Keith Edward Owens Cumming,  GA Wasted Money First off, let me say I am a big fan of Fieldsheer products...usually. I bought this jacket for cooler weather and days when precipitation is forecast. After reading many reviews that these jackets ran small I ordered a size larger than my normal. This was a big mistake because the neck is so big the jacket fills with air and you freeze to death. I think if my regular size had been ordered this would have been a little better. Maybe the new version addresses these issues but this jacket is going to auction.

Tim Wichita,  KS Nice Jacket This is my 1st motorcycle jacket and was surprised how good it fit. I purchased an XL, I’m 6’2 205 and it fit perfect. I was worried about short arms but they are plenty long. The only thing that would have been nice is if the liner were a second jacket that you could wear out, it looks really cheap compared to the outer shell. I also road in the rain and I was completely dry. Shoulder pads and elbow pads are really good but gotta agree with another reviewer about the weak back pad other than that I’m satisfied with the purchase.

Silver cincinnati,  OH Home run! They knocked it out of the park with this jacket. I have ridden in temps below 30`, and in the rain with no surprises. Very comfortable, the vents work great, and you can't even tell the armor is there. I'm 5'11" 165lbs and the medium fits like a glove with no binding. A deal at even twice the price!

Greg C St. Louis,  MO Great jacket... I've had this jacket for a few weeks now. I've ridden with just a long sleeve shirt down to the mid 30's with no problems. I did get caught in the rain today for almost 2 solid hours. Rain was anything from a drizzle to a down poor that made visibility horrible. The jacket leaked in two places: 1. At the end of each sleeve and 2. Front belly. I was wearing gauntlet Aqua Sport gloves (which also leaked). I'm thinking water ran down the sleeve and into my gloves then wicked back up the jacket, but I can't be sure. I was not 100% dry for sure. Other than that the jacket preformed well. I'm 5'-11" - 185 lbs. I purchased the "Large" and it fits a little snug under the under arms. I like my jackets a little snug, so it works well for me. I doubt I would have liked the XL. Good luck.

C. Martin Casablanca,  AE Great Jacket This is a great Jacket , I love it! You may find something better, but I doubt you'll find anything this nice in this price range. With the liner in it is very warm. With the liner out it stays cool as long as you are moving. Using this Jacket in the summer in the city may be too hot but it has great ventilation so even in the summer you can wear it on long trips. Lots of pockets and built great.

Allen Seattle,  WA Fieldsheer Jacket I never bought one of those $400 jackets so I can't compare. This one seems to do the job just fine. I've been in light rain and it kept me dry. Low temp so far, has been about 45 degrees with long sleeves and a vest under, quite comfortable. Ample armor, the shoulders are wide enough to scare small children. I don't know what else you could want. Great jacket for the price. Color does not quite match the bike, oh well.

Richard Thompson Gray Summit,  MO Nice jacket I ordered the same I normally wear (XL 6' 215 lbs.). The jacket fits fine, but with the liner I don't think that I could wear a jacket under it. But I have ridden in 40 degree weather without the liner and just a t-shirt under it and was comfortable. I would recommend this jacket.

Jeff Richmond,  VA Nice Jacket So far the Aqua Tour has been great. Haven't been below 40 deg F but I’m assuming it will be fine with an extra layer....Rode 120 miles in moderate rain and was satisfied with the amount of protection from the rain. Jacket feels solid, glad I decided to spend the money.

Anthony Boiling springs,  SC Best value for the money! The Fieldsheer Aqua Tour Jacket is the best jacket for the money! Two days after I got the jacket I wore it on a trip across the Blue Ridge Mountains with weather in the 40's and was very warm. This jacket has plenty of pockets, warm waterproof liner and lining, body armor, etc. This jacket has it all! If you are looking for a great all weather jacket but don't have a big budget this jacket is what you need to buy!

Joe Hughesville,  PA Fieldsheer Aqua-tour jacket Only worn about 5 times so far. Coldest day was 33 and jacket was warm enough with an additional liner worn underneath. If temp is 40 or above, no additional liner is necessary. I am quite satisfied up to now with the jacket. Sizing seems to be pretty accurate.

Carl Chattanooga,  TN Very Good Product at Great Price I just rode 200 miles in this in cloudy weather with temps in the 60s (incl. some at night). With respect to other reviews, I'd echo the bit about the pockets - there are many pockets (yay) but getting in them is challenging even without gloves. Part is that most zips are under Velcro flaps so it's a 2 part operation. Now, as for warmth, the liner is awesome, the neck does let in a bit of cold air, and the cuffs let in a good bit of cold air esp. at hwy speed. Now, it was only 62F at night but I was getting rather chilled from it. Not sure how much gauntlets would have helped - perhaps a good bit - but I still don't get how anyone could wear a t-shirt under it in 30-40 degree weather and still be warm even with gauntlets. I can only guess they also had lots of radiant sunshine and were behind a windscreen. Note: Durability rating set at 3 because it's too early to tell.

