good value, weak liner
This is a great value, the elbow and shoulder are comfortable and the mesh makes it cool for the hot summers where I ride. Like most reviewers say, the liner is pretty useless, it feels really flimsy and it makes the jacket harder to take off. I leave it off most of the time.

Great jacket
This jacket is great here in Utah due to the fact that its really hot. All I do is take the inside liner out and I’m good with a perfect amount of cool air blowing throughout the inside. When it gets a bit cold I just put the liner back in and that's all I need. I will be buying another Fieldsheer jacket for the deeper cold weather though just because I’m really satisfy with my first Fieldsheer mesh jacket.

Pretty good for the price
The jacket fits well and has hard covered pads. The back protector is a little flimsy. The inside liner is pretty lame, it has some sort of rubberized finish on the inside that makes it difficult to put the jacket on because it sticks to your clothes. I just took it out and left it out. Airflow is good when you're moving. I would say it's a good jacket for the price and I would probably order it again.

Great low cost jacket
This is a great jacket for the low price. It is great for warm weather, the liner is a little chincy (I just leave it out). Looks great, fit is good, I am 195 pounds 6'. I got the XL. This keeps me from riding in a t-shirt!

Very well designed hot weather jacket
Despite all the armor, you get a lot of air flow, even on the hottest day. I don't really use the snap out lining; it doesn't offer much insulation for slightly colder days, and is hot when you are not moving. The foam shoulder back pad is a bit hot as well. Nice looking jacket, with plenty of pocket space. At a discount price, I would say it's a very good deal.

I picked up the High-Viz Yellow and Black jacket. Works great. Looks better than the picture you see on the website.
One thing I'll mention is the sizing. I'm 5'11, 205lbs. I have another Fieldsheer Textile Jacket that I ended up getting a 2x size. I ordered the 2x and it was way to big. Returned it with no issue and reordered the 1x which fits much better.

Works well enough
This jacket works decently. It has enough pockets and adjustments to make it almost a custom fit. I feel the jacket is pretty good quality and will definitely provide protection in a fall. I really like the snap at the back which allows me to connect to my belt thus keeping the back from riding up. In south Florida it gets really hot and sticky, this jacket helps a little but I was expecting a little bit more. I would still buy this again however. I would also recommend this jacket to my friends and family.

My friend recommended this great jacket, and after seeing the High Viz Yellow color option, I had to have one. In my opinion, the best feature is the High Visibility Yellow material that this jacket is made of. I teach motorcycle safety courses at the local community college, and always emphasize to all new riders the importance of High Visibility on the road. The Field Sheer High Viz Yellow is one of the best jackets I've seen in the market.

Very nice jacket
I bought the red one and the color is very nice, I'm not small and the XXL fits me just fine with some room. The liner is a nice addition and really makes a difference on cooler mornings when I ride to work. The amount of armored protection is really nice, and the cost...well how can you complain about $80 for an excellent riding jacket?

Pretty good
This is a pretty good jacket for the price. I've ridden in 100+ heat and stayed relatively comfortable. It gets a bit cold in the lower fifties, but nothing a long sleeve shirt can't handle. About the size: I wear a 46, I ordered the 2XL and it fit perfectly. Only thing I would like to see is more pockets. Other than that, it's just what I needed.

Not very good
Very poor finish. Wires are coming out everywhere. The textile has a good quality and it fit perfectly. But the fact that parts are already starting to separate, really concern me. I was hoping for something done a little bit better.

So far so good, no complaints at all.
5'8", 170 - average build. Medium fits great. Very comfortable with decent options for body temp control - snaps on biceps and forearms when it's cooler; unsnap, open pockets when it's really hot provides decent air flow. Comfortable up to around 90-95 degrees or so. Ridden with it in the 100s - once you're hot, you won't cool off with it on. Haven't used the liner, though looks like it will be effective at stopping air flow and water if needed. Haven't had it long enough to really judge durability. Overall, I am very satisfied with this jacket - warm enough without liner for the 50-55 degrees in the morning, cool enough for low/mid nineties in the afternoon.

Great Jacket for price
I bought this jacket to ward off the heat of summer riding. This jacket is a great value. It is well vented and padded with plenty of adjustments on the jacket for a loose or tight fit. It does come with a liner so don't bother buying the available one. The only negative that I have is the hook and loop fastener for the sleeve cuffs. It won't last long with repeated use. Other than that, it is just fine and beats wearing leather on hot days.

