Awesome Jacket!
This jacket works great. I love the layers that can be added. With all layers in, I've worn it into the low 40's and stayed warm.

Slightly Disappointed
I purchased this jacket primarily for summer riding. I like the protection without the smothering affect of most jackets. It's not uncommon for temperatures to reach 100+ degrees around here, and my Cortex FSX jacket just doesn't let in enough air... even with all the vents open. I really like certain aspects of this jacket: full mesh for hot weather riding, two stage liner that can be used in any combination for wet or cold weather riding. I ride 100 miles to work each day and it can be cold in the mornings and hot in the afternoons. The ability to configure the jacket for both conditions is very appealing.

Awesome jacket! Fits well with plenty of adjustment snaps/Velcro to customize the fit. The two liners for rain/cold are handy.

I have only had the opportunity to wear the jacket a couple of times, today being the second. It is comfortable, although a bit heavy. With the liners in it is very warm. I have not had a chance to take the liners out to see if it will be cool enough for me, but my feeling is it will be. The Superstore was easy to deal with and service was good.

tourmaster air intake2 hi-vis
I used the jacket on a recent ride to Arkansas, the temp when we left was in the upper 80's and in Arkansas it was in the 40's and 50's and raining at times, so the removable liners worked great. The hi-vis I think prevented more near misses.

Like most size charts you'll have to go a size or two up. I'm 6' 175 lbs and with my chest measurement I should have ordered between a small and extra small. Most of the shirts and sweatshirts I wear are larges so I ordered a large and the jacket fits like it should. I would have liked to try on a Large Tall since I have longish arms but didn't think it was worth the hassle to send it back. I've ridden in temperatures ranging from 50-95 and even with the waterproof liner in the jacket still flows a lot of air.

A person needs to order a size larger than you normally would select. Needs a better way to keep sleeves snapped in, something better than the snaps, they are hard to align. Overall, it is the best jacket I ever had for hot weather or medium-cold weather.

Tourmaster Intake 2 Jacket
This jacket met my needs and then some. To ride on a military base the outer surface must have contrasting colors plus some reflective surface. Equally important during Phoenix summers, it must have lots of airflow. And I wanted something with protective padding, otherwise a vest would have sufficed. This jacket combines all features, plus includes a zip-off inner layer for cold weather riding. The outer layer is mesh, so lots of air flow, including in the arms. I've only had it for about 6 weeks, so no cold weather riding yet, and perhaps it's too soon to judge its durability. I marked the fit down a notch because it's a bit snug with the inner liner in place, so not much room for further layering. And the price is steep, but I believe still a good value considering it has year-round use.

Very pleased!!
Am very pleased with this jacket. Have worn the outer shell in 80+ degree weather and was very comfortable. This morning I wore the entire set-up in 35 degree weather and was also very comfortable. I ordered the men's medium, and while the outer shell alone is on the big side, with both liners, the fit is spot-on.

I’ve used this jacket in hot and cold weather, with both liners out it is really cool when it’s hot out. With the liners in an a nice sweatshirt underneath its warm down into the 40's. The armor is nice and the sleeves are adjustable so the armor doesn't sag. Great buy.

Tour Master - Intake Air 2 Jacket
Excellent product. Sizing seems to match standard coat sizes. Probably is close to waterproof. Only wore it once in the rain and because it was a hot day, I removed the inner (waterproof) liner. I got a little damp. My only complaint is that the bottom straps don't have enough Velcro on the ends. If you remove either of the inner liners the jacket is smaller at the waist and the pull straps at the waist don't pull tight enough. I am going to add a piece of Velcro to the end of the strap which will resolve the problem.

Tour Master 2 Mesh Jacket
I bought this jacket for the mesh ventilation as a warm weather option to leather and has met my expectations. At 6'4" the long was a good fit. With two zip out liners, rain and quilted, the fit is different depending on what combination of jacket and liner you are wearing, the sleeves do however have tie down straps to prevent them from flapping when not using the liners. I opted for good fit with when not using the quilted liner which makes it a little tight with the liner in. On a recent 1000 mile trip being able to zip in and out the rain/ wind liner was a big plus for dealing with those 50 and 100 degree days. I have not tested the jacket in the rain yet and hope never to need to test the armor. The three layers make it a good four season jacket.

