Great looking jacket but as others have pointed out, sizing is very much on the small side. I'm 5'7", 165 pounds and normally wear a size US 38 suit. Reading the previous reviews I was planning to order a size US 40 but as it was unavailable I ended up taking a chance and ordering a size US 42. It fits very well. 38 never would have worked and 40 probably would have been a very tight fit with the thermal vest. 42 is tight but not overly so. Very well made and a perfect color match to my Aprilia Shiver!

Generally good quality but it uses a pretty small zipper which I have had to separate a number of times. For fit, I had to order one size larger and it definitely is fitted for being on the bike - it isn't really comfortable just standing around. Vents very well considering it is leather.

All around great jacket. Very few jackets match my orange 08' 600RR. Fits snug and feels comfortable. The chest and arms (inner part of elbow area) are vented (perforated) and clearly do their job. If you are not looking to match your bike i would recomend the black jacket. I live in PA and do alot of riding and bugs can become a problem with clean up, since the entire jacket is full grain. As for the price, 549 is awfuly high, it should be around 399. Full shoulder and elbow pads add to the mental comfort and the areo hump in the back works pefectly. Another good option with this jacket is the ability to zip in pants for a two piece suit (great for track days).

This jacket looks great, as you can see. But I gave it a 3 on fit because, as others have said, there are some areas where the proportions seem to be off. I'm 5'7", 160, slightly athletic build, and I ordered a US 44 size. The shoulders and biceps were tight - a good snug fit, the stomach, forearms and back have quite a bit of room left in them. It's more than you would expect. I don't know who they cut or shaped this jacket for. The straps don't do much for tightening it up. Also, it's tough to tell how effective the back hump ventilation is. The jacket is sturdy and seems like it would protect you well in a slide. Right out of the package I saw some wear on the paint that's on the leather adjustment straps, so I'm lead to believe that it won't hold up in other areas.

Awesome looking jacket, fits me like a glove I´m 130lbs 5´7 size 48eu 38us, I might need to buy a back protector to fill the bit loose on the back, looks very well made, Alpinestars quality is just simple the best. It has lots of pockets to put you cell phone, mp3, etc.

Amazing jacket. very durable, well made, and offers a lot of protection. I’m 6'1 150 lbs. i ordered a size 46, but that was to small in the arms and tight in the chest and shoulders. so i returned it for a 50 US. Fits like a glove. the orange/black are gonna look good on my Hayabusa.
