degrees by crossing from area to another in a matter of minutes. The pant legs are designed to fit over your boots. Remember pants first then boots! ;D

Oliver Pantego,  TX Shift Havoc Pants These pants offer excellent quality and practicality at a competitive price. They are ideal for short rides, but will also do for long trips in a pinch. I took them for a ride through the Alps this summer and they provided a high level of comfort in mixed weather conditions that even included snow. They do not offer as much protection as other more expensive race pants (no armor), but they are not as bulky either and pack easily on a trip. Added bonus: they offer much better abrasion protection than textile pants. Highly recommend for quality and value.

Danno Morris,  MB Finally got a chance to try the pants! Finally got some good riding weather up here in Canada and I love these Shift Racing - Havoc pants. I bought them a size bigger so I can wear shorts under them. This way I can take them off when I stop somewhere without attracting too much attention! The knees hang a little low when you stand, but they line up perfectly when you are in the riding position. I would recommend them to anyone. Lots of pockets and good fit and finish.

M. Bags Mcgee Truckee,  CA Creating Havoc These are pretty much the coolest leather pants you can buy. Unless you WANT to look like something from Saturday Night Fever. They are great for cooler weather and comfortable on long rides. I bought a size larger and use adjustable waist to dial in my fit with different layers of underwear/fleece. Styling is killer, my girlfriend gets jealous when I leave town with hot leather pants on. Buy these for $200 you can't go wrong.

Craig Weaverville,  NC Great Fit I love these pants for the fit and protection, they are very warm over 80 degrees. Could really use better venting for warmer weather. The knee protection does ride low when off the bike, I wish it were adjustable. But hey, they're for riding not walking. The size is true to normal pant sizes, at least it was for me. I normally wear a 36 x 34, I do wish they were a little longer.

A singh Charlotte,  NC wreak HAVOC! I love these pants. They look very street and racy at the same time. Leather in just the right places, lots of ventilation and zips perfect with my Shift vendetta jacket. Run a little long, but then again, you are not supposed to walk around in them. On the bike they are perfect. Knee guards and all fall in place. They are comfortable for me in anything between 55F and 70F. I also wear long John's under for extra warmth in the fall / early spring months. The style and looks are added bonus :P

Scott Shatalow Hosmer,  BC Can't find a better pant These are the go-to pants for me. Padding, leather, and breathability is just where it should be. Yea, the knee pads are a bit low when I'm off the bike, so I just stay on the bike longer. If I ever do get off the bike, I don't draw attention in a coffee shop like the tight one piece crowd. The only drawback is the lack of belt loops, but the waist adjustment system works fine. I'm a 34 in jeans, and the 34 fit perfect. Shift makes great gear, this is one of the finest.

Chris knoxville,  TN Great balance of form and function I'm always looking for leather pants that protect, are comfortable, and look good. These are my favorites so far. I'm kind of a stocky guy; 5'8" @ 170 lbs. I have a really hard time finding pants that give my legs enough room yet aren't a foot too long. I got the size 32 and they fit great. They're just a little bit snug, but it's just past the holidays, so it's mostly my fault. The snaps in the front have stayed snapped so far and they're really comfortable on the bike. While they're not perforated, they aren't overly warm. And they look great. They don't sag around the ass. The cargo pocket is a nice touch as well. I wouldn't wear them to the track or anything, but for typical street duty, they're just fine. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and with Motorcycle Superstore.

Alfred Chandler,  AZ AWESOME PANT! I bought the pant for an 1100 mile Iron Butt ride and it was worth every penny. The pants were warm enough when riding through the rain and snow but vented enough while riding through the AZ desert. That said, my only quam with the pants are that there aren't any belt loops and (due to my small gut) the buttons kept unfastening. Adding belt loops would have made this pant a perfect 10 out of 10...because it didn't I would give it a 9 out of 10. Great look and very comfy. The knee pads were too low for walking but once in riding position, it fit absolutely perfectly. Pant fit is like a modern pair of boot cut jeans.

Aaron Salinas,  CA Shift Havoc My first pair of riding pants, very happy with them. I only wish they were maybe an inch longer. I am 6'0'' about 170lbs. I would recommend going a couple sizes large on them, especially if you plan on wearing pants underneath. I wear size 30 jeans, originally bought a 32 but they were too tight. Exchanged them for a 34 and they fit great.

Aaron Salinas,  CA Shift Racing - Havoc Pants My first pair of biking pants and I'm very satisfied. I would recommend going a couple sizes large though if you plan on wearing pants underneath them. I wear size 30 jeans. I originally ordered a 32 but it was tight. Exchanged them for a 34 and it is great. They'd fit perfect if I was 2 inches shorter. Long enough when standing, but when riding they are a touch short, I am 6'0” though.

Al Cody Vancouver,  BC Havoc Pants I've been looking for riding pants that are not pure sport bike but offer good looks, protection and at a price I can afford. The Havoc seem to be that. I am very happy with the quality, design and finish. I am 6'1" 180 lbs. 36x34 pant size. The 36 Havoc is pretty close. The waist is adjustable giving a wide range of adjustment. I might be tempted to say a 34 would have been a closer fit for me. With the waist band up tight it works with a light shirt tucked in. Should also work great with thick shirt on a cool day. Inseam measures 32 1/2" Just about right. Another inch would be perfect for riding. For an all around good looking motorcycle pant these fill the bill.

