The Best Jacket I Have Ever Owned!
Alpinestars SP-1 jacket is the best jacket that I've ever owned. The jacket breathes extremely well thanks to ample perforations and keprotec stretch material. Motogp style hump in the back is subtle enough to still wear a bag pack with the jacket on. All in all, Alpinestars SP-1 is an awesome jacket that's worth the money. Just like other Alpinestars jacket, it fits little on the snug side. After a few rides though, I think the jacket will break in to add more comfort. But I recommend getting one size up if you like your jacket a little loose. I am about 5'8" and weighs about 190lbs. I have the jacket in Euro size 50/US size 40. If I had to buy it again, I would probably get US 42.

SP-1 FTW!
The SP-1 is outstanding! I am a tad bit under 5'10, 160lbs got a 42 euro and I'd say it fits pretty well. I gave it 4 for fit because it seems like a-stars runs smaller than usual. I wish the front dropped down a little lower, however, this is an alternative for the SP-1 full racing suit so it must be snug and flush with the separate pants should you choose to go that route- so I get where they're going. Quality and finish is near perfect. The jacket looks sweet and motoGP aggressive...4 for durability only because I just got it and haven't ridden with it. SO much protection- great elbow and forearm. Kinda pricey, but you will NOT be disappointed. I was meticulously contemplating whether I should save a few and go with the stage vs. this. But I wanted to get the best jacket bang for my buck the first time around, first time right. In the end, I am happy I didn't settle for less!

Sweet jacket
Very nice jacket. Looks great, fits a little snug though I'm 5'7" about 165 pounds and got a size 52euro. Perforated leather allows a lot of air to flow through, sweet jacket, well worth the money!
