Great coat. Big, warm and the vents work when you need to cool down. A little bulky and warm for hot days, but nice and water proof too. I am very happy with my purchase and the price was great.

So far excellent riding for cold to cool weather. Seems ok in warmer weather, find out as summer progresses. Liner very effective for cold weather even though can be a bit awkward to put in. Also repels moisture well but haven't hit any real rain yet either. overall very pleased.

I bought a new motorcycle and had to go pick it up in California, and needed a good jacket to keep me warm. I didn't realize I was going to hit 26 degree temp, but the jacket did its part and kept me from freezing. I bought the large long, and I am 6' 4" 225 lbs, and it fits me just right, if I gain weight I might be in trouble.

I am 6'2" and about 210 pounds. I bought a Large Tall and it fits me absolutely perfectly. And I mean, there is no way this could fit me better. I have ridden in sub-40 degree weather with a thermal top on under this and been comfortable. This has great closures around the neck and wrists to keep the wind out. It also has a good zipper system, again to keep the weather out, and nice external pockets that fold over in a way so as to keep weather out. It's very well designed.
Great value

I am 5'10" and 210 lbs and normally wear an XL (44 regular). I decided to go with the Large size and the fit is good, a little snug in the shoulders and upper arms with the insulated liner in and a sweatshirt underneath but not uncomfortable. I think the XL might be a little too loose for me, although the adjustable straps in the upper arms and waist would probably help. The jacket was stiff to start but has loosened up nicely with use. No problems with any of the zippers, snaps, etc. I have ridden a 30 mile commute in rain with temps in the 40-50 degree range and also a couple of dry days with temps below freezing. The jacket has done a great job of keeping me both warm and dry. Haven't had a chance to try it in warm weather yet. Overall the jacket has done everything advertised with excellent value.

So far love it. Heavier than I thought and only gave it a 3 because it's winter and will get it really dirty this summer.

This jacket is built very well, and finished nicely. Took a roadtrip with my dad in 40-50 degree weather -- I wore a T-shirt and this jacket and was warm. He had on three layers under a leather jacket and was cold. It does exactly what I hoped it would.
Superb jacket all around!

I bought this jacket online after reading and hearing some really positive reviews and I have to say - I agree. Just for reference I'm 5'11”, 205lbs and the Large jacket is a great fit. Length of the arms is good and it doesn't feel tight (or too loose) in any areas. The thing I most like about it is the removable liner. I've seen other jackets where this feature is lacking but the Jaunt is easily taken on/off. I ride to work in the AM with the liner in (and vents closed) and am very comfortable. In the PM when it's time to come home, the liner comes out, vents open up and I'm good to go. I'm very happy with my purchase!

One of the reasons I picked your coat is the left breast pocket that is just outside the zipper. If it was a little bigger, it would be even better. Thanks for a great coat.

I first purchased the Firsgear HT 2.0 Overpants; they worked out rather well so I decided to get a Firstgear jacket. It made sense to me to stay with the same company (material, color, etc.) so the rest is history. By the way, some of the other jackets from Firstgear were a lot more expensive, about double the price. I just couldn’t see paying the additional cost, especially since the Jaunt has so many features (just read the product description). I also like that it’s not too bulky and the 3/4 length, perfect. I decided to go with the XL size (based on other reviews of Firstgear jackets). I have a 44 chest (5’8” / 190lbs). I’m glad I decided to get the XL, I think the Large would have been a little on the small side in the chest area. The sleeves are a bit long and the waist a bit big (the adjustable sleeve / waist straps take care of that), however the chest seems fine. Personally I would rather have extra room for adding extra layers underneath, especially on those colder days. I’ve made a couple of trips at 40F and it did a good job overall (with a shirt and sweatshirt underneath). It should be a nice jacket for variable temps, just not in the extreme upper temp ranges. Overall I think this was a good purchase, good bang for the buck.
