Practical Performance at a Nice Price
This jacket definitely hit the mark! The yellow version is very visible for commuting and long trips. It has tons of great pockets. The vents do a good job of flowing air up into the low 80's when you're moving. It truly is waterproof as I can attest after 100 miles in the remnants of a hurricane on the way into Indy. The only real cons I've found are that it can get a bit warm in temps above the 70's if you aren't moving and it's a bit heavy to carry around with you. It doesn't feel too heavy when you're wearing it. Also, the velcro that holds up the fabric flap covering the rear exhaust vent can come undone pretty easily, but that's not a big deal. Overall this is an awesome jacket.

Great Technical Jacket
The Freeway is well thought out, well engineered and well made. The quality of the materials, the stitching, zippers and other closures is first rate. So many features! Waterproof and warm and toasty into the 30's with the liner in. Comfortable up to 70 degrees without the liner and the air vents open. The air vents work very well. I have the hi-vis yellow which is perfect for commuting and longer trips. The material is a bit firm but will soften with use, no doubt. I've worn this jacket to work on cold mornings with the liner in and back home in the warmer afternoons with liner out. Very easy to install and uninstall the liner. It self stores into a nice hip pack. Only complaint is that the liner is a foil material that forces you to wear a long-sleeve shirt so your bare arms don't stick. Great waterproof closure system. More pockets than you will ever use.

Good not Great
In general I like the Teknic Freeway Jacket. The jacket offers many storage pockets on the outside that are well closed with a strong hook and loop closure, there are also pockets inside. Ventilation for hot weather is also good; I stay comfortable while riding with temperatures up to 90. I come with a liner for cool weather riding and you will need it when temperature move to the mid 50s or so, the jacket is not overly warm without the liner. A couple of comments about the fit and finish; I had to re-stitch one of the neck closures fairly soon after I received the jacket, the stitching that was there did not hold. The cut seems to be on the large size. This is particularly the case in the cut of the arm length. It is cut full in the body as well but with the liner it is appropriate.

A Great Purchase
I purchased this jacket after reading the reviews. Even still I was a little skeptical but that's just my nature. After a ride in 46 degree temps last night without the liner, I was impressed. I rode out in the 70s and had all the vents open and by the time we got headed home I had them closed up and we were cruising. This is a great jacket. It fits great, excellent construction and warmth is remarkable. I purchased this specifically for a winter riding jacket and I'm glad that I did. I would absolutely recommend this jacket to anyone that was looking at it.

Buy this jacket!!
What makes this jacket such a great buy is its versatility. It has too many features to list. It has a ton of pockets for storage. A self storing insulated liner. A very soft, removable collar. Waterproof. Chest, arm and back vents that work perfectly. A Labyrinth closure system for wind and rain or for cooling on warmer days. The only very minor drawback is the insulated liner. It's a reflective foil and is like an easy bake oven. You'll need long sleeves; otherwise your arms stick to the fabric. Small price to pay for staying toasty warm in mid-winter. Do NOT wear the liner over 50-60 degrees! The hi-vis yellow is great for commuting. This is truly a perfectly designed and engineered jacket. The quality of the materials, the stitching, zippers, everything about it is first rate.

Way Cool Not
Very nice jacket, a bit warm for mid-day and afternoon riding. Anything above 75 degrees you will be roasting unless cruising above 40 miles an hour. I am pleased with the purchase. It is water proof, have the wet boots to prove it.

Great Jacket
I bought the jacket for a recent trip to Newfoundland. I was looking for a waterproof jacket that offered good ventilation. The Freeway jacket fit the bill and delivered as advertised - keeping me dry during several full-day riding in soaking rain. The removable storm collar is a great feature (one that I didn't think I would actually use). On warm days, the venting worked quite well up to 85 degrees. There are a lot of apparently small features on the jacket that are very well thought out and make a big difference in comfort and storage

Teknic Freeway Jacket
Purchased the Teknic Freeway at a closeout price and am very impressed. The jacket is very well made and is a more minimalist design than my Belstaff Discovery, which is what I wanted. At 6'4” 250 lbs, the size 50 fit me perfectly. The feel and features are great. Can't comment on long term durability or waterproofness yet, but overall I think the Freeway will be my favorite fall, winter, spring jacket. Excellent jacket with excellent style. Go for it. This was my first order from Motorcycle Superstore and it was a great online shopping experience. Good communication and shipping.

