Scott Andersen Indianapolis,  IN Great Overpants for Cold Weather Love these overpants. To date, I have worn them on my commute to work with temps down to the mid 30's and have not had any issue with my legs getting cold. I plan to be able to ride with temps as low as 20 without an issue. To me, the pants are too warm for temps above 60. I have worn them over jeans, dress pants, and even shorts (when going to the gym), and my legs have stayed warm.

Mark M Lumberton,  NJ Gets me out of the house These pants are terrific in the cold weather 35-45 degrees. I followed a suggestion in getting twice my regular size and they fit great. If I take the liner out I can slip them over my jeans. I'm 50 yrs old and didn't want to look like a rolling advertisement and these did not disappoint.

Vince Midlothian,  VA Fieldsheer Apollo 2 Pants These pants are awesome no doubt a good move to pick them up for colder riding but remove the zip out liner and they are great for mild temps also. Only a few observations the liner is way too short in the leg area it barely goes past your knees and I'm 6'3". Also the zipper on the pants that would attach to my Fieldsheer jacket is different size teeth I was hoping the company would use the same size zippers on their clothing. One other feature I'm glad these pants have is the plastic body armor. All in all these pants are a 10 out of 10.

Gary Springfield,  MO Fieldsheer Apollo II Pants These are excellent riding pants. The fit is good, they're comfortable as well as durable. You won't need the insulated lined though unless you’re riding in very cold weather.

Todd Waldorf,  MD Apollo 2 Pants are Toasty! I usually buy Firstgear but decided to try this price point pant on clearance and am very happy. I bought the 2xl since the xl was sold out and glad I got the 2xl, they run a bit small. I'll use a pair of suspenders with these and I rode for 2 hours+ in 30 degree dry weather with liner in and they are toasty and comfortable. This is a great pant for the price and won't hesitate to purchase another Fieldsheer product.

Donny verplanck,  NY ok pants for your $ Nice pants but could do better wish it had more reflective material, fits nice over boots but straps are to loose, hip padding is good but ce armor in knees fits a little strange. Good pants, but not great. All an all a good purchase, great price and great shipping

Alonzo Woodbridge,  NJ Very nice pants! I bought these pants for protection from the elements in the winter. After riding for a couple of weeks with them I can say these pants are great. The lining does a very nice job of keeping you warm. There is plenty of protection and the knee pad protection can be adjusted up or down to accommodate any height. The negative is that the pant’s size run small so definitely order 1 or 2 sizes larger if you plan to use these with the lining over pants. I normally wear L-XL size and after a return had to purchase the 2XL size for a comfortable fit. Otherwise great pants.

Don Banks,  OR Good pants under 3 digits If you can get these for under 3 digits with shipping, go for it. I have come to prefer the shorter side zippers instead of the full length ones. It has a quilted liner. I replaced the thin hip armor with ce. It has snaps at the waist along with velcro. A good pair of waterproof, off season pants.

Ed Kingston,  MA Appollo Pants I am 6-1, 200 pounds and the XL regular fits great. These pants are good quality and a real value at the sale price. They are very warm (liner in) and windproof on those cold New England days. I like the hip and knee protection and the snap plus the adjustable velcro closure system at the waist. One minor issue is that the velcro closure will sometimes pull loose when I bend at the waist. Count me satisfied.

Steve Iowa City,  IA These pants are great! I ordered the 2009 Adventure pants before these, loved those as well but size wasn't quite right so I returned them and decided to try the Apollo 2. These are great, I've taken them through pouring rain and 45 degree weather so far. Very dry and warm they will keep you. The knee pads ARE ADJUSTABLE so you can change the height, I remember so other people who reviewed mentioned it was a little off, you can move them higher and lower, many other pants don't allow this. The only thing I could say that could be improved is the inner liner that could be about 6 inches longer as it seems it's just a bit shorter than the outer pant. That way if it's windy my ankles don't get cold. If you adjust them and use the velcro straps it's not a problem, esp. with boots. These are great though.

Glenn Greensboro,  NC Great Pants! Used these in some pretty bad rain on a chilly night and they performed well. It feels like you may be getting wet, but it's just trapped moisture not rain or additional moisture getting in! Thumbs up!

Matt Eagle River,  AK Ran tighter than I thought I love the pant so far, but unfortunately they run smaller than expected and I haven’t been able to wear them on a ride yet. I need to lose a few more pounds yet to try them out. But from what I have seen and could tell, they seem to be very nice.

Jeffrey Delray Beach,  FL First Pair Minor issue with the knee armor sitting slightly lower than square over my knees, but easily fixed (good level of adjust ability). Kind of rides up when I sit into the saddle especially with jeans underneath given that it isn't an over pant. Pants become extremely warm in hot weather as there aren't any places to vent perspiration which makes the waterproof liner a double-edge sword.

Jordan St. John's,  NL Fieldsheer Apollo 2 Pants Ordered these pants in XL and the fit is excellent (I'm 6 ft and approx. 200lb). With the lining they are very comfortable and warm. I've used them in weather that is around 1 deg. C and they were perfect. Haven't used them in the rain yet so can't comment on the water resistant ability of the pants. Without the liner they are still comfortable and seem like they will be good for warmer weather, even though we don't get a lot of warm weather here in Newfoundland, high 20 deg C at the most. Highly recommend these pants for the quality and cost benefit.

Curtis Wilsonville,  OR Fieldsheer - Apollo 2 Pants These pants fit well to my typical size over jeans. I tried some other Feildsheer pants that were tight and needed a size larger to fit over my clothes and didn't fit well everywhere. This design is well made and very functional. Recommended

Ben Fredericton,  NB Excellent pant for the price These are the first pair of motorcycle pants I've ever bought, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. The fit great and I can still squeeze them on with a pair of jeans underneath with the liner. I bought them mainly for use with cold weather, but look forward to trying them out in the summer without the liner. The pockets are actually useful, the knee armor fits my knees just right, and the hip armor is comfortable and makes me feel like I'm in the Iron Man costume. They've also proven to be rain resistant, though I don't think I'd want to push my luck and use them specifically for rain gear on an extended trip. Overall, a great buy!

Greg Olympia,  WA Apollo Pants worth the price. Needed pants for daily commute of 35 miles on interstate. Bought size large for 34" waist/inseam, fit well but could use an extra 1" on length. Knee pads do not seem like they will stay in place if needed. Side zipper needs to be a little longer up leg, very difficult to get pants off over boots. Very warm and dry, have ridden in heavy rains with temps 32-55 degrees without liner and stayed very comfortable. Waist band is stretchy and is not waterproof. Overall very happy with these pants for the price.

Jarret Knoxville,  TN Apollo 2 pant Pants appear to be well build, and of Quality material. Pads are well placed for my ht. (6'2") Length was a little too short though, I have a 34" pant inseam and these pants needed to be about 2" longer. Also bottom zipper could have been longer; I am unable to slip pants over shoes. More pockets would have been nice or at least a zipper that allowed you to get into whatever you had on underneath. Overall I like the pants for the money, but if I could do it again I would have paid a little more for a pant with more of what I wanted.

Chuck Bradley Atlanta ,  GA Not good guality I bought two pair of these (07 model) for me and my wife. On the third day my waist seam ripped. On the fifth day one of the cinching clips ripped off. They are comfortable and warm in winter (with liner) and cool in summer. Just wish they would have lasted longer before things started falling apart.
