Alpinestars - T-Omega Air-Flo Jacket Return to product detail page
I have another comment to add after wearing this jacket for six weeks: It now turns out that the taffeta liner is very poorly engineered. In addition to having the smallest cheapest zipper possible, the sleeve 'snap-tab' which attaches the liner to the jacket sleeve is the poorest design ever conceived: The liner's sleeves must be attached to the jacket by a 'snap-tab’ attached to the liner sleeve. The 'snap-tab' must be run through two loops in the jacket sleeve. The loop s are flimsy, hard to see, hard to find, and hard to reach. This liner is very poorly designed and very user-unfriendly.

This is a very good looking jacket, well-made and remarkably cool and well-vented as advertised especially for riding in a hot, humid state like Florida BUT I have two issues: First, this jacket runs one full size too small. Do not size what you actually wear - order one size larger. Now for the real problem: The front zipper is way, way too small, cheap and puny for this jacket. When you zip it up, the bottom often comes apart and you have to re-zip! The zipper size is fine for the pockets but completely unacceptable on a $200 motorcycle jacket. In addition, the zipper pulls are microscopic and impossible to grab with gloves. Even the 'hole' in the zipper pull is way too small to attach any kind of a zipper fob that would have made it easier for me to zip up. I expect manufacturers to cut corners with cheap, undersized, flimsy zippers on a $99 jacket but NOT on a $200 jacket! In fairness, everything is just as advertised: Cool, comfortable, well-vented and very sharp looking but crummy front zipper is 100% unacceptable for the price.
