Great riding jacket! Could be upgraded for track use!
I've worn shift apparel for some time now and the sizing is bang-on with the chart and compared to my other jackets. I got a large and it fits a bit snugger than my Avenger street jacket but it's meant to since it's more track oriented. The fit and the protection are all well placed and feel solid. My only issue with this jacket is that it doesn't have a 360 zip (more like 300 degree) and the zipper used is very small and flimsy compared to other brands.

Nice Jacket, Poor Zipper!
I really like the fit and look of this jacket, but the zipper is really cheap and will pull apart very easily. I will keep the jacket and get a real zipper installed in it.

Very Nice Jacket!
This jacket is very very impressive. I recently visited a shop and had to try it on. Three months later, I came back and found the jacket was 50% off, couldn’t believe it. I have been wearing it now and even though it was a gift, it has been the BEST investment I have received. Fits comfortably, almost tailored to my 6'1, 225lb frame. Breathability is amazing in both warm and cool weather conditions. I wished Motorcycle-Superstore offered more specials on products this good. However, I will always be a devoted and loyal customer of Motorcycle-Superstore!

Style was the key!
I've been looking for a premium leather jacket for some time and tried all the top brands in some of the larger dealers in SoCal. The styling of the Shift jacket caught my eye and the fit was perfect for me, based on my weekend canyon riding on my Ducati 999. Its quite articulated through the arms, though really comfortable on the bike. I've had many people comment on the jacket during fuel and food breaks too and I appreciate being different. I'm probably going to pony up for some Shift leather pants this summer to complete the outfit. I'm a few months in with the jacket and recommend the Vertex for serious riders.

This jacket is great, fits really snug at first but it wears in. More of a spring summer fall jacket, doesn’t really do great in the cold weather. Looks great, the armor in the elbows rub on your arm but it breaks in after awhile.
