Great product
These jeans fit true to normal jean sizes and are very comfortable. I am always on the move at work and had no comfort issues wearing these for an entire 9 hour shift. My only gripe is that they didn't have my size in the darker color, otherwise I recommend these to anyone that's looking for a casual pair of jeans with added protection over the normal off the rack levi's.

Pretty good, but not incredible
I have some Icon Super Duty II riding pants in camo and love them, but my girl hated the camo, so I got some of these pants. They look and fit like normal jeans, and have a sheet of kevlar like yellow fabric on the inside in key locations. The rear pockets are a pretty cool design, with one pocket closed with a snap flap, and the other without a flap for easy access. They don't have a pocket for armor or any other notable features. They look pretty good and do their job, but realistically I would not want to crash wearing these pants. I don't think a thin sheet of tear resistant fabric is going to do much good protecting

a little snug
I read some of the reviews before buying these jeans... I usually wear size 34 jeans so I figured based on the input from others these jeans would be ok. I'm 6'4 190lbs... and have to say the 34 is a little too tight. Especially around the waist/crotch area. Length is ok.. maybe a little too short but it's hard to complain as I have abnormally long legs. All in all the look and feel of the jeans are great. Just wish they were maybe one size bigger. My advice is if you’re a 34.. maybe think about going for a 36?

These jeans look good enough to wear out. They are a bit heavy due to the Kevlar and thick denim. Good pockets with buttons so you don't have to worry about losing your wallet and keys.

GREAT Street Riding Pants!!
These jeans fit well, have good kevlar lining, are comfortable, but are heavier denim with the kevlar lining. Highly recommend!

Great pair of jeans
Wouldn't wear these to the track, but they are great for what they are. The area of kevlar is generous around the knees and butt, but thickness isn't. I'm pretty conservative, and wear armor underneath if speeds over 35/40 mph are in store. But perfect to throw on and run down to the store. (There is plenty of room for armor underneath.) These *look* good, which is important, too. I'd say use your real waist size for sizing. Maybe a little big if you're on the edge. I bought my real size at 34". I have lost a bit of weight, under a 32", now. They fit fine when I was a "real" 34", and they still look and fit fine, as long as I really tighten my belt. ;)

Great product!
I love these jeans, and ride with them all the time. I have a pair of these and a pair of Draggin jeans. The Draggin jeans definitely seem more sturdy and thicker, but this also makes them heavier and more uncomfortable in the spring/summer. The style is very plain on the draggin jeans, which is fine. However, I like the style of the Shift Torque jeans better. Draggin are plain riding denims, with more kevlar, and thicker denim. The Shift jeans have a great fit, are more comfortable, and look great. Great product.

great riding jeans for the casual look
i wanted to get some more riding pants that have good protection but not look out of place when i get to a point on my ride and look like i am in just motorcycle pants. these are the best ones i have got yet. they fit true to size i were a 32 and was perfect. like how much Kevlar it has so if i do take a hit i have something before i hit skin to whatever

Very comfortable. Wash nicely. Good fit. I did get the long and had to hem them. If you don’t need long jeans normally you won’t need them with these either.

My thoughts
The pants fit my waist line, look great and feel good. The jeans comfortable, and are now one of my favorites to wear. My only concern is they are a little to long for me when Im just walking, and I try to keep them from getting torn from me walking on the hems. I would definitely buy another pair of these jeans, the price is good, they look great, and they have functionality where it counts. I was very amazed at the speed they were shipped to me, I got them in what seems like 3 days.

Nice jeans
I liked these jeans a lot, unfortunately they only come in a 32 inseam. I ordered the 32 and 34, and both were the same length (both too short for me). I ended up ordering the speed and strength jeans, which I DO NOT recommend... I like the shift pants much better.

Great Riding Jeans!
Get a size up. I am a 32 and ordered a 34. I am glad I did. This Jean is comfortable and looks great! You can step off your bike and right into a social situation. I even wear them casually. I am going to buy another pair. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great jeans!
These are some nice jeans. Fit is great (true to size) nice relaxed fit wearing around town, but somehow feel even better sitting on the bike. Fit over mx boots, knee and hip armor fine. No complaints!

1 size up!!
Got these in a 38 first time sent them back for 40's there perfect!!! in all ways, so order one size bigger. I could squeeze my butt in some 36's but mostly wear 38's but in this case 40... I'm 6'4 220. I think all riders should wear some sort of gear. After going down you'll see this kind of stuff makes a huge difference. Might as well look cool while you protect yourself....

Better than normal jeans but...
Well they fit perfect, and are definitely heavier and stronger than normal jeans and from what I’ve read they're very strong., but. Its kind of a shame that the Kevlar is not around the entire pants instead of just on the knees and butt.
Its easy to ask "What if i fell on a different part of my body and these jeans ripped" But again from the reviews ive read they're definitely much better than normal jeans, but no substitute for riding pants.

Nice riding jeans, I've been riding street since 1994 and these definitely the best fitting, feeling, and looking jeans that I have encountered. Not too baggy but snug enough to make you feel safe if you know what happens.

Great look and detail
These riding jeans look and feel great however the size of the jeans run small. I had to exchange for a bigger size. I truly recommend these fashion forward jeans for any male!
