Great Jacket for the Price
It is a great jacket of the price, I have a cruiser bike and this jacket is more fit of street bike, but it gets the job done in style. Lots of pockets for all the goodies to hide in. If they had more colors in a small I would buy them up.

Awesome Jacket so far
Excellent jacket. It arrived very quickly after I ordered it. Definitely high quality. Seems like it would really protect you in a fall. I got it for the sale price of $80 which was definitely worth it. It's already getting pretty cold in Massachusetts, but the liner really keeps you warm. It was around low to mid 40s out when I was wearing this, and I was almost sweating! With or without the liner, this jacket seems to fit great. The liner is thin, but it keeps you really warm. It's a bit difficult to put the liner back in after you've taken it out, but not a big hassle. The neck area is a little bit tight, but it doesn't bother me while riding. It helps insulate the jacket, keeping it warm. It has a lot of adjustments that make it a perfect fit for you. I haven't tried it in the heat yet, so I don't know if it overheats or not. It has several vents in the upper arm and in the back, so it seems like it'd keep you cool during hot weather. Would definitely buy this jacket again.

Johnny jacket
I bought the Johnny jacket for only 80 dollars and it was worth every penny. The jacket has a very nice feel and fits well. It does fit on the small side but not too bad. It has many pockets enough for all the things that I carry with me. Many vents help keep it cool in the summer but it still gets pretty warm, because the waterproof fabric doesn’t breath well. The winter liner is very warm. The only downside I would really see with it is the stitching. There were a lot of strings hanging off when I got it, and on the pocket the stitching didn't hold. I couldn’t beat this jacket for value, I am very happy with it. Other reviews mentioned that you should order a size bigger, but I ordered my size and I don’t think I would have wanted it much larger than it is, but I like a sport jacket to fit snug anyway.

Love the jacket
Fully adjustable all around good fit and works great...haven’t tried liner as not needed for now keeps me plenty warm without! Wouldn’t want to wear it when its warm out like it is in the SC summer!

Just right
I got a large (I’m usually in between a med/large) and it fits nicely. The thermal insert is too tight though, but I wouldn't use it anyway. Good deal at $79.

Johnny Jacket
The jacket fits really well, but the liner is way too big to fit inside the jacket properly. The liner is at least 1 size larger than the jacket is. This problem seems typical of Fieldsheer jackets, I also purchased the ladies jacket and it has the same issue.

Great product, little tight, not too warm in winter
I bought this because the price was great and had armor. The jacket on the outside fits great, but the inner jacket makes it very tight. There are pockets for your cell phone and wallet. The cell pocket is just the right size for my iPhone.
For summer, it has vents that you can open up and will let cool air flow, which feels great and keeps you cool all the time. It does not keep you hot like leather jackets.
For Fall/Winter. The inner jacket keeps you a little warm when it is 45-55 out, but that's it. It is easier to wear a sweater than the thick jacket. The outer jacket collar is tall enough to touch your helmet, so your neck wont get cold.
It is a great jacket for the summer and early fall. For temps below 50, I would suggest wearing a sweater instead of the inner jacket. The inner jacket is great by itself too.
The blue jacket is actually a dark blue, not purple like the image.

Great deal!
I just bought this jacket a month back. It's an awesome textile jacket. I also have a Joe rocket jacket. I think this one is a better fit for me (I am tall and slim). I got medium and it fits perfectly. In fact the inside jacket is pretty thick and I would doubt if anyone could use it except in the fall-winter transition days. The jacket without the liner is fantastic for summer. The finish and styling is very sporty. I would totally recommend this one for the price. It's a great deal !

It is a wonderful jacket. I got it for our daughter's boyfriend. It is an awesome fit and he was thrilled with it. It has the safety features that a parent would want to see a young adult maximizing. It was an excellent price. It was an all around great buy.

Fieldsheer Jacket
I am very pleased with this jacket, so far. I got it early fall '08 and it has been very comfortable riding with the liner on 45deg. days. No hot weather report yet. Fit and finish are quality; Size was right on. Definitely would buy again!

Fieldsheer-Johnny Jacket
It took over a week to receive it. When I opened the box and tried it on it was too small and one sleeve had a stain the sewing around base looked like it was comming loose. I read the reviews which said order a size larger and ordered a XL. I called Customer Service and they were out of XXL. The jacket itself looked very nice and durable, but had to return for refund. Great Customer Service in processing my refund. Motorcycle Superstore is still my place to shop.

sharp looking & great geatures
This jacket is sharp looking, fits great, but definitely get 1 size larger. I actually got 2x large for some winter riding, and I'm 170lbs 5' 11”. I love the back, shoulder and elbow armor. I layer well, but it seems to keep the wind out and the heat in.

