HIghland jacket a great all round jacket.
Picked this jacket up (beige) in the spring of last year.
Really impressed with build quality.
Jacket is really bright at night.
It is waterproof. I ride rain or shine and no complaints.
Sizing is a little off. I am a Medium and got a large. It fits snug with the liner in but with liner out it fits a little loose.
Vents are 'ok'. When it’s really warm though it’s not much fun (picking up a mesh jacket this week). I've ridden in 0 Celsius weather (with an extra sweater) I was nice and toasty.
Really like the pockets (they're also waterproof).
The waist straps are pointless for me, if I pull it tight (as tight as it goes) I find the jacket just rides up my chest. So I just leave them loose

Sizes run really small. My aerostich Darien is a size large, and, other than being a bit short in the arms, it fits me well. Fieldsheer's sizing guide said I needed an XL. I ordered a 2xl, and it's barely adequate with the liner zipped in. That said, it seems like a nice jacket: waterproof/breathable outer shell; lots of pockets, hard armor. For the $150 or so I've seen this jacket selling for recently, it's a great bargain.

Very happy with this jacket
I bought this jacket for an October trip from Virginia to New York and Vermont. I normally wear a 2XL, but the Fieldsheer size chart said I needed a 3XL and it is right on. My trip was 1400 miles over 3 days in temps ranging from the high 30's to about 60 degrees with occasional rain. The Highland jacket worked great through all of it, I stayed warm and dry and it matches my existing rain gear pants really well. The jacket would be pretty bulky to try to pack into a saddlebag with the liner and armor (and size 3XL), but if you wear it instead of packing it it is fine.I feel that this jacket is very well thought out and I would definitely recommend it to others. I will surely buy other Fieldsheer products in the future.

Fieldsheer Highland Jacket
This Jacket has almost everything: great armor, good looks, reflective piping, more pockets than anyone would need, waterproof. The sleeve adjustments are great. The only thing I wish were different would be that the neck would rise a little closer to the helmet, cutting the wind there. Nothing you cant fix with and under-hoody or a neck gaiter. Highly Recommended!

Fieldsheer-Highland Jacket
The jacket fits well, and the straps on the arms work well to hold the elbow protection in place. The quality seems very heavy duty.
Cons. Do not recommend riding at highway speeds with the vents open. The jacket balloons and seems to tug at you. Also, would have liked a bit more reflective striping.
I haven't ridden in cold weather, nor rain, so I cannot comment on that. All in all, I would recommend the jacket.

Nice Jacket
I give this jacket high marks. It comes with a removable inner liner which is good for colder weather. Lots of pockets, lots of room so good for middle aged or muscular guys. Very comfortable and looks nice. Material is strong yet does not restrict movement. I like this jacket. Highly recommended.

Highland Jacket
Wow! Love the jacket. Plenty of pockets with easy access. Lightweight. Waterproof, if used with the liner. Breathable, if not. Tailored for riding comfort. Adjustable. Stylish. I wish I could find a matching pant my size.
