Icon Automag Leather Overpant

‘Icon Motorsports’ and ‘leather pants’ don’t normally belong in the same sentence, or the same night club for that matter. But Icon knew that an armored leather riding pant was something that they had to do.

When Icon was developing the new Automag jacket, the timing was right to design a matching armored leather riding pant to interface with the jacket. Technically the Automag Leather over-pant tears it up with features like full length zippered legs and fully adjustable & removable CE approved knee armor. More importantly, Icon paid extra attention to keeping the aesthetics honest with Icon’s core street styling.

**Note: These pants are sized to fit as overpants. If you wear a size 34 pant, buy a size 34 Automag Overpant if you intend to wear them over your jeans. If you plan on running commando, buy a size 32.

rob Rochester,  MN Maybe the best of this type available I'm really digging these pants, but they're not perfect. They look great, the cut is stylin, and the leather is thicker than I thought it would be. I won't complain much about the knee pads because you can take them out if you don't like them, I happen to like the protection- even if they sit on my knees funny while I'm on the bike (they seem like good pads, but they kinda feel like a flat surfaced pressed against your bent knees). The closure clamp on the belt is not that great- as others have said. It works for the most part, but seems like a cheap after thought for an otherwise superb product. I find that it doesn't allow me room to tighten the waist enough, and I assume others might not have enough belt to let it out to a desired length. I do not find the butt or thigh area to be tight at all, and I'm no bean pole in that area.

Adam Walla Walla,  WA Very nice, but could use a couple minor improvements. These are very nice, durable pants that don’t sacrifice comfort for protection. The cut to fit feature ensures that it is near impossible to get the wrong length. Side zippers are heavy duty and make getting them on and off easy, even with boots on.

Greg Virginia,  MN Icon - Automag Leather Overpant High quality, offer lots of protection and are nicely styled. I ordered the correct size and must admit they may take a little stretching and breaking in. A little tight. Makes me feel like Elvis. I am confident they will turn out well when tried out--which is a little difficult now in northern Minnesota.

Reginald Martin Ridgeland,  MS Nice Pants Made a difficult decision between chaps and overpants. The quality is excellent, there is excellent attention to detail in the articulating areas. The fit is good but if you have a full buttox and thighs you will need to consider a larger size. I don't like the feel of the armor on my knees so I simply removed them. Icon needs to improve the waist closure clamp. I believe these offer superior warmth protection and comfort over chaps. They have proven to be an excellent asset during cold weather commutes to and from work! (30F)

Chas Moscow,  PA Great pants Received them as a gift, I wear them with my Tourmaster Coaster II Jacket. The pants are great though I probably would have purchased the matching Tourmaster pants. I'm 6-2 and 230 lbs. The size 36 fits perfect over my jeans. Also long enough - even when seated on the bike. I have to give it the highest ratings because they are high quality. The only minor thing I can think of is that they don't stay up on my waist as much as I'd like them to. It's not that they fall down or that it's a big deal. They just sag a little if you're off the bike for a little while. I haven't sewn in the jacket zipper yet. I expect that the zipper will eliminate the problem. I'd recommend them.

Jered Vernon,  BC Jered, BC These pants are awesome. Ordered them from Canada so add an additional $100.00 to the cost to cover tax and duty. As well had to have the pants tailored. Add another $100.00. I am 5'8, 190 pounds with a 34 inch waist. Ordered the 32's. Still had to have them tailored. Still with approx. $600.00 invested, these are the best riding pants I've owned or seen.

Terry Lethbridge,  AB Awesome Pants I've had these pants for a couple of months now and they're absolutely awesome. The fit is great, not too baggy, and they look cool. The only complaint I would have is that there are no pockets, but as long as your jacket has pockets you should be good to go. Highly recommended.