The jacket that does it all!
I appreciate this jacket for its ease of use, versatility, and cost. For the price you are essentially getting a rain jacket, summer jacket and cold weather jacket all in one. Comfortable in the summer, it’s been warm on the cold nights and keeps the rain away. If you are like me, tall and skinny, you will probably want a tall size. I ordered the regular medium originally but it was just too short in the arms and waist. Went with a tall and it fits great. I'm 6ft2 175lbs. Good jacket for the money.

Lots of features, disappointing fit
This jacket has two liners - one thin liner for water protection, and one padded for warmth. As with all jackets, liner removal/installation is a pain. There are plenty of pockets with large zippers. The neck/collar could be taller to help protect against rain. The protection feels sturdier than most jackets, and stays in place. One major gripe is the fit - if you're not fat or barrel-chested, the chest area will be loose without both liners.

Perfect choice
Just returned from 2000 mile July '09 road trip. First outing with this new jacket in hot weather. It's exactly what I was looking for. Cool, good airflow through jacket. Reviews of the product on this website were very helpful in making decision. Jacket fits fine too. I'm 5'10' 180, and Large is perfect. Great value with the 2 inserts. I prefer the quilted liner with the jacket on cooler mornings as some air flows through. Haven't tried the rainproof liner, as I prefer to wear a Gore-Tex windbreaker on top of the jacket to keep out the water before it goes through the jacket, and that worked great riding through much rain in the East and South this month. This is a great jacket (system) and a very good value. I recommend it and am very happy with this purchase.

980 miles of satisfaction
I bought this jacket for a trip up the Pacific Coast Hwy. We experienced temperatures from the 40s to 100+. We had occasional heavy cross winds off the ocean and humidity of 40% or more and the jacket was great. I used the fit chart from Tour Master and it fits great. I really appreciate the multiple layers that can be zipped in and out easily depending on weather. The jacket looks good and must be quite visible to other motorists as they seemed more aware of me when I was wearing the jacket. My wife bought the women’s Intake Air also and we are both very satisfied with our purchases.

Order your regular size is the call - but Motorcycle Superstore again proved their return policies & procedures to be the easiest & best out there. My leather TourMaster jacket is an XXL and this one fits just right at XL - my normal size. TM ought to at least be consistent in their own sizing. Oh well, it all worked out. The shell is fantastic in the hot and that's all I've used. I have high expectations for the zip in's for the cold, as I had to take them off immediately upon trying them on when I got the jacket this summer. Way warm in about 5 seconds.

GREAT JACKET!!!
Overall I think this jacket had a lot of features for the money. I have worn the rain liner in heavy rain and kept me very dry. Can't comment on the insulated liner yet but it feels substantial. The mesh is great in 90+ degree weather. Sizing seemed to be normal. Only thing I don't like is the velcro around the wrists doesn't stay closed all the time. I would purchase this item again. As always, the shipping and communication was great from the Motorcycle Superstore.

Just the jacket that I had been looking for to protect and cool me. Great air flow and I like the look of the jacket. Have not used the liners yet so I cannot not say how well they will work. As usual, Tour Master has done it right. Zip-in, zip-out linings if the weather gets a little chilly. Take the liner out when it gets hot. CE armor where you need it. Perfect fit. And an affordable price too....what else would you want? I still can't believe I wasted all that money on Vanson leather, but that was many years ago before textile was as advanced as it is now. Tour Master rocks!

Great Jacket
I have used this jacket in warm and cool weather. On hot days the jacket keeps the rider cooler than just riding with a t-shirt. Great jacket for a great price
The jacket is great. Out of the box, with all 3 layers it felt a little tight but now about a month later I have to say that it is breaking in really nice. With just the out mesh on, on a 90 degree humid day the air flow was pretty impressive. If it wasn't for the armor the jacket is almost unnoticeable. The warming liner keeps you comfortable on the chilly nights. I haven't had the chance to test out the waterproof liner yet. Its quick to configure the 3 parts to suit the days needs. This is one jacket I don't have to think twice about putting it on.