Great Jacket!!
Got this jacket a month ago and just love it!!! Great air flow and comfortable. I'm 6.0 ft 185 lbs and I decided to follow one of the reviewers advise and get my regular size which is large, and it fit perfectly, plus you cant beat the price even tho it has been reduced again since I bought it. You really cant go wrong with this jacket for summer riding.

This is a great looking jacket and the sizing seemed to be fairly accurate. I have only used it a couple of times without the liner, but was very pleased with it. I am sure the jacket with the liner will perform as advertised

Good, cool jacket, one minor flaw
Overall, a great jacket. The 2XL fits a bit snugly when compared to some other 2XLs, but I like that since most 2XLs have arms that are too long for me. My only complaint is that the back pad doesn't get adequate ventilation so I sweat under it. The rest of the jacket keeps me cool as a cucumber though.

Fieldsheer Hi-Flow II Mesh Jacket
Size was perfect. It's a great improvement over another brand of mesh. This is light weight and has just enough pockets to keep you from putting too many items in a flow through jacket. Downside is the liner...hard to fasten in the sleeves and then becomes like a hot house when the weather cools. Should only be snapped in when it's raining...not suitable for cold weather wear. Would like to see this jacket in a 3/4 length.

Great shade in the summer
This jacket is like riding in the shade all the time. The only down side is in town at 35 mph or less there is not enough air flow to keep you cool. I like it a lot whenever I am going out of town. In the summer time I wear the High Flow 2 jacket.

Fieldsheer - High Flow II Mesh Jacket
Bought this jacket for riding in the central valley but had a chance to first test it on a 100+ degree day at the coast recently. Great air flow and fit. Padding is comfortable and well placed. Finish appears of good quality. No reservations at all about this product - I'd buy it again.

Excellent summer jacket
I have ridden with this jacket for a month and a half now and I can say that it's great for summer riding. It offers good protection and the air really flows through the jacket. The sizing is good and the finish is stylish. The liner is bad though. It feels like vynil and it's definitely not good quality. But again, you want to use this jacket during the summer so the liner is a little useless. I must say however, that I did use it one day while it was raining and it kept me dry. Great product for the price. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great Jacket
This is a nice compact jacket. It's not as high flow as my Nitro mesh jacket, but still lets a good amount of air through. The liner is not the easiest to take in and out. I will end up leaving the liner out all the time. I normally wear a L (5'9" - 165 lb), but ordered a M which fits better than my L Nitro.

Excellent Mesh jacket
Excellent jacket - exactly as I expected after reading other reviews. It arrived very quickly, and a large hanger was included. I am a medium, but bought one size up so I can layer clothes underneath in colder temps. I believe the medium would have been a perfect (tight) fit as long as the sleeves don't get any shorter, but I have long arms (about 35"; 40 or so chest). The large fits loose on my body, but the snaps help keep the sleeves tight which keeps the armor in place. Airflow is great. The armor has padding on the inside but hard plastic on the outside. Sleeves are not mesh along outside forearm up to shoulder for a little more abrasion resistance. The back pad is weak - just thin foam.

Cool Riding
I love the looks and feel of this jacket. It's my first mesh jacket and I wish I had not waited so many years to purchase one. It offers wonderful relief on those hot muggy days. The only thing I would caution about is the quality of the snaps. A package of repair parts came with the jacket. The snaps on the jacket once secured will probably not need to be adjusted again. I don't expect the snaps on the liner to hold up, one failed just removing the liner for the first time, but then I didn't buy this jacket for wet weather.

Bought this jacket just days before a 3 day ride in HOT So Cal. The mesh really kept me cool and comfortable during the day. Downgraded "Finish" and "Durability" due to lots of loose threads, but I carefully trimmed them and all is well.

Great styling, comfortable, form fitting. Good jacket for Arizona riding in the summer. Best price jacket for the money in quality, design, styling. Could use a couple of bigger vent zippers on the outter seam of the arms to let air in the sleve. Back needs better ventilation but compared to a Joe Rocket which I own, it is one third the price and works just as good.

Best Summer Weight Jacket !!!!
Bought the Fieldsheer High Flow II Mesh Jacket for the hot summer heat here in the Mojave Desert and it works great! Been wearing this jacket in 100+ degree heat and it does wonders! Bought this jacket cause my old one was too thick and hot to wear in this heat. This jacket fits well, has great armor and the mesh really breathes in the heat. Definitely a great buy!!

Good Jacket
Jacket has good airflow, armor, nice features and pockets. Best part was both zipper attachment for pants, and also a belt loop attachment. Ordered wrong size to start, and Superstore fixed it and got me squared away and sent the replacement quickly as always. Thanks MCS.

