Wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this jacket but I am glad I did. The material seems to be durable, the fit is good just have to know your chest size.
Great Jacket after first one was too big!

One size over is plenty big. I went with a XXL at first and I was swimming in it. I am right around 170, 180 and 6' tall with some long ass monkey arms and an XL is perfect. Don't buy the extra back pad unless your buddy needs one or something? The Ballistic nylon is susceptible to snagging on things and it will pull a tiny loop out of the fabric that won’t go back in. It shouldn't be a problem unless you’re a bonehead like me and wear it to build deer stands with your dad.

ICON had the the jacket that was closest in fit to my frame 6'1" 180 lbs athletic build. My issue is that I have long arms, and all of the jackets that I tried on would be great in the chest and shoulders but the sleeves would end at mid-forearm. This Accelerant doesn't fit perfectly (still slightly short in the arms) but better than other brands that I have tried, and significantly cheaper than getting a tailored jacket. Very sharp looking ICON product, and not flashy. Would recommend.

I’ve owned this jacket for a few months now. I would recommend trying this jacket on before buying it. Or at least try on the Icon Accelerant or maybe the Merc to get you “Icon size.” I was thinking I would be an XL since everyone says that Icon sizes run small. Well they’re right… I wear a XXL and I’m not a “fat guy” by any means. I love this jacket because it isn’t emblazoned with logos and external armor. I picked this jacket because I wanted a good quality jacket without looking like a “biker.” I wear this on my Road King all the time. I wish the liner was warmer because you can’t layer up underneath without getting a size large enough without the neck opening being too large. I wear the jacket when it’s in the high-30’s up to the mid-70’s. Anything in the 80’s and you’ll burn up. This is a sharp jacket that gets me a lot of compliments whether I’m on the bike or not.

Order this jacket over your normal size. I ordered XL size and now I'm on a crash diet so it fits more comfortably (didn't want to hassle with returning it. Zippers seem less than the quality I'd expect for a $380 jacket and there is one small area where the stitching was less than stellar. Other than that seems like a top notch garment.