Tour Master Intake Air 2 Jacket
I really like this jacket. Its comfortable to wear in the summer heat. If its cool at night I put in the rain/wind blocker insert. I bought this jacket for the hot weather. We had some cold days which I used both the wind/rain and insulated insert, I was nice and warm. The size chart was right on, the jacket is slightly snug when all three parts of the jacket are worn together, this is alright for the cold weather. The jacket fits great by itself and with the rain/wind insert. Handy pockets and the snaps on the arms snug everything up.

This is a great all season jacket. Mesh is cool enough to wear on hot days. The waterproof liner works great, and it has a quilted liner that I have not used yet. 5 star bargain
Most versatile jacket I have ever owned. To answer all of the other reviews as to how well it protects in the rain, let me add this tidbit. I have just completed a 4,000 mile ride thru Canada and Alaska. I had a 6 hr. ride on day 4 in which it never stopped raining. Using the jacket and the light weight liner, I never got a drop of water on me. This jacket is quite comfortable and gives you that confident feeling when riding. I would wear just the liner at night when going to dinner, shopping, etc. and found it to be quite warm and also quite comfortable.

Nice!
Very nice jacket. Seems to be made very well but can't comment on durability since I haven't had it long. I was looking for a summer jacket and did a lot of research before I decided to buy this one. I don't think you can beat this for all you get and the price! I tried to size it according to their size chart and that's a joke. Took all the measurements and according to it, I should have ordered either a small or extra small.. lol.. I am 5'9" 168lbs, I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly. I've always been a big fan of Tour Master products. Their products and prices have always been great!

With both liners in, the coat runs a little small but it's extremely warm. I bought this coat for warm Florida weather so I really don't expect to put both liners in very often. Some of the sewing threads are a little sloppy. I actually love this coat. This was a replacement for a Motoboss from Cycle Gear. This coat is way better. I will buy the same one again. The price at Motorcycle Superstore was the main reason I bought it and I'm glad I did.

I wanted a mesh jacket to wear riding in the hot weather. And I wanted a jacket that could function as wet weather gear when needed. And I wanted a lining that could be zipped in when needed. great hot weather coat!
March Weather in NH is cold, so on my first ride I found that this wasn't the right coat for the job. Should have pulled out the leather. For summer this will be ideal, its light well made and fit was spot on. It has a good look and has some nice feature like plenty of pockets and has fine adjustments for fit. Have not been in the rain with it yet. Good deal for the money. I do wish it had a bit higher collar.

Great Jacket!
It's kind of a process to put in or remove the inner liners, but I'm still getting used to it. Also, the interior zippers for the liner are a little finicky. Other than that, it's a great product. I live in El Paso, and I've already done plenty of 80+ degree riding. As long as you're on the move, it's perfect. This thing really breaths with the liners taken out. Put the liners in, and it's great for cool weather too.

Great jacket
I am super pleased with this jacket, and I think it was a good value. Always a risk for sizing when buying sight unseen, but I really liked the look of this jacket: stylish but not garish. It's a sort of a modular system, with a zip in layer for rain/wind protection, and a thermal liner for cold. You assemble the jacket to meet conditions, and that means it can be worn as an outer layer on really warm days in summer. I haven't yet ridden in rain, so I can't report on performance here. Construction and materials are very good. One reason I bought this one is that tall sizes are offered, and this fit my 6' 5" build well. I usually end up with sleeves that are way too short, which is annoying.

Great Jacket
This is a great jacket for lower price level. I typically use this product for short trips- mainly to school and around town. I was really unsure what size to buy- it seems every review tells you to go higher or lower, so I just bought my normal size and it turned out perfect. I don't often use the rain liner, simply because I avoid the rain, but all the layers are extremely easy to disassemble. I've ridden with it in the high 20's and been okay, just put on a long sleeve shirt. Can't wait till it warms up and I can take out the textile layer for good. The only down side I have is the armor does make my shoulders look huge, but it's a small price to pay. I gave durability a 4, just because I've only had it for a month.