Freeway Jacket
I've own this jacket for about a month now, the fit and finish are very good. I haven't been about evaluating it on a ride due to the warm humid temps in my area. The pockets are numerous and will come in handy this fall. I ordered the yellow model and I would consider it to be highly visible. The pricing for this jacket is exceptional, but it appears to be discontinued, but it is still a great jacket.

Freeway Jacket
The jacket is nice but seems a bit on the 'plastic' side. I get the feeling I'm wearing a rain jacket. I guess that's what makes it waterproof. It does hold up well in the wind, VERY warm, especially with the liner. A long sleeve shirt is necessary for comfort otherwise the inside of the jacket can stick to the skin. Riding in weather above 80 F will start to get a bit hot for $159 it’s a good deal, for $300 I'd pass. The yellow is great for visibility.

MCSS has a great deal
I have been watching for a deal on this jacket since I read a review on ADV Rider. MCSS came through and the jacket did not disappoint. Tons of pockets and very adjustable fit. The vents work well and seal up great. The jacket seems to be waterproof although I have not tested it in a storm. Only complaint to date is the easy bake oven liner and the interior material are a little plastic-y. Not super annoying but I try and wear a dri-fit long sleeve shirt underneath. Will have to see on the Durability as it is still pretty new. Also, have not tested the warmth but wind resistance is good.

Outstanding!
This jacket is a very well thought out - pockets, vents, armor and adjustable in just the right places, extremely comfortable fit (Size 42 - I'm 5'11” - 165 lbs.), 2/3 length is perfect for upright seating. I've been commuting daily and touring on the weekends for a couple months and the jacket still looks new. It really is waterproof! I've weathered several Colorado afternoon thunderstorm downpours and stayed dry and comfy. Its warm without the liner down into the 40's F (mornings in the mountains) with just a long sleeve t-shirt underneath. With the liner zipped in and the extended collar, I should be toasty well into Fall. It also vents very well for warm weather riding and is quite comfortable even when the temps approach 90 This is a VERY well constructed jacket and should stand the test of time.

Teknic - Freeway Jacket
This Jacket straight out of the box catches your eye, its an excellent blend of style and features. It has enough pockets for anyone, the vents are actually functional and cool me down quite a bit. The only let down was the sizing. I bought the 52 inch jacket as some comments I read were that the jacket is made large. In my opinion the jacket is smallish for my 52 inch chest and would have bought the 54 inch like I usually do with other jackets. With the liner out the jacket is a little snug with the liner its to tight. If your like me 6'3” and 245 with a 52 inch chest do the right thing and buy the 54 inch jacket.
Other than that its a very good choice for Freeway and in town driving. I recommend it highly. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com is on my list of best places to buy on-line.

High Quality Jacket
Very impressed with the jacket overall. Very nice features combined with quality fit and finish. This is the nicest riding jacket I have had to date. It is a little on the heavy side even with the liner removed. But with the vents open it’s not an issue unless it is really hot and humid. I feel very protected with this one. The removable liner folds into itself, like a fanny pack, pretty cool. I highly recommend it.

Teknic Freeway Jacket
Great jacket at an awesome price. Lots of water proof pockets and jacket adjustments. Rugged construction with plenty of armor. Ventilation could be a bit better but I tested the jacket on a 87 degree day with a bunch of humidity (I took the liner out). Will be testing it in the rain soon and by the looks of it, it should hold up to a down-poor.

Summer Heat
This is a great jacket but is blistering above 80 degrees F. The jacket looks very good and the fit is well adjustable to the person. I found this to be a great first jacket for myself.
