Tyler Houston,  TX Great deal for the price I cannot believe this jacket is so cheap! For a leather jacket with CE armor, you really get a good deal. The perforated leather keeps me pretty cool in Texas as long as I'm not in traffic. I love the fit, the black and red matches my bike, and I get lots of compliments on it. The belt loop attachment works great too on the highway. The only thing I wish this jacket had is an internal pocket. Other than that, I'm very happy with it and recommend it to everyone.

mirza saint louis,  MO Teknic - Impulse Leather Jacket Even though this is a leather jacket it is not very good for the cold weather but it is the best warm weather jacket I’ve ever owned. Since the leather is perforated it is very light-weight and a lot of air gets through. The fit is good, the only thing that could've made the jacket better is if the elbows were pre-curved.

Bruce Chicago,  IL Great Except One Thing I really enjoy the value of this jacket, the fit is good and the air flow is ten times better than I had thought after feeling how heavy it is. The armor can be adjusted which is nice and removed as well. The flush buttons are great but here's the problem. The flush button on the right cuff is loose and looks to have started to fall apart. The multiple level of adjustment around the waist is great if you decide to add armor and need some room. I couldn't find a better jacket for the price in black/red...stay away from the Evil Knievel colors though. I'll be looking into getting the button fixed right after I submit this...

brad reno,  NV Great Value Heavy-weight, perforated leather jacket, with armor at a great price. The sizing was true in my case with a 46 being slightly looser than my size 46 Fieldsheer jacket. Its described as "baggy fit", I would call it "slightly looser fit".

kyten Fort Smith,  AR Teknic Impulse Leather Jacket This jacket rocks! I am 5'7” and 200 lbs and the 46 fit me perfectly. The quality is top-notch and the color (I ordered the blue) is really unique. Has almost a purple hue but don't let that scare you because it really looks good. The liner is red, not black as it appears on the picture here but again it goes well with the jacket as some of the logos are red. The price is amazing and the perforated leather will be a huge benefit when summer rolls back around as many reviewers, professional and otherwise, say it breathes nearly as well as a mesh jacket. Couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Jonathon Jax,  FL Good Jacket, Great Price I was looking for leather, having always have textile or mesh. This was the one I settled on ultimately because of price. Fit seems a little tight, I am a 52 jacket size and it's snug, but in the arms and shoulder, the armor sits were it is supposed to. It's curious that the elbow and shoulder armor is CE approved, but not the back. Because of this, I am buying a spine protector. This jacket vents incredibly well, better than my mesh jacket, which seems to defy logic, but I love it. Only other odd thing is that there is a liner for the chest, but not the arms, and the arms vent great, so this makes no sense for colder climates, but since I live in Florida, I might be okay.

John Port Orchard,  WA Teknic Leather Impulse Jacket Great fit, arms long enough to cover wrists when riding. But the zippers were a little on the whimpy side...had trouble zipping up the front at times...it would get stuck. Also a little short on pockets and no vents in the back. Only anchor to the pants was one belt loop. Would prefer an 8” zipper to attach to pants.

Eric Clouser Kennesaw,  GA Crash tested Like the baggy fit, bought the 54 and has plenty of room for my T-Pro Chest and Back protectors. I always wanted a red, white and blue jacket. Breathes well, almost as well as a mesh jacket, but feels much safer. The jacket is also very light - normal leather jackets that large are pretty heavy. Leather and stitching held up well - did not tear. Elbow and shoulder armor did their job as well - no bruising or soreness. Teknic has a new fan in me.

Fernando Menendez Guatemala,  FL Great Jacket but the fit is off I get the impression the size of the jacket is estimated without all the protective pads on the shoulders, elbows and back causing the 42 size I bought (my size in suits, jackets, etc.) very tight around the chest and upper arm area. Keep in mind while ordering. Once I remove the pads it fits fine but obviously I have to keep them on for riding.

Alex Detroit,  MI Good Jacket I marked down the fit because it was sized one size too large (i.e. at 42 was really a 44). It is a really sharp looking jacket with high-quality armor and recessed zippers (no scratching your bodywork) so I gave it high marks on the finish. I marked it down on the durability because I haven't had it for that long, so it's kind of hard to rate. The features get high marks, because the ventilation and the loose cut work really well in hot weather (I've had it on several 90 degree days) and the waist size adjustability works better than other jackets I've had. The cost benefit is high because I got it on sale. Overall, I'm very pleased with this jacket. The only thing I would add is that it is a straight-cut jacket and may not work as well on sport bikes (I have a street fighter with a more upright position). Nothing against the jacket itself, but I would buy a pre-curved jacket if I had a sport bike.