This jacket is phenomenal; it's extremely breathable and visible (to drivers). Based on Tourmaster's sizing chart, this jacket fits me wonderfully! I just don't know how it could get any better. Lots of storage pockets. Great tear down to basic and back to full insulation and rain protection. Very adjustable and perfect fit. Great Jacket
The two separate liners make this a great choice for all-season riding, even in the rain. Fit and finish are outstanding and the reflective striping makes it very visible at night. Very warm down to the low 40s and should be great in summertime with both liners removed. Size-wise, I'm 6'4" and about 240 pounds with long arms, and the XXL Tall fits me perfectly. If you have long arms, get the Tall version since it has slightly longer arms than the Regular.

I haven't had a chance to see what the lower range of temperature might be with this jacket, but living in Maine will change that next Spring. From my few times wearing it I love it! High quality
I am tall. I stand 6'1". My chest size is 46". I ordered the XLT. The "T" stands for Tall. Perfect size for my long arms, the chest size fits well too, even with all the liners attached. The bottom of the jacket is at the bottom of my belt when standing... this is good when sitting down on the motorcycle... doesn't rise up above my belt. I like the back that dips down to cover your lower back when sitting. The quality of material is great. The waterproof liner has a webbed liner too to help to rid of moisture between your body and the liner. The mesh jacket has a webbed liner under the mesh material. The quilted liner works well down to 45 degrees at 60mph. Any colder I prefer to wear a sweat shirt underneath. No liners allow lots of air to flow around your body. The workmanship is very good. I was impressed with the quality of the liners and the mesh jacket outer shell. Zippers are of good quality and don't bind. Piping looks good in the dark... reflects well. All in all, I really like this jacket. Fits well, nice to have CE protection with lots of air flow if needed (no liners).

Great Warm Weather Jacket
purchased this jacket because I needed something that would not kill me in temps of 75 to 100. The jacket has exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a colder weather jacket, buy something else. The waterproof liner is like a windbreaker and will stick to your skin, not very comfortable. The thermal lining would be more comfortable if the neck portion were higher, a little to low for colder temps. As stated, I have not found anything better for warm weather, it vents great all over my body! By the way, outstanding armor that I am very happy with.

Tour Master - Intake Air 2 Jacket
I have worn the Tour Master Intake Jacket for about 4 years and I liked it so much, I decided to upgrade to the Intake Air 2 Jacket this year. This jacket fits well and the two liner system certainly keeps you warm and waterproof. The added advantage to this jacket is that you can remove both liners and have a very comfortable jacket to wear during the hot summer months and still have the protection every rider should have. If Tour Master brings out an Intake Air 3 jacket in the future, I'll be looking at upgrading again!
I am also very impressed with the service Motorcycle Superstore provides. I ordered this jacket on a Saturday evening and it was delivered to my door on the following Wednesday morning. Most impressive considering the parcel had to clear Canadian Customs and arrive on the east coast of Canada. Will I recommend Motorcycle Superstore? No doubt about it. Would I recommend the Tour Master Intake Air 2 jacket? Absolutely!

Tour Master Intake Air 2 Jacket
I've had a Tour Master Intake jacket for four years and decided to ”upgrade” to the Intake 2 jacket this year. It is by far the best jacket I've worn! Removing the two liners provides a very comfortable jacket (with protection) that you can wear during the hot summer months, and by adding the waterproof liner, you don’t need any other rain jacket to get you through the days when it is a slight drizzle or a downpour! The full sleeve quilted liner provides excellent warmth, especially here in Nova Scotia where the fall riding season, which runs from mid October until you put your bike to sleep by the first of December.
I can't see myself wearing any other jacket!
I couldn't be happier with the service from Motorcycle Superstore either. I ordered this jacket on a Saturday evening and it was at my door step by Wednesday morning. Amazing service, considering it had to be shipped through U.S./Canada customs!

Very nice
It gets hot in Texas. This jacket is the least miserable summer riding jacket I've seen. It fits very nicely and is finished well on the inside, so it doesn't poke and rub your skin when wearing a short-sleeved tee-shirt under it. It is the most comfortable armored jacket I've tried. The neck is very comfortable and doesn't rub at all.
The design has great contrast for visibility, too.