High Flow Mesh -- good jacket
Read almost all reviews before buying the original High Flow in small size, silver and black. Found the jacket to fit almost perfect. I have a high end Dianese leather racing jacket, and this High Flow mesh sport jacket fit just as well. Some previous purchasers tried to wear additional layers under this jacket in cool or cold weather, which is NOT what this jacket is for. This is a warm weather sport jacket, meant to fit snugly (not loose, not tight), and NOT meant for squeezing in thick layers of clothing underneath. The thin liner can get cumbersome, but instead of putting the liner in the jacket, I wore the liner first, then put on the jacket by holding the liner sleaves with my fingers as I slid on the jacket arms, making it much easier. The only major drawback I found was the armor is not up to par, especially the back armor. But overall for the price, this summer sport jacket is great value.

High Flow Is The Truth
Really amazing jacket at full price so I'm smiling like a cat that I got it on sale. Liner makes all the difference on cool mornings but cool air comes from everywhere when the liner comes out!!! The yellow is superb for visibility. The zipper catches just a bit just below the top, hence the 4 rating on features, but getting a good run at the beginning solves that. Ample pockets, sleeves are good length...I am totally content. As usual M/C Superstore lives up to its name.

Greatest Hot Weather Jacket, EVER!
Can't say enough good stuff about this jacket. All available options. If you have ever needed it, Fieldsheer thought of it and put it on this jacket! Comfortable, breatheable, and functional. Will definitely protect me should I ever go down. Also, order the same size you would a sport coat. These jackets have plenty of room so you don't need to go up a size if you plan to layer.

Great summer jacket for very little $$$s
I bought this jacket for summer riding in 80-90 degree weather. It flows a ton of air provides decent protection. I am 6' 4 and 230 lbs. I bought a 3XL and it fit very well. I probably could have squeezed in a 2XL but prefer a little extra room for clothing. You cannot beat this for the price. My only complaint is the buttons used to adjust the fit on the arms can easily scratch your tank's paint.

Fieldsheer High Flow Mesh II
Overall, it's good stuff, with minor negatives. The fit is good and the armor reassuring (back armor is a big plus), but the liner feels like a plastic bag when you first put it on (but doesn't stick and sweat like one). The right shoulder between the neck and the shoulder armor flaps fiercely in the wind, but not the left (go figure). Very comfortable in 90+ temp riding, even when stopped at lights. I won't go riding without it this summer.

Good Fit, Good Quality, Good Flow.
I've been wearing the jacket for about a month now and it is comfortable, fits me just right and is extremely comfortable. I like the pockets and everything, it's pretty nice. The only bad thing I can say about this jacket is that there are a few too many loose strings that I had to cut off for my liking, but I think that may just be my jacket, they weren't serious, just little strings.

Great jacket at a great price
I usually wear an XL, but ordered a XXL as these jackets are usually tight. It's probably a half size too big, but is better than being a half size too small.
The windbreaker liner is effective, but you should wear a long sleeve shirt under it as it's a bit sticky to the touch, especially if you sweat at all while wearing it.
The jacket is durable, the armor is strong everywhere and it feels more comfortable than just a t-shirt on hot days. I rode to the coast yesterday and it was over 100 degrees on the 2.5 hour ride back and felt comfortable the whole time.
I will be getting the cool vest very soon as a friend has it and loves it with these jackets.
In all, great price, great finish and great looking jacket!

I purchased the jacket originally because it was cheaper and didn't look like a Harley (no offense) jacket. It was pretty non descript. It also fit well (XL for a 44 reg). A great featured, handsome, functional jacket for the warm weather. I ride a 250 ninja for commuting.

Cool As A Cucumber
Terrific hot weather jacket! I bought the Large High Vis Yellow and at 6'1" 212 lbs. 38 waist it is a perfect fit! The sleeves are great even with short cuffed riding gloves. The Velcro waist adjustment works great. The cuff Velcro is nice, but the velcro attachment should have been a little longer, but I have thin wrists. The arm adjustment snaps work and I haven't had any problems. Some loose strings, but a simple scissor cut here and there took care of that. I have ridden in 90 degree weather with a t-shirt underneath, I was cool and comfortable!!

Great Jacket protection and cool
Ordered this jacket, several weeks ago and it is just what I was looking for protection and not to warm. I wore it on an 100+ mile ride and it was great, stayed cool even though temp was in the 90's. I wear it every day that I ride, I like the protection. I did take the liner out, you do not need it unless it is cool or raining. This jacket does just what it is designed to do protect you in the hot weather. I would buy again, especially from Motorcycle Superstore.
