Product Description
Nothing represents the versatility of textile jackets better than mesh. The fabric’s ability to provide loads of cooling airflow, while in the midst of a heat wave, without compromising safety is a quality no other jacket can boast. With mesh, there are no reasons for you to ride without protection no matter how hot the temperature.

This is the third incarnation of Firstgear’s ever-popular Mesh-Tex jacket. Maximum airflow is the result of the Mesh-Tex’s perforated nylon lining and polyester mesh shell. If temperatures cool down, the Mesh-Tex has a full-sleeve windproof liner that can be installed.

Bill Okanogan,  WA Firstgear - Mesh-Tex 3.0 Jacket Firstgear is great stuff. I love the mesh jacket and also have the mesh pants that zip onto the jacket. This is a perfect outfit for my enduro summer riding. I also use it in the fall with some long underwear and the zip-in liner for the jacket.

Hal Symms Oro Valley,  AZ Mesh-Tex 3.0 Jacket This jacket is a great value for the money. The only fault with it is the material around the snaps that hold the liner in place is weak and will tear. However, since I live in the desert, the liner has been removed and will not be used. Oh yes, it is very important to order one size larger than what you normally wear. I wear large but ordered an extra large and it fits perfectly. This coat breathes very well while one is in motion. I have used it in 103 degree temperature and have been pleased. (Thanks to all the other reviews! They were most helpful.)

James Zulkoski Weirton,  WV Firstgear-Mesh-Tex 3.0 Jacket Comes in tall sizes and fits me much better than a regular. The mesh is cool on a hot day and a liner can be used for cool days. It doesn't feel bulky with the shoulder and elbow protectors in place. The price was right also.

Brian McCarthy thomaston,  CT Firstgear - Mesh-Tex 3.0 Jacket I tried this jacket on in a local bike shop and fell in love with it but not the price. I searched high and low on line and found that motorcycle superstore had the best pricing and shipping. I love this jacket. It's like wearing a t-shirt when you take the liner out and with the liner in I was able to ride in 62 degree weather at 10:30pm and stay warm.

Donald E. Ritter Medford,  OR firstgear Meshtex-3 The Mesh tex-3 gives me a secure feeling. I am 6ft, 200lbs, I ride a 950 lb Goldwing. I wear my meshtex-3 all the time I ride. The only problem I have is the liner is to small. I wear a sweat shirt on cool mornings, and I have trouble getting the jacket off, just to tight. BUT I think it is a great riding jacket. R Martinez Garland,  TX Mesh-Tex 3.0 Jacket (Black) I was looking for a quality jacket to use during the summer months here in TX and this jacket certainly fit the bill. Was reluctant to order online due to uncertainty of the fit, but my worries were completely unfounded. Plenty of air flow at low speeds and I was so impressed with the overall quality of this product, I bought my brother his first Firstgear jacket...the Torrent Mesh jacket. Only thing lacking is the reflective signature as seen from the back at night. Could use a little more visibility.

Dan B. Convis Battle Creek,  MI Great Summer Jacket I am 6'3'' 270lbs and the 2XL tall fit perfectly. I can wear it over whatever I am wearing for added protection and very little added discomfort from the heat. I can add long sleeves or a fleece on cooler days, and/or the liner. I find the liner is somewhat clammy on my bare skin. I can put my rain suit over it when needed. It works all summer until the cold weather hits and then I go to my Kilimanjaro.

ken mcclarnon sun prairie,  WI mesh tex 3.0 jacket the mesh tex jacket was excellent and works as advertised. the jacket liner however was not put together as well. the snaps holding the lining simply dropped off. I think I can find a way to put new ones on but it still a pain in the neck especially on a new jacket. the fit was perfect I wear an extra large and that’s what I ordered.