Good 1st Choice
This is my 1st jacket. Good fit, nice looks. Does ok in a torrential rain with waterproof liner in place. Kept me dry. When I got home, just pulled out padding, liners, and threw in dryer on low heat. I wanted an all around jacket and this does exactly that. Only trouble I really had is taking the liners in and out. Overall I am very pleased!

Awesome jacket
I have been wearing the jacket for the last month almost daily and it has been great. Living in the south it is very warm most of the year and the mesh flows a lot of air and keeps you cool. It's just starting to get cool here so I put in one of the liners and it kept me nice and warm for my rides down the highway. With the liners in it will be nice and snug, but once you take them out it will be a little loose, hence the markdown. With the snaps on the sleeves and the Velcro at the waist you can tighten it up pretty well. The armor is very solid but you will hardly notice it. There are a ton of pockets and you can hold pretty much whatever you need to. For $150 this is one of the best jackets I've seen.

Air 2 Jacket
The only reason I gave a 4 on durability is because of the Velcro. Straight out of the box most of it wouldn't stick. So far I've only worn it from 40f to 85f. This morning being the coldest so far, I wore both liners with a hooded sweatshirt underneath and stayed comfortable. Warm days it is great. Plenty of air runs through.

Love this jacket
I was still deciding on a jacket to buy and my friend let me borrow his Intake Air 2 to ride with. It was very comfortable, breathed well, had a ton of pockets. I quickly ordered my own. I'm 6' 190lbs with a 42” chest and I ordered the large. With all the liners in it's nice and snug and very warm. If I'm just wearing a tshirt with all the liners out it's a little loose but I can adjust the sleeve snaps and velcro straps on the side and snug it up. I'm comfortable wearing it around when I go somewhere since it's nice and cool and it saves me from carrying it. Overall I'm very glad I picked it up.

Great coat, a lot for the money
Wow, a lot of coat(s) for the money. Mesh shell is comfortable up to at least 85F behind a windshield. W/insulated and waterproof liners it's good down to the 40's. Had to trim a lot of loose threads, but otherwise the quality is very good. I like the style and get a lot of comments. Phoslite piping is very visible when I've seen it on other riders, pretty cool.

Very Satisfied
I live in Central Florida so I was looking for a jacket that would provide excellent ventilation yet be strong and durable. It is definitely a sweet jacket. I've ridden home in the middle of the hot summer and stayed cool the whole ride home. It kind of sucks sitting at traffic lights, but as soon as you get going again, you feel the breeze straight the whole thing. It sometimes feels like I'm not even wearing a jacket, it's that breezy. Thank you Motorcycle Superstore for great prices, great products, and a great shopping experience!

Great Jacket
I got the jacket just in time for a 2,200 mile trip in the mountains of Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado. The jacket performed just as advertized. I encountered 90 degree+ heat through parts of the trip and as low as 38 degrees while in the mountains. With the liners removed it was very comfortable in the heat. It really does work like an evaporative cooler. I think with the addition of layers underneath it will perform well even in the winter months here. (Oklahoma). My leather jacket does not have body armor so I intend to use the Tour Master as a 4 season jacket.

Keeps you cool and protected at 90+ degrees
Keeps you cool in Houston's 90+ degree summer heat. Separate liners for rain and cool weather make this an all-season design. Haven't tested the protection (thank goodness), but I'm sure it'll work as designed to due to the good fit of the jacket. Fits well with adjustable sleeves. Inside lining is well made and stitched, and multiple pockets provide plenty of storage.

I received the jacket about a month ago. I have ridden wearing it every day since, covering about 1300 miles in various kinds of weather. It arrived in a very timely manor from the Motorcycle Superstore in fine condition. Out of the box I found no construction issues, all zippers and snaps are well sewn, well attached and easy to use, even with light gloves on. The XL fits my boyish 5'8" 225#s like it was made for me. The waist is right on and the sleeves are just the right length. I like the removable liners because of the increase in riding options available here in the NE. I stead of the liners iI used a light fleece at the start of a ride on a cool 55 degree morning.

