Tour Master - Saber Series 2 Jacket
First jacket. Only trouble is the 2-way zipper, I have difficulty getting it started. Good array of storage, ventilates well on warmer days. Very wind resistant on cold days.

Tour Master - Saber Series 2 Jacket
I am very pleased with the purchase of this jacket. I'm 6ft. 190lbs. and the large fits well. Initially, I thought it was a little snug, but that was with the liner in and a sweat shirt, so I know I have the right size. I have been out riding in 40 degree weather with no problems and was very warm and could easily handle colder temps, long term rides not tested, but should be fine. I have a motorized fairing on my bike and in the down position still no cold issues. Haven't tested in a down pour, but only in light rain. No problem and suspect it will not be problem in heavy rain either. Venting is really good. Overall I'm very pleased with this Jacket.

Great Jacket
I have 10,000 miles in 11 months on my Super Sport Tourer with this jacket. I ride year round. With the liner and a thin fleece underneath is all that's needed for staying warm riding in 27 degrees. When the weather warms up, take the liner out open the vents and stay cool while you’re moving. You get warm when stopped though, but I can live with that. The jacket is waterproof also, riding several hours in the pouring rain, stayed completely dry. Plenty of pockets, inside and out. The sleeves are starting to fray at the glove line, other than that I have no complaints. I'm 6' 3" 180 lbs and wear an XL. My wife is 5' 3" 125 lbs and wears a SM. We both love this jacket and would highly recommend it.

Looks and fits great out of the box. Warm and dry on those cold/wet days. A little warm above 75, even with all the vents zippers open. Durability is my main gripe. Quality of the outer fabric is poor. The jacket is used for daily commuting and occasional day rides only, but lower sleeves are fraying and showing wear after just a few months. My previous jacket lasted 10 years! Would not buy this model again.

BEST VALUE EVER !!
I live in Chicago and March/April mornings can be wayyy too cold to ride. I got this jacked and tried it on a few days later. I went to work in 45 degree weather and it kept me warm and comfortable.... I didn’t feel the least bit chilly. I’m on a cruiser now and the Double front zipper is a plus, it makes room for your legs.

My reflection on the Tour master saber 2 Jacket
This is a very good jacket, I have used it in near 30F with no problems, and I would recommend this jacket to anybody looking for a good all weather jacket.

Great Winter Jacket
I have worn this jacket for a couple months in temperatures to the low 30s at speeds up to 70 mph and it has kept me warm. The zipper vents work well in getting air flow through later in the day when temperatures get warmer. I haven't worn it in temperatures above the mid 50s yet, but feel I will need a mesh jacket for summer anyway. Stayed dry in light rain but have yet to wear it in a soaker. Overall I have been quite pleased with the jacket since I bought it to extend my riding season and it has met all expectations and at a great sales price to boot.

Great jacket
I've had the Sabre 2 jacket for 5 months. It made no sense having to carry rain gear in addition to riding gear if both are available in one item, so I tried this version of Tourmaster. I have 2 whines: the Velcro is sometimes maddening as it grabs at every opportunity; and the shoulder/arm/hip padding is pretty wimpy compared to Rally Pro2. But I stay dry without having to add a waterproof liner, costs a bunch less and, all things considered, it has turned out to be a good choice.

Size Matters
I think the Tourmaster fits truer to size than the Fieldsheer, which is what I was originally trying to get, so the jacket I have is a bit too large. I kept it since I really needed the warmth, and though large enough for a relatively loose fit, it was not way too big. I probably should give it all 5's since it's my own fault I got too large a jacket.
It is sufficiently warm (I've ridden into the 30's F) and the one time I got caught in light sprinkles, it seemed dry enough. I would still try to put on a rain suit if heading into a downpour; too many ways to get water down your neck.

T/M Saber Series 2 Jacket
As with the boots that came with this order I was surprised with the quality, features, fit and price. Well padded, easy to be put on and the vents were easy to operate with gloves on, and seem to vent very well. Maybe even too well when wide open.

Good deal, Buy it !
I just did 150 mile off road dual sport ride with just a T-shirt on under the jacket and was worm until we got up high with an air temp of about 36 degrees. I put a thin fleece coat under the jacket and that worked great. Both the guys I ride with have tourmaster jackets that they have had for a couple of years and have ridden in all kinds of conditions and the product works great with no problems.

Sabre2
I normally wear a medium, but even the Small I ordered seems a bit large. Fortunately it has lots of good adjustment features. Have had it for a couple of months now. Worn it in cold down to mid 40's and downpour rains. Stayed warm and dry every time.

Happy with my purchase
I was a little leery of purchasing my gear online - not sure of the size or quality of the goods. So far I have been completely happy with all of my purchases from this web site. This jacket is everything I expected it to be - the quality is great and the it has all the features that I wanted for a very reasonable price.

Nice jacket.
I bought this jacket, after looking at many more expensive ones. I have found it to fit well, and be comfortable. I have remained dry in the rain. The only negative I have found, is that the jacket can be hot on 80 plus degree days. This would probably be a problem with any jacket. Good value for the money.

Great Jacket
The Jacket is great I like the fact that I can zip off the outer shell in warmer weather. It is comfortable and for the price the value is great.

good price but durability is lacking
First of all, I've owned this since January and wear it nearly every day (daily commuter on my bike). After about a month of owning this, I noticed pieces of thread sticking out from different spots on the jacket; it started with a few and grew to quite many. Scissors solved that problem but it was still quite annoying. About a month ago the seam for the right sleeve started coming loose; it's almost completely off now, not sure how long it's going to last. I'm not sure if I'd buy this jacket again, considering the lack of durability.

Great price!
This jacket is a bargain! The vents in the jacket really make a difference when riding in warm weather. It’s got a lot of great other features that really make the jacket an excellent value.

Grat jacket! Keeps warm, but when warm, lots of venting. My wife loves the set as well. Highly recommended with the pants that attach.

tour master - saber series 2 jacket
Well I never got wet or cold in mountains of WV ,but the stitching not very good some of the threads in sleeve has started to come out, not that its falling a part but hanging out looks well used… I guess they’re not meant to go at speeds that I drive! All in all I would buy another one. Also it stays cool when it hot as long as you are moving.

Saber 2 Jacket
Heard about new textile products thought I would try them out. Best jacket I have ever worn. Comfortable, easy to move in and warm. I tried this jacket around home 50 miles or so, weather was 38-50, I was warm and my friend kept putting on more clothes. Have stored all leather since got home.

Tour Master Saber Jacket
If you're looking for a cool/cold weather jacket this is the one, especially for the price. Toasty warm at 40F with quilted liner in place. Lots of pockets, good fit, and durable. Above 65F, however, the waterproof liner, which is billed as breathable, really isn't. The jacket becomes a sauna suit in warm weather. Vents only helpful when you're moving along at 35 mph or above. If most of your riding is in warm to hot conditions, you need to consider something else.

over all a fine jacket at a great price
The only thing if disliked about the jacket is when the zippered vents are unzipped, the permanent inner liner blocks any wind from cooling you off as the day warms up, even when the zip out liner has been removed. This jacket gets too hot when the temp reaches upper 60's. The fit and quality is good, overall I like the jacket. I just need to somehow get more air inside the vents.

Good Jacket
Great fit, good protection and warm. I rode in 40 degree weather and was quite comfortable with the liner in. With the liner out, the jacket is a bit warm in 85+ degree weather. The ventilation was fair, but still not enough to keep me fairly cool, especially when stopped in traffic.
