MDP Rockingham,  NC Most Comfortable Pants I have owned I own a pair of Draggin jeans and Firstgear HT Air Overpants, but these TPG are the most comfortable pants I have owned. I am large and I commute to work 100 miles roundtrip in a suit. I need pants to cover my dress pants and I wanted them to be waterproof. These work very well, but I had to buy a size larger than I wear b/c my size did not provide easy movements over my clothes. The insulation kept me warm riding in 33 degrees over the Blue Ridge Mtns and dry in a cold rain. Three improvements needed: 1) knee armor needs to be adjustable, it is too low; 2) the leg zippers needs to go higher, it is difficult to get over my boots; and 3) need to be able to adjust the inseam length, I have a 30" inseam and these only come in 33".

Mario New York,  NY TPG Escape Pants I have only used them twice so far. They fit well, I ordered the 32 and I am a 32, the waist has enough room to tuck in a sweater without getting too tight. Wore them in 40 degree temp without the liner and was comfortable. The leg zipper only goes up to the knee, kind of defeats the purpose of an overpant. The knee armor is too low even while on the bike and is uncomfortable as a result. I like them overall, but those two issues would stop me from buying again.

Eric milford,  NJ First pair? Go Firstgear !!! These are the first pair of overpants/riding pants that I bought. I was pleasantly surprised by the fit, comfort, and warmth that these offered. The padding inserts are a little off in placement, but they'd work in a spill. I liked the outer pockets and leg zippers. Made for easy on/off of the pants. Would recommend these to anyone.

Al holtsville,  NY TPG escape pants Great fitting pants. Well worth the money. With the liner out very comfortable in spring early summer. Rain protection was excellent. Only complaint is that knee protection rides too low even in sitting position (I have a 30" inseam).

ARCHIMEDES SEQUIM,  WA A GOOD FIT When I first tried on the pants I noticed the knee armor was down to my shines but when I sat on my bike with both feet on the pegs the armor went right over my knees.

David Marshall,  VA One Year Review The pants are still going strong. During the winter the liner really worked well while still allowing me to move around reasonably well. It seems to be the only downside to the pants is the leg zipper - yes, it is not full length. However, when you have the liner in you wouldn't want your boots sliding through there anyway. Also, the zippers are waterproof - more expensive so why have it full length? These pants seem to be bulletproof and, though I have yet to test the armor (...a good thing), it seems that Knox makes some quality gear. I really like the hip protection and it fits well. The waterproof pocket comes in handy. A+ and worth the extra $$ to me.

Leo Aronson Eureka,  CA warm and toasty pants Excellent pants and an even better liner. the liner is very warm. It is almost too thick to wear longjohns under unless its gonna be a cold day of riding, like below mid 30's. When its really hot you almost want more vents but you can zip up the lower leg and get a little more air flow. grat when coupled with the rainier jacket i highly recommend both items for comfortable touring.

Frank Jiron Antonito,  CO Firstgear TPG escape pants Excellent pants, well worth the price. Could be a bit easier to put on and take off with a full length side zipper though. Everything else is first rate.

Frank Jiron Antonito,  CO Firstgear TPG escape pants I purchased a pair of these pants and the Teton jacket and at first I was a bit worried about spending that amount of cash on my first riding suit but when I received the two pieces I was elated. I immediately tried them on expecting to possibly have to send one or both back for the correct size. Not the case. The pants fit great although the inseam seemed a bit long at first. When I put on my favorite riding boots they were perfect. The armor seems a bit low for the knees but when I sat on the bike they hiked up right into place. I like the liner, pockets, adjusting straps, almost everything about them. I rated them only 4 stars due to the side zippers as someone else noted in their rating these pants are difficult to slip over your boots. A full zipper may make it be a bit easier to slip in and out of these pants. These pants are also comfortable. They may look bulky but they seem to move with the rider and don't seem to restrict my movement. After looking at them for a long while I realized that I got a great set of pants for the price. And with the matching Teton jacket I'm ready to roll in style and comfort, wet weather or dry, warm days or cool nights. I'm going to wear these a lot because they look good too. Thanks to Firstgear and Motorcycle Superstore.

Sir Scootsalot Elkridge,  MD Warm & Dry but with issues... I have never been cold or wet while riding with them on and they are great for 35-70deg riding. But, they do have a few drawbacks. First off, because they only unzip to the knee, you have to remove your shoes to get them on and off. Secondly, they don't cinch up around the bottom of the leg. And lastly, the knee padding is positioned too low for a normal height rider and is non-adjustable.
