Mike Lewisville,  MN Good jacket but ok fit I really like the look of this jacket. It is warm on cool days with the vents closed and cool on hot days with the vents open. It gets a little warm if stopped but that is to be expected. According to the size chart I should be a small but it was quite tight so I returned it and got a medium. It also was still quite tight (not much difference between them). The large fits almost perfect but is just a little big which I am ok with so I can wear extra layers comfortably underneath it. Overall a great price for the product but make sure to order larger than normal.

Ed S St Charles,  IL Nice jacket for the price! I read and re-read all the reviews and checked other sites for info as well. Obviously this site is the best for price all day long! However, the sizing chart is whacked. I think Vega is to blame on that. These jackets are true to their labeled size, i.e., if you normally wear a XL, buy the XL. I am 6', 215lbs, 46" chest, 38" waist and this jacket in an XL fit perfectly. I just tried it on with a t-shirt under a light sweater and the jacket still was a perfect fit. You also need to keep in mind that riding jackets are more fitted than a regular, casual jacket from your local clothing store. They are cut this way to reduce flapping, not get in your way and not impede movement when the #1 thing you should be doing is controlling your bike. Therefore, almost all biking jackets are more snug around your entire torso. Ya dig? Should be perfect for 3-season riding too! For the ridiculously low price, JUST GET IT.

Lorrie Richland,  PA Just what we were looking for ! This jacket is exactly what we needed. It is comfortable in warm weather, because when the vents are unzipped the air flow through the jacket makes you feel air conditioned . Also in cooler weather with the vents zipped shut ,you stay toasty warm. It is well made and has removeable pads through out the jacket for your safety and comfort. And the price can't be beat.! Great jacket, great buy ! Thanks !

RayM Chicago,  IL Great Jacket.... Great Price... For a jacket within this price range, it's a steal! I was looking for a lightweight commuter jacket that would complement my Olympia AST Jacket. The Vega is an attractive jacket with a soft external shell and polyester mesh lining. Zippered vents on the chest sleeves and back does help push the air through to keep one cool during warm weather but I would wear this jacket for hot weather. A fleece liner is available to ride in cold weather but I haven't purchased the liner. I have not tested its waterproofing capabilities but for the price I really can't complain. Thanks...

Rich federalsburg,  MD Vega Octane Jacket Nice jacket, well made and comfortable with CE padding too! Took a few attempts to get one that fits right but this store is excellent with returns and customer service. Order a size bigger than you need to save time - these jackets sizes are spot on so if you have a 50 inch chest, order the larger size! Good product, super service and a great company to do business with! A+

richard gold bar,  WA Vega Octane Took this on a 5000 mile trip, through rain, hail, great fit but should have ordered a xl, not enough vents or too small, like the pockets, had to take it off in 93 as too hot, not enough air flow, I;am 62 and 198.

Al Webber Denver,  CO Very impressed I am very impressed with my purchase of this jacket. I like the design - it is much better than the photos portray. It fits me 3/4 length and is quite light yet it blocks the elements [wind, rain, etc.] beautifully. I bought it to be flexible enough to take on a ride from my native Colorado [west, through the mountains] to Las Vegas. It will no doubt allow me to endure both weather extremes in mid-May [we can still get lots of precipitation in Colorado in May and the desert is hot-hot-hot in May]. Great jacket! From reading a review from another customer, I was skeptical how this item would fit me, so I bought 1 size larger than I normally would - that was not necessary, but I'm glad I did...I have quite broad shoulders and the 2XL size fits me just fine. I normally wear a 44R in a jacket and the XL would have been just fine. If you're contemplating, buy it!
