Alpinestars - TZ-1 Leather Jacket
Great jacket and price. The Alpinestars sizing is always small so beware and if possible do some fit checks at the local stores first. The collor is stiff but will break in over time. Works OK in temperatures down to low 40's, any lower and I would use something else, the arms will feel a lot of air. I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for leather.

Nice!
Very nice jacket, good quality, thick well ventilated w/out liner and toasty with liner. It's fairly heavy too, and in my opinion it fits a little undersize so order one size bigger.

Alpinestars - TZ-1 Leather Jacket
Outstanding quality. I have had other brands such as Rocket, Teknic, Cortech etc..... While these are all good brands the Alpinestars is in a whole other league. Very good fit and craftsmanship. Only tiny complaint is that the size I have fits perfect everywhere except it could have been an inch shorter in the torso. I am around 170lbs and 5'7" and got the 44. Not a big deal since the shoulders, arms and chest fit perfect. This jacket is nice and tapered but cut to fit athletic builds nicely too. For 199.00 on closeout you cannot find a higher quality jacket.

Superb!
This jacket is pretty sweet. I got it as a gift a while back and it has been nothing but superb to ride in esp. on the cold mornings here in WA. The fit and finish is sturdy and rugged and would most definately save your butt should it come to that. My only complaint would be the collar. Like many others that have rated this jacket the collar is really stiff when you first get it. It didn't start to loosen up till much later but I just left it un-buttoned until it did. GREAT jacket!

I'm 5ft 8inch and weight 175lbs I ordered the 44euro/54us and it fits great. The jacket looks awesome in the blue, the leather is high quality and provides a great sense of protection in the forearm and shoulders. I ordered a back pad for the jacket as it is 100 times better than the stock pad. The new pad is extreamly stiff but feels good over all. I have been riding over 10 years and have a Icon mech textile jacket for the real hot days and the Alpinestars tz-1 for the longer cooler rides.
Bang for the buck in my opinion this is a great deal you get looks, safety, comfort and dependability all for a low cost what else do you want? Oh this should be expected by Alpinestars anyway.

Great jacket!
A little stiff at first, but once you wear it a few times, it's pretty comfortable. Very well made and will probably last a long time. Even with the liner, it may not be a great jacket for cold temps...the grey part in the arms lets a lot of air in.

Great jacket....got it on sale so it didn't dent the pocket book too much. Wasn’t sure what size to get...that part is a little confusing...there has to be a way to fix that. But overall I would defiantly buy another one. Alpinestars has a great reputation, trusted and reliable. Been riding a long time (dirt and street) and their quality is second to none. But like with all things in this world...you get what you pay for.

I got this jacket at a steal! Fits very snug and nicely. I am 95% happy with my jacket. Only thing about the jacket is the collar is little tight.

It's a perfect jacket for my needs. Being in SoCal we don't get the extreme cold, so with a good sweatshirt below this works as a great winter jacket. I've been wearing from the mid 40's to the low 70's and it works great. Pull the body warmer liner that can roll and fit in a small tank bag easily and with the air passing thru the inner arms it quite cool right into the 70's. So for me it covers most of my winter riding, don't do wet rides (if I can help it) so can't comment on that. For the price (less than $200) it's a great, thick, heavy duty well made jacket, go for it. Sizing: I'm a big guy, so went with what is a 2XL (normally XL, but you know Italian sizing) and it fit perfectly.

Just a great jacket. Great price and great protection. This is my first leather riding jacket and I feel so much more secure in it. Neck collar was a little rough at first, but has broken in nicely. Quick shipping as usual from MS. Will be back again soon!

Alpinestars - TZ-1 Leather Jacket
The TZ1 Jacket is great for winter riding. I used it in 40 degree weather with heavy winds and stayed warm. The fit is a little tight so you may want to look into getting a size up. Great durability besides the buttons. The button on the neck separated after the first use. Good clearance price overall though. Great jacket!

