Michael Toney Renton,  WA DRYstar? Not very dry The first day I wore the gear it was 40 degrees and dry while riding to work. I was comfortably warm in the Drystar gear. On the way home it was 60 degrees and barely raining; it was more of a mist. About 2/3 of the way home the mist changed to light rain. I figured "no worries, the rain is barely coming down, I only have about 6 miles to go, and I'm wearing brand new waterproof riding gear". I got home a few minutes later and could feel water inside my clothes (I'm only going to comment on the jacket here). My t-shirt was wet just above the waistline, and there was water inside the jacket pockets! I had my wallet inside one of the pockets and my cell phone inside the other. Everything in my wallet was soaked, as well as my hands when I put them in the pockets! My cell phone was also soaked and had quit working. I opened the back of the phone and found water inside, under the battery and under the SIM card! For a waterproof jacket, it acted more like a sponge! This weekend I used a few cans of waterproof spray on the jacket, pants, gloves, backpack, and boots. We'll see if that helps. This jackets looks good, is comfortable, and feels rugged, but it gets low marks for its small sizing, and the fact that it's labeled as waterproof and I got wet while riding just a few miles in light rain.

Ed Raleigh,  NC Great Jacket! I'm 5'11" 185lbs and purchased the large, fits well. The armor just makes it a little bulky when not on the bike. Great jacket for 80 and below. The vents work well, you do not get hit with direct air, but it circulates throught the majority of the jacket. Armor seems to be in all the right places.

Daniel E. Dimmock Denver,  CO Alpinestars - Sigma Drystar Jacket I like the jacket very much. It has all the features that I wanted. The only drawback is that the sleeves are a little long. However, getting the correct size was not easy. I normally wear “Large” shirts and jackets. The “large” jacket had to be sent back in exchange for an “extra large” jacket. The sizing is not what an average American would expect.
