So I read all the reviews and ordered big. I am about 52" around the torso (that is measuring under the armpits). So I ordered the 4X. It was of course stiff at first wear but has loosened up nicely as I have had it for a month or so. Great quality and look. Vents well when needed and buttons up good when you want to be warmer. On 80 plus days sure it will get warm when stopped but once moving again it is fine. The sleeves are a little long due to the big size but not worth my having it custom altered. Plus when I am on the bike(Yamaha Raider) it is hardly noticeable due to the riding position. Overall I am very very pleased. I will buy from this company and this vendor again!

Overall a great jacket
Once you find the right size, it's a great jacket. I am 6' 170 lbs and the medium fits perfect. Just wish it had the option to be able to attach it to pants. Doesn't get too hot while riding.

This jacket has been a great buy. I'm 210 lbs and5’11” and originally bought the xl which turned out to be too big. Motorcycle superstore was great with returning it. I got a large and it fits great. The vents make it nice and cool on hot days. I would recommend this jacket.

Love this Jacket!
I just bought the Motorhead jacket and I love it. It has a very nice cut and fit. The full zip out liner is nice and the jacket stays pretty cool when the liner has been taken out.

Great product!
Good overall product, pads made everything stiffer, they need to be broken in. taking the pads out it felt and fit great. Great quality build, it has great durability looks like it would hold up pretty good while sliding across the asphalt. Inner lining keeps you warm and can be removed for those hot summer days. Other than the pads, the pockets are not easily accessed with gloves on. But that’s it otherwise it’s a great product.

Great Jacket
I went from an Alpinestars jacket to the icon motohead and have no regrets. I'm 5'9 195lbs and got size XL which fits perfect. I am a little broader in the shoulder so it fits good. I also got it a size xl for when I wear sweaters in the cooler parts of the year. One thing I found interesting, in the left inside pocket, there is a st. Christopher medallion attached to a ribbon which is sown into the jacket. Overall, great jacket.

Great Jacket
I got mine on sale, so I paid 225, and at that price it is a great jacket! Very heavy, feels secure and looks good so you can go anywhere and not look out of place. Don't care for the asphalt technology stitched on the front but really does look great. Well padded conforms to any riding position, very good for sport bikes. I also like the collier, well vented, though I think I will get a mesh for those 90+ days. Overall I don't know if I would have bought it for $300+ but it is a great jacket!

Perfect Jacket
This jacket is absolutely perfect. I was worried at first about ordering a jacket that I never tried on online but the fit is dead on. I'm 5'10 and 160lbs and I ordered a medium. Great looking jacket.

Havent needed a second jacket yet!
I bought this jacket when I bought my new bike, and I have been comfortable in this jacket every day. I never even take the liner out since if I get warm, I just open the vents and it’s perfect. It would need to be 90 degrees out to need to unzip the liner. The fit is very comfortable, and what can I say, the green one matches my bike so well. The only problem, which isn't much of one, is that the wrist has a button snap on it for the end of the sleeves, that if your trying to wear gauntlet style gloves (any gauntlets) will dig into the ball of your wrist, and it is not something you can just deal with, or get used to. No biggie though, just ordered the short version of what I wanted. All in all, this jacket is great, I would buy it again.

Icon-Motorhead Jacket
I bought this jacket for my boyfriend as a gift and he absolutely loves it. He wanted a full leather jacket that had ample ventilation and that's what he got! Plenty of zip-vents, light weight compared to other leather jackets. We'd recommend this jacket to anyone.

excelent jacket!!!
100% satisfaction here! I ride in the Seattle Washington area where the weather isn’t to forgiving. Cold and rainy one day, and 85 and sunny the next. Overall the jacket is perfect for a everyday rider. Vented very well. Very very very comfortable. Very stylish. Kind of pricey$$$, but you get what you pay for. Recommend you buy one and make your little rider buddies jealous!

Nice but
Got the jacket today. Very nice, looks great and fits perfectly on the arms and chest but the big problem was that the jacket ends at my bellybutton. I’m afraid that the next size will be too long on the arms. I got a L and I’m 5'11" weight 188, hope this helps anyone.