Tour Master - Intake Air 2 , Very Pleased, Great Value
Looked at quite a few jackets before buying this one. Love It!!!! Perfect for the early morning commute but still cool enough for the hot afternoon ride home. The two removable liners (1 waterproof, 1 insulated) are easily installed and removed. Tons of small interior pockets. All the zippers and snaps seem to be of good quality. Very pleased with the style.

Tour Master Intake Air 2
Over the entire jacket is great. The one area it lacks is the collar. I need to where a scarf around my neck when it's cooler because the air flows through the opening at where the zipper stops and the collar. It would be nicer if the collar had a wide flap to cover that area. A flap that didn't need to be used unless necessary.

Incredible ventilation
With excellent ventilation its like wearing no jacket at all. Air flows right through. Yet the protection is great with pads all down the back on the elbows and front. The quality is high and jacket is well thought out. Like the Velcro at the wrists versus zippers makes it easy to use and keep tight. The dual liners is a nice feature - you can use either one or both. Lots of pockets and adjustments. I had also got the Fieldsheer Track Paddock to try but the quality is not as good, jacket not as well thought out and it felt like a suit of armor (and suffocating really) compared to the Tour Master. The look is better than I thought from the photos. I wanted to not have the shoulders black but it has been comfortable even in 90+ weather. In fact when I get up on the Blue Ridge Parkway I actually get cold when at 5000+ feet and the temp dips down to 70. There are spots where there is only mesh which I did not know but all the impact areas are heavy material. Have not tried the liners yet but they should extend the jackets temp range. The lightness of the jacket makes me much more likely to wear it in the heat. Best of the 7-10 I tried on.

Gentlemens Jacket
I did not want your typical motorcycle jacket. Black leather or multicolored. I was looking for something I could wear year round. Sophisticated a little sporty but not wild. The air intake 2 jacket met all my needs. It has the rain/wind liner and a winter liner. This way I only had to buy one jacket and the price was right

Tour Master Intake Air 2 Jacket in Houston
I received the Tour Master Intake Air 2 Jacket four days after ordering it. It arrived in good shape with all zippers, snaps and Velcro strips working fine. Since I live in the Houston area, the first step was to remove the inner liners. They will not be used until much cooler weather arrives. I have ridden with the jacket in temperatures ranging from 78 degrees to 96 degrees. The jacket has been very comfortable allowing sufficient air movement while moving. It's still quite warm when sitting at stop lights but well worth it knowing that the elbow and shoulder armor is there. The cell phone pocket is very convenient. I have been very pleased with this jacket.

Great, versatile jacket. Offers excellent protection and comfort in warm conditions with the liner removed. Good looking too.

Great Jacket
I bought this jacket for warm-weather riding, and it hasn't disappointed. I work in an office job, and with both linings removed, this jacket provides plenty of ventilation with a minimal amount of sweat. I haven't used it for colder weather yet, but the linings seem like they would work year-round. Order a size bigger than you would think.

Tour Master - Intake Air 2 Jacket
I received my jacket just two days before a trip to Nebraska and Kansas. The beginning of the ride was not too hot but unfortunately the farther North I went the hotter it got. I had taken out the liners and the jacket was great, air flow was nice and to be honest I never really felt hot with the jacket on even when it got 100 degrees. The air was hot but I was very comfortable. Great investment and I am glad that I had it. It is worth every penny.

Lots of Air and Cheap
The jacket is styled nicely, and the armor in the shoulders and elbows feels substantial. The back pad is just foam, and won't do anything for you except maybe block some air flow (which it does). The "ballistic polyester" in the impact areas seems like it would hold up in a crash, but the mesh on the jacket does not give me that impression. The weave is very wide, and while it may let on lots of air, I can't imagine that so little material would do anything in the event of a slide. I ended up selling this jacket, and I definitely wouldn't buy another TM mesh, although they do seem to offer some nicer touring textiles. If you want protection and ventilation you'll need to spend a bit more dough. But as others have said, if this is all you can justify spending and it will keep you from riding in just a t-shirt DO IT! Just do it with a different mesh jacket.