Great Value!
Jacket comes with a removable liner that is a really nice jacket on its own! Combined they are way too bulky as the liner is really too big for the outer (you will set them side by side and think the liner is at least one size larger!). I like the outer and wear it daily. LOTS of reflective striping, 4 back vents, and very adjustable bicep and waist straps for various sizing. The back belt snap broke the very first day, but the tail is long anyway. The built quality is weak, but on sale here for only $99 was a STEAL!!!

love this jacket
Awesome for the price, good quality, great features, warm, very safe feeling, and also looks cool. I wear med. in most apparel and this jacket is true to size. Truly is waterproof, and the liner is a nice jacket on its own. When zipped up all the way it’s tight around the neck, but I hate things that are tight around my neck anyways, so it’s probably just me. Would recommend buying the separate spine protector for added safety, just seems that the spine pad in it is a little flimsy. All in all a great buy.

Johnny Jacket is ok
Hey, the jacket is pretty good. I originally bought the women's jacket and it was way too small. I am a small woman and I could barely get my hands through the arms. The mens is better. Very warm jacket, can be hot if you don’t open a vent or too, but I imagine I will quite pleased with it when it gets really cold. Starting to lose some threads, but I still like it.

Johnny jacket
This is a great jacket, especially for the price. It replaces a well worn 5 year old First Gear Kilimanjaro. The Johnny jacket has MUCH better padding(CE approved) has lots of venting(front and back) and a very warm liner. The liner even has numerous pockets for phones, note pads, pens and stuff. The Red jacket w/ white accents is beautiful. The only thing missing that I can think of is that the collar isn't very tall compared to the Kilimanjaro

johnny jacket
Great jacket even compared to some of much higher price and has been comfortable for temps that have been as low as 45 deg when I leave home and in the mid 90s when I return. The jacket is good quality, has good zippers and stitching. The liner is also good quality and not too bad looking as a light jacket. The previous reviews I read were right and I had to pay to return the jacket that should have fit according to the size chart for the next larger size. This is the only garment I own that I have to wear an XL, most of my clothes are Med.

Great Jacket, Great Price
For only 100 bucks I couldn’t pass up this cool-warm weather jacket. I went by the size chart measurements and ordered a small and could barely fit into it w/ liner in. Had to return and go up to medium. Fits just about perfect!

Great Jacket
I have been using this jacket every day commuting. I followed the advice and bought 2 sizes larger than normal, and the fit is just about right. The jacket by itself is good down to about 50 degrees. If it is colder than that, the liner is required. I've ridden in the 30's and was never cold on my 45 minute commute. This is the only jacket that has elbow, shoulder and spine armor included, so it's a good deal for the money. All the zippers work well and the vents actually do take heat away from your body when you unzip them, but don't give you cold spots when you zip them up. It's too warm to wear above 80 degrees, but the vents make it comfortable if it's below 80. Over all, it's an excellent jacket.

Uneven fit
I consider myself average sized and based on other reviews I'd read online, I knew to order my jacket at least one size bigger (2XL) than the size I normally wear (XL). When I received my jacket, it was still too small in the chest and arms. I sent it back for a 3XL. When I received it, it fit in the chest and arms, but the torso was too big. I decided to go ahead and keep it (primarily because I needed it and didn't want to wait any longer for another exchange - I could live with the puffiness of the over-sized torso.)
It does keep me relatively warm (as low as mid 30s') and it did OK during the warm weather with keeping me cool.

Very good
Pros - almost everything. Very warm with lining in, as breathable and cool as can be hoped for with lining removed and vents open. Plenty of pockets, pockets have zips or velcro to close. Good armor, although shoulder armor should be a little bigger and more robust IMO. Reflective piping is highly reflective. Everything can be cinched up tight for good stable armor placement.
Cons - sewing a little rough at some ends. Collar has some rough spots that kinda bite into my neck.
Overall -- great jacket, outstanding value.

Good choice
My first size choice was 2X and that was 2 small. 4X fits well, not too loose, but room to move. My normal jacket size varies between XLL to 2XL so I was disappointed that 2X didn't fit. Exchange worked fine, but cost me $11 extra to ship back. I've only been riding with the jacket, not the insert and it's been fine. Hot days were so-so, moving was fine, but stopped it was warm. Styling is great, and highly visible from a distance (Blue/white contrast). Zipper pocket on the chest could be a little deeper as it barely fits my case for glasses and my wallet at the same time. Very heavy with the insert, OK without. Armor is barely noticeable. I'm happy overall. I recommend, but at least one size larger if you like them tight, two sizes up if you like room to move.

Fieldsheer Johnny Jacket
Overall this jacket is awesome. It does fit small so size up. I am 6' 2" 180 and typically I like my jacket tight so a large fit me well WITHOUT the liner. The liner that comes with this jacket is crap, too bulky and almost feels like it was made for a different jacket but a fit sweatshirt fits under it perfectly. The built in collar is nice, the vents in this jacket are top notch and the armor feels great, I recommend upgrading the back plate however. Great jacket for the price!

