Bang For the Buck
This is the most versatile and well designed jacket I've come across. I am particularly impressed by its warmth--I commute down into the teens (F) and do recreational rides in the 20s. With the lining in, Kilimanjaro is by far the warmest of the jackets I own. Yet the vents make it comfortable into the upper 80s. It has pockets galore in both the jacket itself and the removable lining. My only concern is the cheap plastic zippers on the pockets. And, while the Kilimanjaro is clearly not constructed as well as the very expensive, high end jackets like Belstaff, Aeorstich, and Rukka, it is about the third the price of those. All in all, I highly recommend it.

FIRST GEAR - KILIMANJARO JACKET
My first ride was a 2 hour excursion in 37* weather. With only a t-shirt and a light sweatshirt on underneath it was toasty. My second ride was for a last one in for the year where I work. It was 17* out and at 6:00 am in Cleveland Oh. on St. Rt. 480 E. at 75 mph. wow what a test. For this morning I added a lightweight polar fleece to my tee and sweatshirt. The jacket was bullet proof. I do ride a GoldWing but 75 mph for 35 mi. and no sun that was the test of tests. Thanks this is one wonderful jacket.

Great coat at a great price
Waterproof, fits great, and the undercoat looks very good worn by itself. Price here is about half what a local store was charging.

This Jacket hits all the marks! It is so well thought out. There are pockets and adjustments everywhere. It looks to be so well constructed that you will wish that it would wear out so you can get a new one (yeah right). Way to go First gear. I got mine in late fall, so I only rode a couple of times. It was in the mid to low 30's, and the Kili did great on short rides 25-50 mi. Anything longer will probably require heated gear (I'm not as hard core as some of you motoheads). By the way never used it in the rain but who wants to ride in that crap anyway, I'm sure it will do fine though. Over all this is a great value, a HIGH quality jacket for a LOW price.

Great Jacket for the Price
Picked this up when it was on sale and got a great deal @ $129. So far I have ridden down to 34 degrees and have been comfortable on my way into work - it is only a 15 minute ride though. I followed the sizing guide and it fit me great. Delivery was on time which it always seems to be with Motorcycle Superstore.

Kilj jacket
My third jacket from Firstgear, very happy with company in general. Only problem with this jacket: I have a leather Firstgear jacket in Tall Large that fits like a glove and the Kilimanjaro jacket of the same size is baggy in the torso. Probably a cut difference in textile vs. leather but otherwise a great jacket. Warm, plenty of pockets, durable fasteners. I surmise my fourth jacket will be Firstgear as well.

Kilamanjaro Jacket
First, Superstore's performance in the transaction was superb. Second, the jacket. It appears to be very well constructed and has all the features I was looking for. I can't comment on its waterproofness, but it is wind proof with or without the liner and quite warm. My complaint is that the arms are uncomfortably tight with the liner in place. Of course when I tested it the liner was out and only a slight snugness was noted in the arms which did not ring the warning bell. After 1/2 hour with the liner in place I was wishing I was home. By the way my arms, though long are not very big in diameter. Time to go to the gym.

Great jacket
No complaints. 6' 4", 230 lbs XL-tall fits perfectly. With liner, comfortable below freezing. Without liner can wear into 60s. A little stiff, but comfortable to wear while riding.

Jacket
This is my first jacket like this and I wasn't sure what to expect. I ordered a size too large and then reordered the correct size. What a difference, it is comfortable and with the liner I will be able to use it in colder weather no problem.