Sean Fort Collins,  CO Great Fit and Value! I am 6ft tall and 140 lbs and the XS fits PERFECT. I would highly recommend measuring out your chest and arm length to get your appropriate size. The Aqua Tour is a great jacket with many pockets and it is very comfortable. The vents work great when your going high speeds, you can really feel the jacket expand from all the air, although the rain guard(non-removable) prevents you from feeling most of the effects. I do not recommend this jacket for hot weather(>95 degrees F). I have yet to wear it with the removable quilted layer, but I'd imagine it would be plenty warm for winter riding.

Jeff Napa,  CA Nice features--Nice price This jacket has some great features to adjust the fit, so you can customize it for your body type. One thing that can't be customized is the neck opening. I'm thin so the neck is a little bigger that ideal for me. Otherwise this is a heavy duty (and heavy weight), warm, comfortable, full featured jacket. I haven't worn it in the rain, and don't intend to, but if I get caught in a storm, I can tell the jacket will keep me dry. Getting it on sale was a bonus.

David Wichita,  KS Aqua Tour Jacket I bought the jacket on sale, you could not beat the price. I ordered a 2XLT as I'm 6 ft 6-inches. The jacket is long, the sleeves are very long, so be warned. I bought the jacket for cold weather riding, and so far I have used the jacket down to the low 40's with just a T shirt underneath without being cold. I rode through a rain storm yesterday and stayed dry. So far no stitching failures or pulled out snaps. Just a great jacket for the price.

John Sayre Whispering Pines,  NC Fieldsheer Aqua tour Darn if this is not the best scooter jacket I have ever owned. It has excellent coverage, and is very good in the rain. More than enough storage with very good closures for the pockets. The only negative aspect is when ordering thing one or two sizes larger. I ordered a large from another company (that would not accept a return) and I ended up fitting nicely in a 2XL so my wife has a matching jacket now. Motorcycle superstore is really the best place to buy all your Motorcycle needs.

Derek Hill Bend,  OR Fieldsheer - Aqua Tour Jacket Great jacket I'm 6.1 and 230Lbs and the 2xl fit perfect. After removing the liner you’re pretty comfortable to about 90 degrees after that you start getting hot. Great jacket for the Northwest where your temps can be very hot to very cool with a nice dose of rain/snow. Great pockets and the quality is very good. I would say this is the very best Spring/Fall jackets you could buy for any price.

Nicolle Vancouver,  WA Nice and warm! With the liner in, this jacket is incredibly warm. Without the liner, it's great for those in between days when it's too cool for a mesh jacket but too warm for a full winter coat. It could definitely use a raised collar as the wind goes right down your neck and chest. I chose a size to fit my waist, but the arms are pretty long. For the price, it's a great jacket!

Steve Santa Rosa,  CA Fieldsheer - Aqua Tour Jacket Does an excellent job keeping out the cold and wet - I've worn it down to 34 degrees and in light rain & drizzle, highway and street. Front pockets keep items dry, although it's a mild ordeal getting items out - definitely a gloves-off task. Inside pocket is on the right, not the standard left. Liner is removed easily. Cuffs easy to adjust w/ gloves on. Hopefully it will retain its integrity over the long-run.

MERLE BELLINGHAM,  WA AQUA TOUR First time was yesterday 2 14 09. 43 deg. Noticed right away a very cold neck. I noticed it had no collar what so ever to keep the rain out. If you get caught in the rain, water will run down your helmet on your neck and down your shoulders. Other than that it is a very warm jacket but I bought it because it rains a lot here in Washington so in that regards the jacket is useless to me and I wasted a lot of money

David Urdiales kinder,  LA fieldshere tourmaster I bought a XL coat, I'm 6'1/205#. Exchanged it for a XXL, no hassle on the exchange. The quality gets an 8, the zipper could be larger. The lower limit for me would be 40 degrees with a heavy long sleeve shirt with a tee shirt under. The liner needs to come out if it warms up above 60 degrees wearing the same shirt & tee shirt. I guess a lot depends on how much wind protection your bike has. I haven't been caught the rain yet to give my opinion for this. Happy doing business with Superstore. Would recommend the coat for the value.

Brad Framingham,  MA Great Jacket I recently bought this jacket and just went on a 340 mile ride through Vermont, 45 degrees not including the 25 mph chilly winds that made it feel like mid 30's. I wore a turtle neck and long sleeve shirt underneath this Aqua Tour jacket and felt very comfortable. I normally put use a Widder electric vest too but left it in my saddle bag. The construction looks very well done. I like the snap adjustments for the elbow armor too. During the ride it down poured very heavy for about 25 min. and I experienced no leaks. It fits extremely comfortably especially in riding position on my Honda ST1100.