Intake Air 2 defective
I bought relying on Tour Master name. Returned jacket for prompt refund the next day as it was impossible to put on. Speaking to a Rep from Tour master at Moto GP he said they had a bunch where the liner sleeve had been sewn incorrectly and was twisted making nearly impossible to wear. (Motorcycle Superstore was not aware of this). Tour master rep said they will quickly exchange any defective liners when received. Check your liner immediately after purchase.

Jacket with liner was perfect for a slightly chilly 50-some degree morning, with the liner out it was great for the 90 degree plus afternoon. Good airflow even at slow (25 mph) speeds. (I rated durability a "5" to be in line with the other categories, take that with a grain of salt as I've only used the jacket 3 times... It appears very well made, time will tell.)

Fabulous Jacket!
I absolutely love my Intake Air 2 Jacket. The jacket is well made, has plenty of pockets, snaps on the sleeves give sizing options and the air flow is primo! The temperatures here in GA have steadily been in the mid to high 90's with the heat index around 110. I ride to and from work daily, cruise on the weekends and wear the jacket every time I swing a leg over my bike. I did quite a bit of shopping before I bought this jacket and I definitely made the correct choice.

Tourmaster Intake Air 2 Jacket
This is my first purchase of a jacket of this type for riding the motorcycle. It has been excellent so far. I have only used it with the outer most jacket at this point. It is amazing how much air you get once you start moving. It also has plenty of protection built into the jacket. It should be great with the waterproof and/or insulated liner when necessary. I am very happy with it for the price.

Tourmaster Air Intake 2 Jacket
I like the adaptability of the jacket. With the rain and insulated liners, the jacket is perfect most riding conditions. It is a little bulky with all the liners installed, but not too heavy or restrictive. Good air flow through to keep cool on hot days. A great jacket.

Great Value
Excellent value. The shoulders, arm length and waist fit me great for size large. I find the body of the jacket to be overly large even with the waterproof liner and insulated liner in it. I wish they cut the body a little slimmer. Size medium was better fit in the body, but the sleeves are too short even for the mild sport touring position on my ST1100.
The mesh jacket alone is great even in 90 degree heat and humidity while underway and for brief stops. Fantastic airflow through the mesh. I got it in silver so even the sun wasn't bad in the heat.
I find the size of the waterproof liner to be oddly snug in the sleeves and I have slim arms. The waterproof liner is a clammy feeling urethane coated nylon shell that is uncomfortable so I wear a goretex shell instead. I do wish that the mesh jacket had more pockets on the outside.
Despite the few critisized items, this mesh jacket for warm weather riding is a great value that is hard to beat.

I enjoyed this jacket so much I bought my wife one. It was nice that it came in tall sizes. This is always a problem for me and the size fit true to other tall sizes I own. Great product.

Good jacket at great price
This is the first jacket I've purchased. Overall I am very pleased. The fit is very nice with several adjustable Velcro straps to accommodate different builds, and plenty of pockets for wallet, cell phone and other personal gear. It comes with two liners and since it is summer I removed both, and have found it comfortable down to about 80F (27C). The protective pads in the back, shoulder and elbow areas are noticeable, but comfortable. I only thing I am unhappy with is the lack of reflective material. A small strip of piping on the shoulders and arms (separating black from the main color) are the only areas which are reflective on the front. The back does have a small triangular reflective piece near the top (about 4”; (10cm) at the base), but it too could be larger. Other jackets I have seen on the road have much more reflective material to help the rider stand out in twilight/dusk conditions.

TourMaster Intake Air 2 Jacket and pants
I have used my jacket at least 3x and it feels great when you are moving. Naturally at highway speeds it is most effective. However 95 degrees is still hot unless you are at the ocean surf in your bathing suit. Good protection and airflow for the money.

Nice
I bought this jacket for hot weather riding. It is, of course, not as cool as no jacket at all, but it is much cooler than my leather jacket and much safer than not wearing a jacket. The large zipper flap on the lower back of the jacket (used for zipping pants to the jacket) can be a little uncomfortable when it gets in the wrong position. I just have to make sure I pull it down straight after putting the jacket on. It has many pockets and the fit is good. I have not tried the two extra liners it comes with (one for warmth and one for rain). Overall, I like the jacket very much.

