Pat Lake Forest Park,  WA Water Proof! I wanted a 3/4 length jacket, water proof and durable. That's what i got with the Adventure jacket. I rode in several down poors since purchasing and have been very happy (warm and dry). Excellent product for the money.

Todd Granada Hills,  CA Love it I asked for this jacket as a gift last year, and I'm thrilled with it. The zip-in liner is quick and easy to take out and in. The fit is perfect. The pockets are easy to access. (The cell phone pocket doesn't fit my iPhone, though - no surprise.) The reflective bands shine amazingly well at night. The ventilation isn't great, so it's not for summer days, but for the other three seasons, I easily choose this jacket over my other.

Paul Werenko Santa Fe,  NM Fieldsheer Adventure Jacket I just completed an 8 day, 3000 mile trip from NH to NM with this gear and could not have been happier with it. I was a bit held back from the initial purchase because I am on a budget with things like this, but after the gear arrived I was so impressed with the quality, materials, and construction that I was truly amazed at the value. I highly recommend the Gaerne Panorama Road Boots, the Fieldsheer Adventure Jacket, the Fieldsheer Adventure Pants, and the Icon Alliance SSR Helmet. I rode through frigid morning and night temperatures without complaint, some afternoons in the high 60’s without sweating to death in the heavier gear, as well as about 5 hours of very heavy rain and only the cuffs of my jacket were wet and that was after I stopped and hung my arms down and some trapped water ran down into my gloves. Had I shaken my arms out first, I would have ridden that entire time without feeling any rain at all. The only thoughts I will offer in comparison to extreme satisfaction is that the 2nd zipper (yeah, there are two) on the pants tore from the fabric at the very top. It is unnoticeable in the function, but it did tear there. The helmet can be a little loud at higher speeds, but for road trips I wear ear plugs and with them in it was not noticeable. All of this gear inspires great confidence regarding taking a fall and I am thankful to the manufacturers and the supplier for making it all available at what I consider to be incredible prices.

Dave B berwick,  ME Fieldsheer Adventure The Adventure jacket is my second made by Fieldsheer, if this jacket performs anything like the Hydro-tour did, it will be priceless in the durability, cost and skin savings. Thought the outside cell phone pocket might be a little small, so what!!! The larger inner pocket is normally where I keep mine just in case it rains and it can fit almost any size phone/pocket brain.

Dale H. Redmond,  WA Adventure Jacket I bought the Adventure jacket specifically for a 4200 mile trip through the Rockies and southern Utah. It's a great all-around jacket. It is geared more toward the lower temp spectrum. It's very comfy at extreme cold all the way up to the 80's. Once you reach 90+, you'll wish you had a full mesh jacket. If you had to only have one jacket, this is a good choice. Fit and features are great. I'm 6'0" and 190lbs. and the XL fit great. The only negative was that the stitching on one sleeve near the wrist was coming loose.

Graham Williamson Toronto,  ON Great Jacket This is a great jacket - but heavy. It weighs more than my leather. I haven't worn it in the rain yet, but the fabric is rugged and appears quite waterproof. I just wore it for a 500km ride on a hot sunny day. With the vents open it was okay, but it is really more of spring/fall jacket. The cell phone pocket that the other reviews talk about is really about the size of a zippo lighter. However, there are lots of other pockets. All round a great jacket.

Aaron Cable statesville,  NC Great The cell phone pocket is too small and not water proof. The other two non-zipper pockets on the front are not water proof as well. Great in all temps, but inflates at speed with vents open. Worn 4500 miles so far and still rocking!

James Waletzko Canton,  CT Great jacket I only have 2 suggestions: 1. Make the cell phone pocket a bit larger. I don't think many cell phones will fit the present pocket. 2. The 2 way main zipper is just a bit finnicky to get started.

Stan Walls Metamora,  MI Fieldsheer Adventure Jacket-great jacket, great price I bought this jacket as a replacement for one that was damaged in a bike accident, so I was especially interested in fit, features and safety padding. The jacket’s material is very heavy duty and feels a little stiff at first but seems to feel more comfortable with wearing. Riding position on the bike is very comfortable, it's what it was designed for. The lining is also a light jacket by itself and is warm and comfortable. I haven't been able to test the ventilation features yet but they are well placed in sensible locations. The padding is sturdy and well placed. The spine pad is a little stiff but should break in after a while. The reflective features of this jacket are really impressive, both back and front. The quality of this jacket is better than most I have seen, especially for the money. Motorcycle-Superstore had the best price and their service was excellent!