I am totally pleased with this jacket. I'm 6'0" 175 lbs and the 56/46 fit me perfectly. The leather is very thick and the jacket is very heavy, I feel very safe riding while wearing it. I'm worried that it will be very warm in the summer riding season, but so far it's been great at 60 degrees and below.

Bang for the Buck
I couldn't have asked for a better jacket for the money. Fitment is spot on, tons of adjustability to taylor fit it to your body, thick leather grain, and durable stitching. However the temp can shoot up on a nice warm day, due to a lack of ventilation.

Not what I was looking for!!!
I live in Texas and when I see a 58 size jacket I think American 58. Well, the jacket looked great, had all the features I liked, but it was 10 sizes too small because it was advertised in European size. Better luck next time.

ouch!
I am only 5'6 and I know that is part of the problem but I ordered the 46 ( the smallest size) and the waist and chest are great but the arms are way too long... I don’t know how someone with that long of arms could fit into the chest and waist... it completely cuts circulation off to my hands. But the worst part is definitely the collar. It feels fine until you get into a riding position and then immediately pushes directly into my neck. This my be a great jacket but it is not built for people my size!

looked and looked for a jacket that matched my CBR took a lil bit to find the one i liked but soon as i saw the TZ-1 i was set on buying it... the best jacket I’ve had ever and it looks great with my bike ...fits good but i would suggest going up a size if ya buy one... overall i would buy this jacket over again... alpinestars have never done me wrong and that is why so many people choose alpinestars.

This jacket is great. Fits well (they didn't have my exact size so I went one size up) around the chest and the length of the arms. A little big around the waist though. The finish is awesome and I love the style of the jacket and the way it looks. Also it is super durable. Great for mild and cooler whether, but for the heat it doesn't have any vents to open in the chest or back so it can get really hot. Overall, this jacket is great and I would buy it again.

Excellent alpine leather jacket
Have not worn this jacket out for a ride yet. Only to try make sure the fit is correct and it is. It's summer here in New York. It's way to warm for leather. But just overall this jacket is amazing....Better than my old Vanson (4 year old vanson).

TZ-1 Leather Jacket
This is a very high quality jacket. The leather feels and looks good, and the details are all done well. It looks great and is comfortable. I found it was sized small - and ended up going 2 sizes up from my regular size. I recommend going up 1 size when you order (i.e. order a 44 if you normally wear a 42). I find it has a good temperature range - with a t-shirt comfortable at 80 degrees, and with a medium weight thermal shirt comfortable at 50.

Good snug fit. I like that the jacket has spandex-like panels on the inner arms. It keeps the jacket "fitted", so that the sleeves have a sleek appearance. One annoyance however, the collar around the neck is very stiff (it has started loosening now). If you are wearing a Suomy helmet like me; the collar will interfere with the plastic strap retention button on the helmet. Not a deal breaker, though. I would still buy this jacket again. Good looking and "moto gp" sleek looking!

Very finely crafted jacket, a little disappointed that the arms are not entirely leather. The inner arm area is not leather. This area is cool if riding in colder weather. Fit is nice and snug, sized right for me, normally a 38/48, and fits good at this size. Tight around the neck area, hopefully will break in with time.

This jacket is the bomb. I got this jacket with a R6 I bought. I lowsided at 30 mph, very lite damage to the jacket. Pinch burn at the elbow, lite scuffing after sliding on my back for approx 25-30 feet. Still wear it and am a strong supporter of Alpinestars.

Great jacket. The fit is nice and snug the way it should be. Very good quality leather and the seams are of high quality also. Although the jacket is snug, there is still plenty of mobility for the arms. All and all, the TZ-1 is a very good jacket and I would recommend it.

This is a high quality leather jacket. The seams look very strong and the leather is great. The jacket is form fitting for sport riding, so I am glad I bought a size bigger than what I usually buy. The bigger size gave me a little extra room for comfort, especially if I take the shoulder and forearm pads out. For track days I can put the pads back in for protection and make the jacket tighter for high speeds. Alpinestars makes some good gear! I recommend it, plus they look really cool.