Fieldsheer - Johnny Jacket
This is an excellent jacket. I love the style and features the jacket has and I must say it looks sharp. Definitely an eye catcher! I was going to say that this jacket runs a little small, but that is only when the liner is in. When I took the liner out it was actually a little too big funny enough. Oh yeah I'm 6'0 150lb. and I bought the Large jacket. I have worn my jacket 5 or 6 times now and you get use to the way it fits with the liner. But overall it’s a great jacket. It stays cool in hot weather, and really warm in the cold.

Buy a size or two larger than you wear
I’ve maybe only worn this jacket 6 or 7 times, and I can see already that the Velcro on the cuffs is going to fail within the next two months. Other than that it is a great jacket, offers a lot of airflow for warmer conditions, as well as the warm inner liner for colder riding.

Great Jacket
This jacket is good looking and blocks the wind well. The fit (medium) was a bit snug for my 150 lb body and took some time to get use to. You will need a large size if you do winter riding and wear a sweater underneath.

Fieldsheer johnny Jacket - Large
I'm 6'-0" and 165 and the jacket fits very well, could be a touch longer at the waist, but it covers me as it should. The armor seems durable and gives a better feeling of safety especially since I only had a sweatshirt before. The vents work great especially on hotter days. I have ridden in near 90 degree weather and in the 40's. The jacket was great in both conditions and on the cold rides I didn't even have the supplied liner in, which would surely give more warmth. Overall I really like the jacket; it looks pretty sharp and serves its purpose.

Great Jacket
This is a great jacket for the price. Some reviews said the fit is small, but I find it to be just right. In the hot weather 90's and up, it can be a bit too hot, even with the vents open, however when it gets cooler, 40's, with the liner in, it is extremely warm, and is very good in wet weather, kept me dry no problem. I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone.

The envy of my friends. Warm Jacket, but the vents work really well. With the liner in, it seems to be on the tight side. We'll see when winter comes. Nice reflective qualities.

Awesome Jacket
First let me specify that I am not a man but I am a womens size small/tall and have had a near impossible time finding a jacket that was a good fit, long enough sleeves and NOT black or pink. I got this coat yesterday fits nearly perfect only complaint is that it is a little short in the front. Very reasonably priced and looks great, also love that the liner is zip out!

Great jacket for the price.
This was a purchase, along with some other riding gear. I have used this as an alternative to my full leathers. I have been riding in NW Georgia and South TN with this jacket. It is immensely cooler than my leathers, but can still get a little warm in traffic. There are plenty of ventilation openings to assist in staying cool, and a ton of pockets for storage. The jacket is assembled as well as any mesh jacket that I've looked at. And the liner... wow. That thing is like a mini fur coat. You can even take it out and wear the liner as a jacket... and it actually looks pretty good. With the proper gloves and pants, you could probably wear this coat into the low 30's with no problems. A great buy for the money.

LOVE THIS JACKET!!!
I LOVE everything about this jacket. Order one size larger then you normally wear if you are purchasing it. The liner works great for cold days and on hot days just take it out open up vents and use snaps to adjust to your size. I love the style, color, (the blue matches my Yamaha yzf R6 perfectly) and all the pockets and vents it has. I LOVE this jacket and wanted to let everyone know how good it is.

Great Price for a Great Jacket
This jacket is awesome. It's very durable and very inexpensive. The sizes run small. There is an internal liner in the jacket and it's removable. Make sure you purchase the jacket a little big because of the internal jacket.

Nice Jacket
Just got this jacket. I don’t know about the durability yet. It seems to be well made. a little on the small size. I would recommend going a size larger than usual, especially if going to wear the quilted liner. I wear larges in about all jackets and this is going to be snug with the liner in and a sweat shirt on. I’m going to stick with my size I got because i don’t ride in extremely cold weather. a thin long sleeve shirt and liner will probably be good to 45 degrees.

Better than I expected
I looked at many jackets and read many reviews and am glad I did both. This jacket is everything I expected and more. Reviews suggested getting a size larger which I did and that proved to be good advice. The liner is quite nice and I suspect it will be more than enough in the winter months. Pockets are located inside the jacket except for the two hand warmer pockets. Nice looking jacket for $99, are you kidding. I rated durability a 4 only because I've only had it for a little while. Great buy. I'd do it again.

Great Jacket!
This jacket looks and feels great, at least, it does for my friend who's a lot smaller than me. The sizing runs very small. I would order 2 sizes up from your actual chest size. Other than that, great product at a steal of a price! Also, seeing as how I just got the jacket, the durability rating is there only because I had to.
