Very Nice Set of Pants
I had been looking for a pair of "winter" pants for a little while. When I saw the price on this pair, I thought, "How could I go wrong?" I'm extremely happy with them. There's enough room to wear pants on underneath them. I've worn long underwear and a thinly lined pair of workout pants, from Old Navy (at the same time), under these pants. I've also been able to get a pair of heavily lined, I'm talking quilted lining, jeans under them. They've been fine by themselves for just under 50 degrees, but I get cold really easy. My only criticisms, is they're a little tight when I try to button them up and don't just slide off when after removing my boots and trying to take them off. I wear size 30 pants and generally there's plenty of room. But even without anything under them they're a little tight when I button all the buttons on them, to the point where they dig under my ribs when I'm riding. Not too bad, just a little discomfort. I have a Ninja 250, causing a forward riding position. So, I'm not sure what it would be like riding on a cruiser. I have solved it, by not buttoning it and just securing it with the Velcro strap that's attached. As for getting them off, it just takes a little shaking. It's the liner, not the outer pants, that get caught on my foot. Overall, I'm still very happy and for the price...come on!

money well spent
These pants are great. You will need to order a size larger than your regular pant size. I have used these while riding to work which is an hour drive in 50F degree weather. I haven't had to use the liner yet or gotten to use them in the rain. Overall I am very pleased with these and would recommend them.

Great pants
Ordered these for dual sporting and like that the bottom of pants give you the option of wearing over the boot or under. The knee pads adjust which is nice. The waist is smaller than stated. I wear a 32 and got the 34 and they are snug in the waist but fit well everywhere else. Very warm! Takes some time to put liners in or take them out but they stay put once they are in. Good reflective strips, a great match for the adventure jacket. Good mobility, feels like motocross pants with the liner out. A really good buy, very pleased.

Great Everyday Adventure Pants
These pants are a great value and very versatile. Can be used for commuting, adventure riding or touring. Good armor and abrasion resistance. Zippers on the legs can get caught up with the liner, so be patient!

adventure pants
These pants are great. The fit was true to size on me; 6', 200 lbs. The protective armor and padding is well positioned, does not migrate and is of excellent quality. The pant Velcro fastener is much better than snaps or buttons. I have worn these w/ liner on 30 degree days with no chill effect. I have worn them on 100 degree days and was cool & comfortable. No better pant w/ protection exists.

Pretty good
I bought these pants about a month ago, and they work very nicely. The length is great. They cover up my whole leg even when im in the riding position. They zip up to my jacket which makes all the difference in the world for air flow. They only thing i would suggest, is to allow the front of the jacket to zipper up to the front of the pants. I sometimes, when it's really cold, have to pull down the front of my jacket to stop some air from seeping in. other than that, these pants are perfect with my feldsheer jacket. I'd suggest to buy. Great over pants
It took me a few tries to get the right fit. I originally ordered my regular size, but found I needed the next higher size. Now I am enjoying the comfort, even on days that were in the 20's, and feeling the security of good protection between me and the pavement. Well worth the price.

Warm but bulky
These pants are nice. They have good padding and the knee pads are adjustable. I did have two issued with these pants, due to my size and boot type. My first problem is I'm short, and the liner is bulky. My pant size is a 30L, 34w, and I ordered the large short, and the fit is snug. The length is good, but I have to take out the liner if I want to wear my work pants under the adventure pant. I probably could do well with an XL, but the length may be too long. My other problem is that I cant fit my MX boot under the pant, even without the liner. I ride dual sport, and would like to be able to wear my MX boot under the pant for my light off road riding (touring), but my Fox boots won’t fit under the pants, so I'll have to get something else to wear with these pants.

Great pair of riding pants
I was unsure whether to get the FS Adventure or the FS Mercury pants, so I ordered both in size Large Short with the expectation of returning the pair I didn't like. A few key differences between the two: * The Mercury’s are sized as an overpant; the Adventures are not. * The liner in the Adventures can be worn by themselves, whereas the liner in the Mercury’s cannot. The liners aren't necessarily something you'd want to wear out to a nice restaurant but I've found them to be convenient to have along for trips or stopping off at a friend’s house. * The Adventures do not have any external back pockets, whereas the Mercury’s do. I keep my riding wallet pretty thin, so keeping it in a front pocket while on the bike has not been a problem. * The Adventures have much better hip padding than the Mercury’s. * The Adventures fit well, whereas the Mercury’s give a bit of a "saggy crotch" look, regardless of whether you wear them over other pants or not. For reference, I am 5' 10", 195lbs, 30" inseam, 34-36" waist, and the Large Short pair of Adventure pants fit me well. I did have to adjust the knee armor all the way up to get it in the proper location for me.