Best Motorcycle Jacket
I've tried other motorcycle jackets before choosing Icon's Motorhead. I tried Joe Rocket and Alpinestars. The Joe Rocket was absolute garbage, while the Alpinestars was comparable it was also more expensive and had fewer features. This jacket is great for warm weather as well as cold weather riding. When it's hot you can remove the insulated liner and open up all the zippered vents. The zippers are easy to open, even when you have thick leather riding gloves on. When it's cold the insulated fleece liner keeps you warm and it's thick leather construction helps keep the cold out. You can remove the armour and wear the jacket year-round casually if you like. I purchased mine in stealth since it matches everything else I have. The rear "ducktail" feature covers your rear end, which is important when riding a sportbike due to your seating position. I've owned this jacket for two seasons and it's been nothing but great. The leather still looks fresh, it has stretched itself out and conformed to my body. Fit and finish is exceptional considering most of Icon's other products are of fair to average quality. Overall I can conclude that the jacket is durable, well built and packed full of great features. I have nothing negative to say about Icon's Motorhead jacket.

Motorhead Jacket
Amazing jacket. I bought the Yellow/Black and the quality is excellent. It is EXTREMELY thick and durable leather construction with good armor for the shoulders, elbows and back. It has been 90 degrees and while riding it is not hot, when stopped you cook a little though. Great jacket and glad I spent the extra money to get it instead of the mesh ones.

Yes, it's protective. Yes, it's warm, vented and durable, but the deal maker for me was my wife's reaction when I put it on. She said "You look HOT in that jacket!" Hey, a biker jacket has to look good or you might as well just strap-on shoulder pads, elbow guards and a chest piece. Heavy? Yes, but fits great, and the sleeves are extra long so they don’t ride up your arm in the forward, sportbike position. I love it, she loves it!

Motorhead jacket
This is a nice jacket. I had to return a $700 BMW jacket because they don't make it larger sizes. I really think the looks and manufacturing details of this jacket are as good or better. Not too heavy for me. In fact, feels kind of broken in right out of the box! Seems perfect for the cold fog and hot sun of north coast California.

Awesome Jacket
I've had this jacket for well over a year and rode in nearly every kind of weather with it. In cold weather the lack of a collar makes it a little drafty, but I generally wear a fleece turtleneck under it then and it's no problem. In warmer weather (50 degrees and up) it is very comfortable with just the liner and a t-shirt. When it is really warm you can unzip the liner quickly and it has some pretty good ventilation, including perforated sleeves. I actually prefer it to my mesh jacket even on

Man this is a sweet jacket. I live in Colorado, where the weather is always changing. One minute you’re comfortable in 90 degree weather, and then ten min later it’s 15 Degrees and you’re still just as comfortable. Feels protective, and fits like a glove. Great buy. Worth the money. DO IT.

Motorhead Jacket
A bit heavy but well built. It's roomy enough for a larger rider to not be restrictive. Surprisingly cool in the summer with the vents open. Still, on the hotter days you better be moving or it gets pretty hot. I recommend this jacket for any style of riding.

Motor Head Jacket
This jacket is great. Like everyone stated it's a bit heavy but that's a good thing if you ever go down. A friend of mine was wearing one when he went down. He slid 100+ feet on his chest with out a scratch on his torso. You wont notice the weight while riding. The jacket is a bit heavy for mid summer days, but other than that it's great.

Tried on a number of jackets and w/o a doubt, the motorhead jacket had the best quality - no question. At $350, the jacket is not cheap, but its competitors are $300 and a few bucks more gets you the best out there.

Excellent Fit & Finish
No other jacket fits and feels as good as the Motorhead jacket. Superb craftsmanship, fits like a glove, built like a tank! Get one, you'll know what I mean. I own Alpinestars and Teknic brand jackets and they do not even come close. Get one!!

Super nice jacket. The incorporation of the armor along with the leather makes it a perfect combination. A bit heavy, but not bad at all. Removeable longsleeve liner for colder weather. Take it out during warm weather. I tried on a lot of jackets, and this was the ONE. Perfect while riding, and also comfortable while not on bike. TOP OF THE LINE!!!

Great Street Jacket
Great jacket, good fit, durable. Nice style without being too flashy. Very good, nice look for the street. I can't get any of my gloves to fit over the sleeves, only a minor problem. Due to the style of the jacket, no neck protection.

I tried on the timax jacket and was goin to get it cause I wasn't sure about the motorhead jacket. I was walking out the store and saw a motorhead and tried it on. It took me 2 seconds to say that I was gettin it instead. Its kinda heavy but I'm a big guy. The jackets air flo is great when the liner is out. And warm when its not but I sometimes need to wear a long sleeve shirt when its cold. The protection is what brought me to buy it cause it has got really durable protection and it fits and fe