Mike Kirkland,  WA Very good riding pants from Shift These pants are very good and well worth the money. The pants have typical, above average quality and fit from SHIFT. I like the blend of leather and fabric. It makes the pant very versatile and easy to wear often. I like the waist adjusters. I have not seen this type of set up before. You pull a strap on both sides of the pant to tighten the waist, if necessary and then just attach it to the matching Velcro strip on the waist of the pant. It works very well and holds it place, no matter how active you are on the bike or otherwise. I usually wear a 34 waist and inseam. I ordered a 34 and the fit is perfect; typical for SHIFT.

Dominic Colorado Springs,  CO Shift Racing - Havoc Pants I've been very pleased with this product. I'm 5'10" and 165 pounds and the size 34 is perfect. Nice feature is adjustable velcro waist--great feature for after meal riding. Only complaint (4 on features rating) is the bottom of the pants don't close tightly around my boots but that is a minor situation. These pants are very stylish and comfortable and easily worn in public without looking weird. Hopefully I'll never test their road protection capabilities but the pants seem solid and have functional protection as you would expect.

Ian Aspen,  CO I love these pants The quality, the construction, the comfort and the fit are all top notch. They have a designer jean like cut, low rise waist and extended length, so they are comfortable to walking around as well. The fit is true and the waist band rides below the hip bones. I'm a 32X32, 5'11" 180 lbs, and the fit it perfect, snug the way I like. If you like roomier fit, these may not be the pants for you.

Brian Greenfield Center,  NY Shift Racing - Havoc Pants With a 32/34 waste and inseam I have a tough time being fitted in motorcycle pants. This is the first pair that fit me without being big in the waist or short in the inseam. Also, the knee armor is still over my knees when riding. These are excellent over the boot pants and look great.

AJ Singh Charlotte,  NC killer pants These pants are fighter/street look and I love them. I can wear my leather boots and these pants to run errands. Easy to walk around in as well. The side pockets are hard to get into while riding, but that's the case with most pants. Plus they don't look funny on you when you're off the bike and look great while you are on the bike. The quality is awesome. The fit is do-able, but it depends on your physique, my knee guards sit just a TAD bit low on the knee when I am riding. Other than that I love these pants. Temp range I have ridden in is 50 to 80 degrees. Was wearing a base layer when I was riding in the 50's.

Josh Eudy Troutman,  NC Great pants I love these pants. They fit really well (and have waist adjustments so I can let them out a little when I eat too much). Another reviewer mentioned that the knee pads were too low, and off the bike or on a cruiser, they probably are. Once your legs are bent on a street or sport bike, the pads are in perfect position. Wish they had hip padding, but other than that, they are great.

Kevin Horner Carbondale,  IL Excellent! These are great pants. The quality is first rate, the fit is nice, but remember your inseam, there's no way to hem these. Belt loops would be nice. These pants will zip right into most Shift jackets. The fabric areas flow nicely. Also, you get leather pants without the cheesy leather look. These look and perform great.

michael harris los alamos,  NM shift Racing - havoc pants Very comfortable, half the weight of full leather pants, great flexibility, well placed armor. Good fit with adjustment, great features with zip for jacket, good pliable leather and good ventilation for all but the hottest weather and probably won't work in extreme cold but 48-50 degrees works for me.

John M Bear Lake,  MI Wow, awesom pants I just received my Shift Racing Havoc pants, and I must say I am astounded by the quality. Nice seams, no frayed or loose threads anywhere. Extremely comfortable, substantial feeling, but not heavy at all. The combination leather and textile also looks nice, and would provide more than ample protection in case of an accident. The pictures on this site do NOT do justice to these pants, they look MUCH nicer in hand. I actually found them on another site to get more views, then came back to Motorcycle Superstore because of their excellent customer service. I can't wait to ride now!!

Val Chicago,  IL Finally, a wearable pair of leather pants! I've always wanted a pair of leather motorcycle pants because of its benefits - great protection, warmth, durability - but was always weary of buying because of their (many) draw backs - ridiculously tight, bad fit, maintenance and just plain looking silly factor. Either the racing pants or the chaps were basically unacceptable to someone like me. I'm sorry but I'm just being honest. Then I found out about the Shift havoc pants and based upon a quick internet research and a couple of pics I made a purchase, which is not very common for me. I was very intrigued to see how they would fit, etc. so once they arrived I'd quickly put them on and went out for a ride. The initial impressions were extremely positive and they remain so to this day: I'm a 5'11” 170lbs guy and 32W 32I pair was a PERFECT fit. The little adjustable waist feature is very nice, in case your waist is a bit smaller than your inseam, or in case you're wearing an extra layer. The quality of the craftsmanship is incredible and the combination of leather and denier nylon provides all the benefits (lighter, more comfortable, etc.). So, if you see yourself as a person similar to me - look no further as this IS a pair of leather pants made for you! My thanks to the Shift product development people - great work!

W. Bauer Canby,  IN Shift Havoc pants Nice pants, the fit was just about right. I'm 6'2" and 215lbs, the size 36 was about right. I like the leather/ textile mix so they are lighter than full leather pants. They do lack hip pads and would have added to the protection. I wish they also include a way to adjust the ankle closure since the wide bottoms let in a lot of air and look like bellbottom pants.

Aaron spring creek,  CA shift havoc pant This is truly a great riding pant. I love the nylon/leather mix in the design of the pant which allows for more flexibility over other 100% leather pants on the market. I have purchased motocross riding gear from Shift in the past and this is another example of their excellent design and comfort. If I had to pick one fault of the pant it would be the knee pads. They are fairly bulky and awkward for a loose fitting pant such as this. I removed the knee pads and personally I like the look and feel
