Kevin Houston,  TX Pretty good The jacket fits pretty well. Unlike other older mesh jackets in the Alpinestars line, these come with chest foam protectors which is better than nothing. The jacket looks good and textile is heavy-duty construction. Luckily, I haven't tested it in a crash yet. (knock on wood) .

Garry Crossland Oakland,  CA Great, lightweight jacket With the moderate weather in the Bay Area, finding the right jacket can be difficult. No longer. The Sniper is the perfect weight for most of the year. Roomy enough to slip a hoodie underneath and fitting enough that the armor feels just right.

BJ Medford,  OR Love It!!! Sizing was a little difficult to choose but ended up getting 4xl. I am 5'11" 245lbs. The fit was good with the arms being a little bit long but manageable. Great style and comfort though. Wore it on a 400 mile ride in 100 degree weather and then the next day hit rain. Held up better than expected. Wish the liner was removable. We'll see how colder weather goes. Lot's of comments from other riders

Cletus Roediger Rome,  PA Good jacket for a good price I purchased this jacket about a month ago. Fits real well, using the Alpinestars sizing chart it determined I was a medium. (I'm 5'10 about 145-150 lbs.) Looks really nice, I get a lot of compliments about it. Jacket is darker than it looks in the pictures (black). Downsides of the jacket, it's really hot when you stop moving, I have rode in 90 degree weather with it on and it doesn't bother me until I stop, then it bakes me alive. Just riding it works out excellent!

Paul Murphy Toronto,  ON Very cool jacket This is a good looking jacket. I was psyched to wear it when I got it out of the box. Feels pretty solid, but I have to say I'm not so sure how it would fare going down at highway speeds though. Using the a-stars sizing chart it looked like a medium would be a good fit for me (5'10, a slim build ~155 lbs) however the torso part of the jacket seems a little short (so do the arms but not as much as the torso), I had to take out the shoulder pads for it to look right on me. After that it fit pretty good. Overall I am happy with the jacket and would recommend it to anyone.

Morgan Valley Village,  CA Awesome Jacket! This is a great jacket for mild heat to cold weather. Fits very well, pads are removable, many pockets in places that won't get in your way. I have also found that when you keep the two side pockets unzipped airflow feels like it’s doubled. Only con I can see to this is that there is no removable liner, the pads are inserted strait into the jacket. Otherwise, great jacket for a good price.
