Good jacket, one flaw...
I've had this jacket for almost a whole riding season now and the only complaint that I have is the cuffs. Instead of the zipper going all the way to the end of the cuff it stops and then there is a Velcro piece that completes the cuff around the wrist. I find this very difficult to get my gloves over because it's too bulky. I have another AS jacket that doesn't do this, the zipper goes all the way to the end, works perfect. I'm not quite sure why they decided to do this. All in all that’s my only complaint though, 4 stars for Alpine Stars on this jacket.

I love this jacket
Let me start off by saying how great this company is. The day the jacket was shipped the day it went on sale. I called the company and without any hesitation they refunded me the difference so I paid the sale price. Now I can use that money to buy more stuff from them. Now the jacket; this thing is amazing, comfort is unbelievable, I just went for a ride today in 50 degree weather and I stayed pretty toasty. The jacket is a little heavy so I know it'll protect me. It comes with padding in the back, front, elbows, and shoulders. Alpinestars definitely know how to make a great looking safe comfortable jacket and there is no better company to buy it from than Motorcycle Superstore.

Perfect!
I’m 6'2" in height and weigh 210 lbs. I bought this first leather jacket last year of summer and was surprised that it is not too hot to wear during days of summer (without the lining). The perforated exhaust keeps your body cool and keeps you warm at night. The fit are great and not so bulky. The only thing I found is the bottom part of the jacket. If you are lean and have no bulging tummy, the waist part is too wide even if you adjust the waist by strapping the Velcro. But if you have a big belly like most of the guys watching football while eating pizzas and drinking beers on their lazyboy, this jacket may seem to be fit for you. But all in all, the materials are high-end and very sturdy. I recommend this to all sportbike riders.

Best out there
I love the both the Shoei and Alpinstars jacket that I received. Both are well worth the money. The helmet by far is the most light weight helmet I have ever had. Jacket isn’t too bulky feeling that a lot others make you feel with bulky padding making you "stiff"