Dave Anderson,  SC That's a jacket! If you want something to keep you warm and safe, this is your jacket! VERY warm, and I feel very protected. Cheap back armor for some reason, but everything else is A+. Do NOT buy this for summer, though. It is a winter jacket. Sur5er Houston,  TX Excellent 3 season jacket Got the jacket about a month ago, and can't say enough good things about it. I'm glad I looked through the reviews before ordering and followed the advice of others and ordered a size larger than I normally would have. 6'1" and 210# and an XL fit great. Really like the adjustment features (snaps and Velcro) lots of pockets for everything you could possibly need. About the hand warmer pockets, the openings are a little on the smallish size, but that's just me nit-picking. This jacket is plenty warm with the removable liner installed, and ventilated enough without it, for most riding climates. But it does get warm in here in Houston, so about April I'll put this one away and pull out my mesh. Have yet to test it in the rain, but it's just a matter of time! Bottom line, I would recommend Fieldsheer Aqua Tour to anyone looking for a high quality, reasonably priced touring jacket.

Chris Kirkland,  WA Wanna Get Wet? This jacket looked good, fit well and had nice features. However, I wore it for two days. Day one a snap pulled through the fabric. Day two I got caught in a rainstorm and ended up wet in about five different areas. The thing seemed to leak through just about every seam. Although Fieldsheer has been around a long time and I respect their products, this one had definite issues.

Steven Renton,  WA Great Jacket This is a great jacket that will keep you warm and dry in the worst rain. I frequently ride 150 miles between Portland and Seattle and this jacket kept me bone dry, wearing only a t-shirt underneath. Sizing: I was right on the cusp between sizes of XL (44-46) and 2XL (46-48). Having ordered both, the 2XL was just a little too big and the XL was just right (typically I wear a 46 in jackets).

Mal Southern Illinois,  IL Great Jacket I bought a tall size due to my long arms and after wearing it probably didn’t need the tall size. When standing the cuffs come a couple of inches past my wrist. This is not a bad thing as Velcro cuff adjustment keep them at wrist. Also the longer arm length is perfect when reaching for the bars. Rode in torrential rain for 4 hours and not a drop got inside. Plenty of pockets, zipping quilted liner and back and upper arm breathing zippers. Got a few loose threads with wear but nothing that would degrade my finish score of 5. Pockets everywhere and even a small packet of spare press studs in one of the pockets. I would buy another but not in tall size.

Larry Johnson Flat Rock,  AL Aquatour I just wore this jacket on parts of a 900 mile weekend trip. I found it comfortable up to almost 90 degrees. The last day we rode 300 miles home through the tail of Hurricane Ike's rains. I stayed dry and pretty cozy inside my jacket with only a t-shirt on underneath. It would have been perfect with a long sleeve T. I had left the liner at home. I'm very pleased with this jacket. One of my riding buddies is shopping for one of his own.

Joseph Cook Blue Ridge,  GA Excellent product.... This jacket works extremely well, and has many features. I used it during a heavy downpour for about 30-45 minutes, and the only thing that got wet was my shirt where the zipper zips up. I don't believe it came through the jacket though, but I believe it ran down my helmet and poured down into my jacket. I would most definitely buy this jacket again without any hesitation. Michael O'Dell Zebulon,  GA Aqua Tour Jacket I usually take a medium but this one is a large and the fit is tight. The product is great. I haven't had a chance to ride in the rain or cold. I have rode in 90 degree days and high humidity with the vents open and it works good. Only start to sweat when you have to stop. It is a great product for the price. John Holmes Omaha,  NE Amazing Riding Jacket I bought both the S and M, b/c I was on the boarder between the two and ended up keeping the Medium. The fit and feel are super good. I bought this jacket b/c of all the positive comments, and my experience is also positive. The removable liner is an asset for winter riding, and I like the two way main zipper (prevents jacket from getting all bunched up in front). Venting is also good. Mike Kersey,  PA You won't go wrong with this one! I bought this jacket for cold-weather riding, especially for commuting back and forth to work. So far, I've used it in temperatures in the low-30's with nothing but a short-sleeved shirt on underneath and was completely warm! I hate the cold, so if I was warm, most people will be warm too. I was considering much more expensive jackets, but took a chance on this one based on a friend's suggestion. Boy I'm glad I did - this jacket just plain works and fills my needs just fine for less than half the price!

Mike Kersey,  PA Great jacket! Like everyone else, I bought this jacket to ride on cold days that I normally wouldn't. This jacket fits the bill nicely. As an example, this morning it was 29 degrees, and with nothing but a short-sleeved shirt on underneath, this jacket kept me nice and toasty, even at 65 MPH. There are plenty of pockets, and the zip-out liner makes this a year-round jacket. Even with the liner in though, I've never broke a sweat. With afternoons in the 70's, I just open the vents and am just as comfortable. All-in-all, I'd buy this jacket again in a heartbeat! It's a great value for the price. It just plain does what I need it to do well.

