Joe Toms River,  NJ Buy the HydroLiner Too I'm Going to try to not repeat what everyone else has already said about this jacket. XL sizing is dead on for 6 foot 190lbs, 42/44chst, 34/36wst and 31/32slv , w/liner out, the jacket is a little sloppy but not a problem, it still feels good. keep in mind every jacket you will try in this configuration will be loose with the liners removed. Now here is the main thing I want to point out to everyone that no one else has addressed here. I recommend if your going to buy the HI-TEMP that you buy FIELDSHEER's HYDROLINER and chuck or store the quilted liner, THE HYDRO LINER from FIELDSHEER is marketed for leather jackets, by Fieldsheer in there literature, DISREGARD THIS it is incorrect! THE HYDROLINER FITS THE HI-TEMP JACKET PERFECTLY. It snaps and zips in exactly like the Quilted liner does. However the HYDRO is thinner, windproof and waterproof. And personally I think this should have been the liner shipped with the hi-temp to begin with and not the quilted. Any how I sealed my hydoliner in a 1gal reynolds handyvac bag and threw it in my saddlebag for a rainy or chilly day.

Jamie new york,  NY great warm weather jacket I got this jacket after getting my wife the women's version. I saw how well made it was and all the features it has, so I got one for myself. The liner is great on early morning spring rides before the temp warms up. The jacket lets a lot of air through it, so when you are moving it keeps you pretty cool. I would get this jacket again without a second thought. Getting it when motorcycle superstore was having a fieldsheer sale made it an outstanding value.

Mark Cocking Tallahassee,  FL Better visibility jacket. Fits well and has a liner that can be worn as a jacket. I wanted a jacket that is visible at night and this one reflects light over the entire surface, not just some of the piping.

Michael Los Angeles,  CA nice jacket, odd sizing I liked this jacket a lot. I say & liked because I had to return it. It seems that Fieldsheer has changed its sizing since I bought my last jacket, a Fieldsheer Johnny Cool, which fit me perfectly. It was a size large, which was a bit on the small side. Perfect for my 5'11 175 lb. frame. The High Temp jacket in large felt like an extra large. I would have been happy to go for a size medium, but the sleeves on the large were already almost too short (I do have long arms). I have since purchased a size medium Fieldsheer High Flow II which fits exactly like my size large Johnny Cool.

Andrew Tampa,  FL Very Good I really like this jacket! It's comfortable and really allows the wind to pass through while riding around. The fit is a bit tighter than I had thought, but overall it fits well. Also, the included liner should be quite warm during the mild winters in Tampa.

Phil Bainbridge Island,  WA Verry happy I bought this jacket for a ride through the Midwest in July. Hot! I think it's going to work just fine. With the liner removed it flows lots of air. The 1000 denier shell pieces are strong but lightweight. It appears to be the perfect compromise between lightweight summer gear and decent protection. The collar is comfortable, and I am really happy with the liner. It's heavy enough to make the jacket wearable down into the 50's. One negative: it does seem to ride up, but that may be more about my shape than the jacket.

Mark Craig Defiance,  OH Great jacket! I bought this jacket because of its looks and function-serving as both a summer jacket and with the liner one I could wear in the colder months. Based on recommendations from other reviewers I did buy a size larger, (XL-I'm 6'1" 200 lbs.), and am glad I did. I've worn it in the cool spring months and some hot days as well and must say it is a comfortable jacket. The liner is very warm and I rode in 40 degree weather with no discomfort. With the liner removed the mesh design really allows for good air flow and I'm very comfortable even with temps in the high 80's. The armor design is well thought out and still allows for good movement and comfort. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good 3 seasons armor jacket.

Daniel LA,  CA Fieldsheer - High Temp Mesh Jacket What can I say? This features great armor and adjustable fitting. Riding at night is great, I feel very warm. I haven't used this for the summer yet, so I wouldn't know how warm it would be but the inner liner is FANTASTIC by itself. Overall this jacket is pretty good and its cheap.

Bryan Columbus,  GA Great! I purchased this jacket because of the price and the good reviews left. Black was the only color in my size when I ordered it and I was afraid it was going to be too hot in the sun, but after a few days of high 80's, it seems to be fine. I'm glad I purchased this jacket and I would do it again.

Damun Gracenin Austin,  TX Finally, a summer jacket I can tour with. I've got about a thousand miles on this jacket, Texas heat up to 97 F & spring rain. Pro: Looks good, works well. CE armor much appreciated, well positioned. Apparently good craftsmanship. Ask me in a year. Good metal zipper. Well thought-out cinches on arms, waist. Lots of pockets but see cons below. Middle: a bit less vented than others, but with a degree of protection afforded by materials, pads, panels that makes it worthwhile. Cons: The liner is way too padded and hot. On the plus side, this makes it a year-round jacket in geographic areas that don't get snow. I chucked it and use a light weight gore tex hiking jacket under for rain. Some pockets built into the mesh inner ripped immediately. Had to reinforce with iron-on nylon patches.
