Fine, but I wish the distressed trend would go away
I don't like the distressed look, and the fit is a little more snug than I'm comfortable with. I normally wear "loose" jeans, like Levis 560s. I ordered them in the same size (34x32) and these feel a little tighter in the thighs than my normal 560s. The leather panels are fine, and the removable kneepads are not obstructive at all. I wore these to a barcade and spent the night playing Pump It Up (a dancing video game, look it up) and didn't have any problems.

Not what I expected from description
Before I purchased them I checked many other jeans and decided to go with them because of CE armor and style pictured. I went one size up (34 - I wear 32) and they still feel small. Did not like them since they are a different style than pictured. Also pockets where you insert CE armor was sewn shut (had to cut it open with razor blade) May be just me but would give them 2 and a half stars and would not recommend.

nice jeans but knee armor is not great
I like the jeans - fit and finish are good. However, as other reviews have noted, the knee armor tends to sit too low and to the inside of the knee. I think in a crash the armor is likely to shift around a great deal - unclear if it will be very protective. I think I'm going to need to get a different system for knee armor and then just take the armor pads out of these jeans to wear on top - given this, they are overpriced.

Worth the price
The pants are worth the price. $107.00 is a small price to pay to protect your legs if something does go wrong.. I’d rather say I'm glad I had the pants than I WISH I Had the Pants! I haven't put them to the ultimate test and hope I never do. The pants are nice, you can tell that the jean material is thicker. Wearing them you don't get over heated in hot weather but in cold weather they are nice and don't let the wind through keeping your legs a little warmer. Style wise you can't notice that they are riding jeans they don't look bad but they are not designer jeans either, they have a job to do and they do it well looking good.....Caution.... The leg length is short.... If you are standard leg length I recommend you go with the longer leg length. If you are longer leg length suck it up and get them anyway! Or buy a different kind but REMEMBER the alternative is a wire brush scraping and digging pebbles, dirt, sand, and grit out of your leg. Like I said, I'd rather say I'm Glad I Had Them Than I Wish I Had Them. Ride Well.

Pants look great and fit well. I'm normally a 36w 34ins and that's what I ordered. Waist was perfect. Length was a little long but when I get on the bike they were perfect. The leather reinforcement in the seat and knees was well done. The protective knee guards took some adjustment but are fine. You really can't see the knee guards. $100 jeans but there's a lot there. At least they have some protection and heavy-duty denim.

Knee protection area/positioning
These pants are great, the main complaint I would have is that the knee coverage is a bit low even though the pants are not too long. Really it should start where it does, but extend further up the leg (with a bent knee it is about right, though still a bit low). It just wouldn't protect very much except your shins if you were thrown off the bike..However if you stayed with the bike it would help a great deal..

Best Riding Jeans
This is by far the best pair if riding jeans I have purchased. Fit is great, thinking I should of went a little longer in the leg as they ride up, however, plenty of length standing. Knee pads work well with the velcro. Will buy a second pair in the spring.

Mod Denim Pants
Very comfortable and good looking pants. Fit perfectly. Sometimes I wear it all day during the work. They should have a button on the rear pockets where I put my wallet.
