Firstgear Torrent Mesh Jacket

Nothing represents the versatility of textile jackets better than mesh. The fabric’s ability to provide loads of cooling airflow, while in the midst of a heat wave, without compromising safety is a quality no other jacket can boast. With mesh, there are no reasons for you to ride without protection no matter how hot the temperature.

The Torrent is an all-conditions riding jacket. Constructed with a polyester mesh outer shell, the Torrent features a full-sleeved, removable, waterproof and breathable liner to keep you dry and on your way when the weather suddenly changes. Plus, two front cargo dry pockets protect your valuables from getting wet.

  • Removable, waterproof and breathable fully-sleeved liner with mobile/PDA and patch pocket (so you don’t lose storage space with the liner in place)
  • CE-armor protects shoulders and elbows, plus an EVA foam backpad
  • 2 front cargo dry pockets and 2 front cargo pockets; all with easy-grip pulls, so you don’t have to remove your gloves to get into them
  • Clip your gloves onto a convenient D-ring
  • Microfiber-lined collar for comfort

Gary Saint Augustine,  FL Firstgear - Torrent Mesh Jacket Sale price made it the best value in all of my riding gear. Most of the time its warm enough to wear in these Florida winters with the liner in. And will be alot cooler than my unaired riding jacket come summer which means less time unprotected.

joe mac laverne,  CA motorcycle jacket I commute 30mi each way on crowded l.a. fwys,, have worn this jacket in january, has an excellent fit, constructed very well, the inner liner is a little cumbersome but necessary for cold weather, the outer shell when worn without liner is like wearing fishnet, which is probably good on warm summer days..love the big pockets, overall a great jacket

He loves the jacket and it fits him great, he is 6'4" and about 160lbs, so a big guy and he says it’s just great. I want to see if they have a matching woman's for me! DrAlloway Washington,  DC Summer Jacket I bought this Mesh jacket in anticipation of next Summer's 10,000 mile ride from DC to Frisco to Vancouver and back. I need a jacket for June Hot in Kansas and the Nevada desert and July Chilly in the Canadian Rockies. So it has not yet been completely tested. However, it is very well made, good armor, lots of mesh, a full waterproof tight fitting liner, lots of good pockets, and wrist and waist adjustments. My old mesh jacket is staying home - this one is coming along.