Great Jacket
I got this jacket a couple weeks ago because a friend and I are planning on a 3400 mile round trip to Sturgis and, since its summer, I didn't want to wear my leather jacket because of the heat. It definitely is comfortable riding when temps are in the 90's which is as hot as it's gotten here so far. Great jacket at a really good price. After seeing mine, my buddy ordered his the next day.

Tour Master - Intake Air 2 Jacket
Great features in a quality jacket. Multi-function with 2 inner liners plus armor in appropriate places. Should be good for three seasons. However, it is still quite warm to wear even without either liner when the temperatures hit 90 to 95 degrees. Would probably be a little cooler without the armor but that would negate the main reason I bought this jacket. Overall, I am quite pleased thus far.

Nice jacket
Nice 3 seasons Jacket, Without the Liners it has great ventilation. So far I have only ridden with it in the summer heat. As long as you are moving it is comfortable even in 100 plus heat. With all the liners in I am sure it will be warm on cold riding days. Wont find out until September. Some of the threads have pulled out in couple of places so only a 3 on finish.

Handy Jacket
I have owned this jacket for several years and have enjoyed it immensely, especially in the summertime. The Jacket is actually cooler than just a t-shirt. The combinations of the two liners also makes it a very usable all season jacket. I liked it so well that I just purchased one from the Superstore for my wife. I like the armor placed in strategic places. I don't plan on needing it, but one never knows. As a former Boy Scout I believe in the motto "Be Prepared".

Great Jacket
Lots of protection. I have worn it in cool temps. 40%. Keeps me very warm. Going on a 4 day in August. We will see if it is cool enough thru Nevada. I like the three layers. I would like a better design on snapping on layers, however everything else over rides that design...Great Fit

Tour Master-Intake Air 2 Jacket
OK folks, this is a GREAT jacket. The liners are what they say and more. I rode in 89-93 degrees in the outer mesh portion with the protectors, and I felt like I had a T-shirt on. It fit me like a glove. The sizing is correct, just follow the charts. The quality is excellent!
Obviously, I haven't tried it in cold weather yet, but I have tried it with the rain liner--it works great!! Not a drop of water came through. It’s definitely an extremely versatile jacket, and I highly recommend it. BTW, the protectors are great in the elbows, shoulders and back. Motorcycle Superstore's service was excellent and fast. Thank-you all very much.

This is a great jacket at a decent price. Good protection. I bought it to stay cool in the summer but the liners provide good insulation and warmth. It just takes a while to take the liners in and out.

Tour Master Intake 2 jacket
As with all Tourmaster/Cortech products, it is well made and designed with the rider in mind. I did not purchase this jacket with the intention of ever using the liners; I just wanted a nice mesh jacket for summer. If you do not intend to wear any of the liners, it is true to chest size. If you need to wear the liners, sizing might be tight. This jacket flows air great! I wear it as-is down to 60°, below that I wear a Schwampa warmskin shirt for insulation. It has been very comfortable up to 90° so far. I can not envision it getting too warm for this jacket based on the comfort at 90°. My only complaint is that I wish it came in more variety of colors - I have a Kawasaki Green bike and would have liked a jacket with some green accents - just being picky.

We bought 2 and love them
We bought 2 jackets a month ago and rode around SE Utah and Northern Arizona. They were very versatile with the 2 removable linings so the jackets were worn 3 different ways depending on the weather. On the hottest of days we were cool. But on cold days even with both linings we would need extra layers as well.

Tourmaster intake air 2 jacket
Excellent jacket- fits well and very versatile. Only complaint is that one of the snaps in the sleeve liner is broken before I even tried it on. This is a recurring theme as the waist snaps on my Fieldsheer pants don't work either... Is there some kind of international conspiracy regarding snaps? It’s too much trouble to mail these items back so I did not inform Motorcycle Superstore and otherwise these are good products from a good store with good prices.
