The Recon pant represents a new thought process in the field of motorcycle apparel. Blending aspects of purpose built motorcycle riding gear and casual apparel fit, the Recon pant delivers on both fronts. Internal reinforced knees, articulated stretch panels and vented crotch panel speak to the riding function of the Recon pants, while the loose fit, straight leg cut and motocross influenced styling provide a casual comfort when you’re not on your bike.

Clarke Ries Victoria,  BC Good jeans, weird fit I like these jeans, and between the Kevlar patches and the layer of abrasion-resistant aramid, I'm confident they'll hold up. The sizing is bizarre. I'm 6' tall and 200 pounds. I ordered a 38 waist, which was a mistake on my part, the waist was definitely too large. That said, the length was perfect (with my boots on). People may find that ordering the accurate waist size results in pants that fit a bit short, but maybe others had different experiences. If in doubt, maybe order a bit large in the waist, because a tailor can always take it in on the cheap.

Carl Sardaro jr Red Hook,  NY Icon-Recon riding jeans Not as heavy as I thought they would be. Very high cut waist, the only area reinforced is the knee, vented crotch works really well. Well made pair of pants, in my opinion only marginally worth the extra money over work grade jeans.

Scott Kenmore,  WA recon pant The padding should extend all the way down the front of the leg. The worst thing you get nearly every time you ride are rocks to the shins. That is why I bought the pant and I was really dismayed to see the knee padding is so minimal.

Dfrank Ashtabula,  OH Icon- Recon pants Good Pants. I wear a 34 and ordered a 34. The only problem I have with these is that I have a bigger butt than the average skinny guy so it is a little tight in the hips. Basically I can’t put anything in the pockets :) The ladies don't complain. I wore them the other day in about 90 degree weather and only sweat a bit. Carry on.

william smith folcroft,  PA inseam no choice on inseam had to pay another $10 to hem length. If you wear longer then a 32 inseam don't waste money on these

Cline Reese Bothell,  WA Icon - Recon Pants I purchased the Recon pants to fit my waist, knowing that the length would be too long. The fit was perfect; however I took the legs up to fit. They feel comfortable on the bike and look great on the road. Good to know that if I go down, I will have more protection than regular Levi's. These pants are of high quality and very well built.

bill harty bartow,  FL awesome pants I wear my icon's every ride. Read the review's I wear a 34 the review said they run small so I ordered the 36 size and the fit is perfect. Great pants for the price. I know if I ever go down the protection is a whole lot better then thin jeans after all who wants skin grafts. Buy them wear them be safe. Been wearing my pants for over a month and ride every day and I love these pants. Fit feel and looks awesome.
