Lotsa protection
I bought this jacket a few days ago and took it out today in 65-70 degree sunny weather. I was warm when I needed to be and cooled when i was under the sun. Leather is thick. Shoulder and forearm pads are awesome...chest pad I could do without, but great anyway. Only qualms I have with this jacket are the Velcro wrist cuffs...good idea, but annoying because it’s so thick, and shoulder pads are a bit too thick, really sticks out from the jacket...the jacket doesn’t really taper, and looks bulky, but I wouldn't trade it. I feel like I can go down *knock on wood* and be unscathed with this jacket. Highly recommended, but if you’re going for looks, this may not be the jacket for you.
I’m 215lbs. 6'0" slightly muscular build and got a size 56. I went a size up because I wanted some room for a sweater and I definitely have it in the torso area, but my arms are just right in the sleeves.

NICE COAT!
The jacket is great. Very warm for cooler temp rides. Good looking jacket. Only thing I don’t like, but I can live with, is at the wrist the cuff is so thick you may/will have trouble fitting your gloves over it (depends on your glove style). I highly recommend this coat.

Alpinestars - Halo Leather Jacket
This is a high quality jacket. The only thing that I don't like is the cuff closure, which is a Velcro type - it won't snug the opening, and makes a rather bulky mass of material at the end of the sleeve. Thus, when one wears short gloves, air shoots up the arm. When one tries to wear gauntlets, it's a bitch getting the gauntlet over the mass of material at the end of the sleeve.
Otherwise, this is a great jacket, well made, high quality leather, with excellent fit.

Nice Jacket!!
Only thing I would change is the jacket to be a little bit longer otherwise it's a great jacket. I'm 5'11" 185 lbs, I ordered my size and it fits great. On cold mornings I can snugly fit one sweatshirt under it. Haven't had it long enough to see how will hold up but it seems to be well made.

Alpinestars - Halo Leather Jacket
Quality construction, great look, and most comfortable in a riding position. I bought the black/blue version in a size 60 and it’s a little snug. But I'm 6'5 and 270.

OMG! AMAZING
I have not ridden with this jacket but I will say that I have been a backseat rider for the last 5 years and have only just recently gotten my own bike. While shopping for some riding boots I saw the Halo jacket. Grabbed a 46 and tried it on. The best fitting leather jacket I have ever worn. I didn’t want to take it off. The armor on the arms is more forearm than elbow and the shoulder pads fit me great. It was heavy but nothing like you would think a leather jacket that size would weight. Its so light. The only reason I gave the jacket a 4 is because the back pad is foam. Not an actual scaled armor or anything but the leather would really make up for it I suppose. And the cost will sure leave a whole in your wallet. All in all when I can afford it I will be buying this jacket as soon as I can. Great Job AlpineStar.
