Great jacket
Good fit and features, looks great. Just rode from NY to Virginia in heavy rain, jacket performed well, kept me dry. I did not like the back protector, to stiff. Changed it out for one from an old cortech jacket, much better. Over all I am very happy with this jacket.

Great Jacket for Foul Weather

Ballistic 7.0 Jacket
The arms were too tight and overall the jacket did not run true to size. I ended up buying a First Gear jacket. It was more money, but a far superior product.

Great Jacket with lots of features
I bought this jacket for a 3000 mile trip and it surpassed my expectations. I rode in temperatures ranging from 35-85 in the same day, thunderstorms in Kansas, cold and rain in the Rocky Mountains and sleet at 13000 feet. I was always dry and comfortable. The jacket has lots of vents, lots of pockets, great armor, a good liner, and even a pocket for an extra helmet visor. I like the coverage of the hip length and it was easy to clean on the road. There is nothing like good gear to help make a trip successful and this the Joe Rocket 7.0 Ballistic Jacket certainly fits the bill. I highly recommend it.

Too much jacket
This is a serious jacket, too much jacket for my needs. I exchanged it for something lighter but here's my take on the jacket. Construction and finish is very good. Sizing runs big I'm 6"4' 275# and a 2XL tall was to tall.

Love my Joe Rocket - Ballistic 7.0 Jacket
Im a new rider and was in need of a jacket. I had seen several Joe rocket jackets around but after reading several reviews on the web I decided to go for it. It fits well and is very comfortable so far in the Northeast. I can’t say how it will feel when its 90 degrees out but we have gotten into the 80's and it’s remained well ventilated when stopped. Lots of features, pockets, etc. My old complaint is the main zipper gets stuck every so often and requires some pushing and pulling to get going. This should not happen to a new jacket. I've noticed a pocket zipper is a bit feisty. Perhaps its just needs to be broken it. Otherwise i love the jacket.

I've only put about 2,000 miles on this coat and have not been in the rain yet, however I have been in some cool weather and really hot in the same day and it performs very well. Even without the liner it has good wind protection. The venting system is one of the best for this type of jacket. I bought my wife one also. She loves it.

bad zippers
This jacket seems great in almost every aspect except the tabs on the zippers have broken off of both sides and frankly they can't be used. My bike doesn't have any storage on it, so I rely on my jacket's pockets. I can't now. Other than that, the jacket is awesome.

One COOL jacket!
I really like this jacket. It is nice and warm with the liner in. The same jacket is nice and cool when you open up the vents. I have had good luck with all the Joe Rocket gear I have used. I have only had the jacket for about a month so I can't speak to its durability but the other Rocket gear I have seems to be of good quality.