It's got plenty of pockets and when you take the liner out, the pockets in the liner are duplicated inside the shell, meaning that with the liner in or out, you have the same number of pockets! The fit is great too. It would be nice to be a little looser in the belly area but that's my problem. Length is perfect! Elbow armor extends to forearm which is nice. All in all, I LOVE this jacket!!

Paul Portland,  OR FS Aqua Tour I really like this coat. I found that the sizing runs big, I wear a large in all of my Alplinestar coats, but I had the chance to try this in a brick & mortar before ordering and I'm glad that I did. The large fit okay, but the medium fit much better. Other than that the jacket is great. Tons of pockets, vents look well-placed; the liner keeps me nice and warm. I haven't had a chance to check out the waterproofness of the jacket yet though. A lot of coat for the price. I would buy it again.

Eric Morrison Warwick,  RI All together a great jacket The fit on this jacket was perfect! I measured my chest and ordered per the size chart. The plastic armor falls right where it should. It is warm and the wind does not penetrate. Some of the stitching on the cuff of one sleeve loosened up a bit but that is not a major issue. There are pockets everywhere, inside and out. The velcro has a tenacious grip. Motorcycle superstore shipped it quickly in an appropriately sized box, with a hanger even!

Tim Greenlee Wichita,  KS Good jacket for the money Fits well. Sizing is right on. Nice looking. Like the pockets with velcro flaps. Would like the collar to be taller. Haven't worn in the rain yet. Overall a real nice jacket for the money.

Rob Walker Calgary,  AB Nice Jacket I really like this jacket. Tried several from a local store, but none fit as nicely as this did. And the cost for this jacket was much less than what I'd have to pay locally. Very happy with this purchase.

Lyn Eckstein Dallas,  TX Fieldsheer Aqua Tour Jacket This jacket is simply the best motorcycle riding gear I've ever owned. Lots of large secure pockets, excellent fit and finish, quilted liner, good looks and armor combined with being totally windproof make riding in all kinds of weather enjoyable. This is the perfect touring jacket. The well placed wallet pocket located high on the front closure made stops easy and convenient when accessibility would have ordinarily meant either opening the jacket or digging in a hip pocket for cards or cash. Armor includes back, shoulders and elbows for extra protection, all removable for cleaning. The jacket is a great buy at a great price!

Yakov Kun Brooklyn,  NY Excellent jacket I got this jacket to start riding during winter time. I live in Brooklyn, NY and used the jacket in temperatures between 57 – 28 and it performed exceptionally well. If it's very cold, I use three layers, t-shirt, light sweater and vest that covers my neck. If it's warmer, I use two layers, t-shirt and a light sweater. I put my jacket and I'm comfortable. I ride for about 40 minutes and 25 minutes out of 40 on the highway. I recommend this one.

Shawn NYC,  NY Great Jacket for the price This jacket is well worth the money. It keeps me nice and warm in winter weather (had it down to 30). Only issue with really cold weather would be lack of upper neck protection. The armor is nice, the shoulder and elbow being hard plastic with foam backing. The back pad is typical foam though. Jacket looks great, I even used it in a pinch for snowboarding and kept the armor in, might even make it a perm change. As for asphalt, not sure of the durability and hopefully wont as it is only 600D in some areas. Overall quality, price, fit and finish rate high.

Dave Staten Island,  NY Fieldsheer - Aqua Tour Jacket This jacket was a great buy. The price was right and the quality is very good. I bought it as a cold weather riding jacket. It's very warm and comfortable and fits me great. The velcro strip up the front zipper keeps the wind out. The pockets are a little tough to get my ez pass out of with motorcycle gloves on, but hey that's nothing. My wife tells me I look like a Canadian Mountie with the jacket on.

Jef Brooklyn Center,  MN Fantastic fall/spring jacket I live in Minnesota where fall and spring are a volatile times of year weather-wise, you can wake up in the morning to 30 degree weather and it could be 70 by afternoon with rain in between...a day can start out rainy and end up sunny and vice-versa so I wanted a jacket that could keep up with our crazy fall and springs. This jacket accomplishes that in spades, it is warm enough with the zippers closed and the liner in for 30 degree riding, yet when it warms up, you can remove the lining and open the zippers to ride back home in the 70's without over-heating. It is water resistant for rain riding without having to have a separate rain slicker and with the heavy cordura and armor, you always feel protected even if the roads get slick. About my only complaint is one of the sleeve buttons broke on me during a brisk 200 mile ride at 80mph.
